When dining in I am normally very satisfied with the quality of Chili's food. Unfortunately the experience using DoorDash wasn't the same. The restaurant was less than a mile from our hotel and delivery was estimated to be an half hour so that seemed better than fighting the Sat night crowd. Soup was cold required heating thankfully our hotel had a microwave. The tortilla strips added to soup were a soggy mess (why would they not be in separate packaging) . The burger was good but not hot and a mess because it wasn't packaged to travel. The fries were cold and limp as if they had been under a food lamp before packaging. We came in about an hour before they closed, which for many other restaurants we have been to that's when the service goes downhill and the food too. But that was not the case here! Our server was Simon and from the second that he greeted our table to when we left the doors he just made the whole experience amazing! It was our first time at chilis of many to come! I haven't been to a Chilis in years and had came in for dinner with some friends. I was surprised with how cheap it all was. My total was a little over $20 for a shared appetizer, one entire and one alcoholic beverage. Normally when I go out it's at least over $30 to $40 for all that! Not only were the prices great but the food was decent and the service was fast. Our group was seated in minutes and our waitress was very attentive and made sure all our food came out fast. The manager of this store is very upfront and he crashed out on my papa this is not ok and I will not be taking my kids to this place ever again. Also, he decided to yell at a table full of 2 year old kids because they did not know what bill they were on, which is extremely ridiculous and unmature and I will NOT be letting that slide. Hello everyone, I'm a young lady that recently had applied to this place, I had everything ready. The paperwork, my clothes, everything to be the perfect candidate. But you know where this place is located, just off a busy highway (which made me late); So I get there, I get sat. Not even one minute goes by a guy with tattoos came up to me and said "there's a 5 minute grace period for interviews and your 12 minute late" (the interview was for 3:30 and I came at 3:40. Only ten minutes). So I couldn't believe that, how can you say your hiring and push away the only candidate away and let alone never EVER tell them about the time policy. My husband and I had the 3 for Me $10.99 deal. I had the smash burger and he had the old Timer with cheese (no extra charge!) The burgers were fantastic! Big and greasy, the way we like! Lots of fresh toppings, too. I had the chili app and he did the bottomless chips & salsa. Their chips & salsa are seriously underrated. Really good! Service was great. She gave us all the time we needed, and didn't rush us one bit. I ordered a fruit tea, I think it was wildberry. I've never had a tea with fruit flavoring, but it tasted great! We ordered the bottomless chips & salsa as an appetizer, and I will say- they were amazing! Once we ordered, our food was out not too shortly after. I personally ordered the Just Bacon Burger, and it was AMAZING !! It was nice and juicy. It'd been awhile since I had a burger that wasn't from fast food, and let me tell you- this was a great burger for it. The fries I got with it were also amazing. My friend got herself a soup of sorts. I don't remember which one but I think it was a potato one? My friend said that, despite it not being huge, it was incredibly filling. She also stated that it tasted great. In terms of the general ambiance, it was a very cozy and nice place. Its clean, and felt very inviting! I definitely would've ordered dessert if I had time. There were some decent things about our experience, but it's still the worst experience I've ever had at a Chili's restaurant. Pros: I was able to add mushrooms and not add chicken to my Cajun pasta. They put the spices on the side, so I could make it to my liking. Cons: -The server didn't do much to fix the problems with our meals, as mentioned below. -They don't appear to be taking any precautions for COVID--even the manager wasn't wearing a mask! They also weren't attempting to separate patrons, even though they had the space to do so. -I got charged for the mushrooms to be added to my pasta, as well as the meat I didn't have on my pasta. -My pasta was lukewarm. -Two attempts at getting my husband's burger medium rare failed--and the first time, it was well done and charred. The second time it was medium well. -The service was slow, despite having very few customers. -We could hear people in the kitchen shouting at eat other. -The toilet in the women's restroom appeared to have blood on the outside of the toilet bowl. They have a new option for you to have your food delivered to your car vs going inside the restaurant & paying. The only thing is, you don't know where to go to pick it up. Was told they have a pickup location on the other side of the building. No signs telling us that when most pickup locations are close to the front entrance, not in the back. When I did get my food, I realized they missed an item & had to go inside the restaurant anyways... The food was VERY good. I got a rack of ribs & jalapeño/cheddar