Cowboy breakfast

Doesn't look like much when you drive by but Scott's serves breakfast buffets on Saturday and Sunday. The buffet has a large variety that can tame any appetite. There is French toast, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, eggs, cheesy hash browns, breakfast potatoes along with a variety of other choices.

The worst so far! Ugly attitude from the incompetent server, hash browns undercooked, starchy and cold. The bacon was limp and sticky like it was microwaved. Negative stars!!!

I love the eggs Benedict! By far the best I've had! We try to go at least twice a month. Hubby loves the brunch on Saturday morning!

I don't remember lol

Friendly and attentive staff, tasty breakfast staples, and reasonable prices. A nice alternative to Perkins.

Better than the breakfast house. I had the chorizo omelet which was delicious. I also like that you get a free side of pancakes

The food was great, really like the Shipwreck. I recommend building your own plus it's your own…read moreshipwreck(lol)! I was not ready for the biggest hot cake I ever eaten and it was cook very nice. Hats off to the three cooks who were cranking out the orders. The place was busy but the wait time to sit and get my food was worth the wait. I would come back again to wait in line for the food.. Great place to stop by if you're driving through Cedar Rapids. The place is very nice inside, a little cramp but who cares the food was great.

Traveling through Cedar Rapids, we stopped at The Breakfast House for a quick bite before heading…read moreout of town. Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, it was easy to miss from the outside, but inside it had all the charm of a classic hometown diner. Since it was early on a Friday morning, we were seated right away with no wait. Our server was cheerful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The menu had all the diner staples you would expect, and we decided to kick things off by sharing a cinnamon roll. It came out warm with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. A solid start to the day. I went with the Corned Beef Hash combo, which came with two eggs, hashbrowns, and the option to substitute toast for a pancake for $1.99. Easy choice. I don't drink coffee, so Diet Pepsi was my morning fuel. Yep, it is another Pepsi establishment. My vegetarian sidekick ordered a veggie omelet without onions, but when the food arrived, hot and fresh, she discovered onions had snuck in. It was no big deal. They were very apologetic and had a corrected version out quickly. We shared my pancake while we waited, which kept everyone happy. All in all, this spot delivered exactly what we needed. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and breakfast classics done right. It is a nice little gem if you are passing through or just looking for a relaxed morning bite.

I thought it was the restaurant that was featured on KCRG for their decorations. But boy was I glad I did. The place was decorated with all kinds of Christmas decorations like on the news and the place was festive. We had our best meal there we've had anywhere in a long time. This is a gem that needs to be upvoted. We ordered the $21 ribeye, thinking ya sure, ribeye for $21 where everywhere else is $30 to $40 dollars. It was delicious, perfectly done to my request, great sides of potatoes and zucchini and Chimichirri sauce. We also ordered the Asian Potsticker Salad. Again, just delicious. With two amber pints for happy hour we the best dinner in months. Help was exceptional and all employees looked to be very happy working there, I asked. Highly recommend, and we'll be going back to try all there other specialties.
