We came here for the nightlife and watched two bands. A Green Day tribute band and a Ramones tribute band. The drinks were cheap and they were cold. The setting was comfortable and they have a smoking patio for smokers. Being an ex smoker this is a great thing to have. The place does fill up quick and there wasn't much room To walk around but that's to be expected in a bar! Can't wait for the next time these bands put on a show we will return! read more

Ahh, Tailgators, what can I say. This is a very interesting place. They are trying for a Wrigleyville sports bar look but apparently gave up at some point when decorating. The bartenders were very nice. The drinks were exactly what you'd expect. The bathroom needs serious help. The live band was really good. The crowd was eclectic. I'd probably go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice for the night. read more

The place is a lot bigger then it looks, has your standard bar games, bowling, golf, pool and maybe darts? The band was okay but not great. The drinks were priced well, and they have a very large outdoor patio which is nice. The bathrooms are gross, the women's bathroom stall doesn't actually lock in any way shape or form. Don't know about other women but this is a problem for me. read more

After reading a few of the other reviews I am guessing Tailgators did a bit of remodeling. I stopped in here with a friend as we were looking for a local dive bar. It was clean and not shabby at all. We even commented it wasn't dive bar enough for us. But it was close to the hotel, the beer selection was limited but excellent, the bartenders were friendly and the other patrons were having a good time. So we stayed. My friend drinks Miller Lite, but I had some good brews. An excellent locally made lager, a very good vanilla porter from Breckenridge and topped the night off with Guinness. I don't remember the condition of the restroom but if it was very bad I would have noticed. read more

A nice sized bar with a band on the weekends. Good sevice and great prices. ALSO HAS GUINESS ON TAP!!! That was the selling point for me. Its not usually insanley crowded so makes for a nice place to hang out with some friends and watch the game. Also has a nice deck off the back for drinking outside on nice days. read more

Everyone is always very friendly. Great specials throughout the week, with live music on weekends! One of my favorite places to go.

The two previous reviews are spot on, the bartenders are good they are very attentive but they need to remodel or do something in here it's kind of dark and not very easy on the eyes, its becoming a dive bar. read more

Complete dive. The only reason that it doesn't get one star is that it isn't trying to be any more than that. Bathrooms are shameful, which is an essential if you want to be a dive bar. Same with horrible lighting (thankfully), sticky tables, boarded over windows, and busted ceiling tiles. The good ....... beer was really cold and they had decent selection of tap beers... as long as you don't mind drinking them out of a chipped glass. Great place to go during the day if you want to have a few drinks and a private conversation without fear of running into your friends. read more