sausage. Both were tasty. Had a different dining companion than usual who had her heart set on going here. Certainly wouldn't be my first choice but as you know...women rule. Kitchen must have dropped the ball. Realized halfway through my meal that I was supposed to have fries with my food. Saw in a follow-up commercial that they had also neglected to give me the house pickles with my food. Our server, who was friendly enough (and good with the refills) also forgot to put in my dining companion's side dish. Had to get both of this sent out to the table after the food arrived. The "barbecue" (I had a smoked chicken) wasn't close to authentic BBQ. Lack of sauces killed it. The $15 price point for chicken, strips, corn, and fries also pales in comparison to real BBQ houses. I feel like Chili's is trying to shed their old image by trying to be "higher class". Unfortunately, the restaurant would need a remodel to do so...much of the sports bar atmosphere still exists. Thus far in my life, I have felt death was near twice: 1. When I had malaria, 2. When I ate at Chili's. Seriously, this place sucks. I had been on the road for five hours, sat for four hours at a gymnastics meet, then mistakenly thought - "Chili's is right next door to my hotel. This is better than driving again". Someone should have slapped me. Our party of three went in after 7:00 p.m., and were told our wait would be 15 - 20 minutes. I asked if we could wait at the bar, and was told there were no free tables, even though, indeed, there were empty tables. I asked if the solitary tables were reserved. They were not. Apparently, it takes three people at the 'hostess station' to inform possible patrons there will be a wait - one to state this, the other two to back up said statement by staring at you. While we waited, I observed there were three tables that were not yet cleaned off; had those been bussed, some of the people in line before us could have been seated. We finally got seated, and gingerly walked our way over a greasy faux brick floor that screamed broken hip, only to be met by a still wet booth. When asked for a towel, we were brought a handful of napkins; the hostess did apologize though. Our server was pleasant, which is the only reason I have generously given two stars to this hell hole. We ordered Awesome Blossom Petals, the only thing awesome about this was that no one dropped dead that evening, as you could easily wring the grease from these over breaded monstrosities. After this, it just went downhill - we waited twenty minutes for our food - when it finally came, it was COLD. Southern Burger - cold. Sirloin Steak - cold. Smokehouse Combo - warm. I kid - I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. An aside - the Sirloin Steak was listed as six ounce, and had I the foresight to bring my portable scale, I am sure it would have read THREE ounces. Our server stopped by twice during our period in this self inflicted wound. Later, as I lay in my hotel bed and wondered about the protocols followed when a patron dies in their room, I thought a good thing I should do with one of my nine lives would be to warn other unwary humans of this devils lair. Met a friend of mine staying in town at the Marriott next door otherwise I usually try to avoid the chain restaurants as often as possible, food was about as expected, nothing special but also not bad. So my wife and I thought we would give this place a try again. The menu seemed updated. We were taken to the table and we were so close to the kitchen that not only could we hear every word behind said but we could also see part of it. The staff in back was/is not professional and it was a major distraction to the meal. At one point I heard someone say that they needed stitches or something like that. The first 1/2 of my burger was good but the second was not the greatest. My wife didn't feel that great after she got home. She didn't finish her food either. Ah Chilis, the epitome of american mexican food. I normally don't write a yelp review on chain restaurants, because it really depends on the location, staff, etc. However, this chilis restaurant sent chills up my spine. First off, we had to wait for our main dishes for what seemed like forever, and then, when they actually came, everything was cold!! The presentation was purely mediocre but it's a chain restaurant you can't expect much. I ordered a grill combo thing with brisket and chicken tendies, it was definitely not worth the wait. The brisket tasted pre-made and the chicken tasted like a dried shoe bottom. In addition to the subpar food you get to hear some lady in the kitchen yelling at her one of the cooks as you eat!! 10/10 would not go again read more

Ordered to go. Ordered the Triple Dipper with the Southwest egg rolls, Bigmouth Bites, and chicken crispers. The Southwest egg rolls are basically just 2 egg rolls from a local Chinese restaurant. The sliders look like they were scraped off the side of the griddle, and had no onions or sauce on them. And the crispers tasted like they were microwaved 5 minutes before I came to pick them up. AND they forgot the sauce for the egg rolls. The restaurant was not busy enough to even justify the crappy presentation, let alone the half-assed product. FAIL! read more
