We are a family of six adults. We usually arrive during a weekday afternoon and are always seated immediately. The food rates from very good to amazing (try the lobster roll appetizer - 4 mini rolls stuffed with real lobster and plenty of it). The burgers are huge and they dont skimp on the toppings. Ate here on a late Friday afternoon with my husband and the in-laws. We loved the ambiance. Our server was not the best, and the bartender was eating behind the bar. The bruschetta salad was really good, but the wings were nothing big to write home about. My husband loved his chicken sandwich and the pork belly appetizer is worth driving out of your way for. Ambiance: terrible. You could not be heard unless you were shouting. The music plays at such a high volume you cannot hear the hostess when arriving. Add some parents with screaming kids and everyone trying to talk loud enough to be heard. Great time. NOT. Service: poor. Don't wait an hour after ordering to tell me you need to serve baseball teams on the patio and after 45 plus minutes, I need to continue to wait for my order. First time visiting. This place is not a good place to meet friends and talk. It was so loud that we could not hear each other. 6 seniors were sat at a skinny table with bar stools. Not ideal. Server was attentive enough, but in a loud environment she should have walked around the table to take orders, especially for seniors with hearing issues. Waitress had been on shift since 11 am. Food took close to 45 minutes to arrive, and some of the dishes were tepid. The food was also delivered to the top of the table and pass it down. I said she should walk around, and she finally did deliver to individuals. We all ordered different things. Nothing was a wow. Everyone reported their food as either OK or not good. Do not order the prime rib. It was probably the worst of all the dishes. Their mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor, not even salt. A fun venue that's become a regular haunt for my friends and I. It first caught our interest for the large selection of craft beers on tap....over 100, and a lot of them from local breweries. However, we soon discovered that they were the tip of the iceberg. The food menu has a large selection with salads, sandwiches, nachos, Mac and cheese to name a few. The key is everything has a bit of a twist and is customizable. The staff is very friendly but like most places these days due to staffing issues, attententive but sometimes very busy. This is not a negative statement towards the staff, it's a fact of covid that most restaurants are facing especially in very popular spots which this is. The venue is clean, friendly and inviting with a large patio out back that offers privacy since it's not directly on a street. Parking can be trying at times since the private parking lot is small. A big draw here is their special events. Bingo, trivia, and music are offered with specials for big sporting events. If you haven't been, give it a try! read more

Stopped for Sunday funday - I went for a mock tail mojito as I am doing dry January and they gladly accompanied me! The hubs had over 100 beers on draft to pick from and went with Big Grove (of course lol). We did not eat today, but the menu looked delish! Atmosphere is fun, creative, and clean. Visited today with friends after seeing an article in the Gazette. Nice place & atmosphere. Have a ton of options on tap & great food menu. I had a cider flight which I loved. Hubby had lots of diff beers which he enjoyed as well. We ordered apps of spicy cheeseballs, pork belly, southwest egg rolls and brisket nachos. We were staying in the neighborhood and I had looked up restaurants to go to and found this one. My boyfriend is a sucker for nachos so when I glanced at the menu I knew we should try it. Our waitress gave us a QR code to list the 108 beers on tap. I'm a hard cider gal and from the west side of Iowa. I went with Sacrilegious Cider. He started with Bikini Bottom Pineapple beer(Five Cities Brewing). Both arrived at subpar timing(15min) at a warmer temp than probably should be served. The drinks were still good. Onion Tanglers for starters. Onion strings with a bloomin' sauce. So good. Sauce with a titch spice. Took awhile for the waitress to come take our main order but we were not in a rush and got our appi at good time. Boyfriend ordered Bigger Mac Attack Nachos! Oh yeah! Great choice! Layered throughout the chips with meat, lettuce, regular queso, special sauce and all other nacho toppings. Yummo! I went with Traditional tacos with regular beef. These were delicious as well! The shell is a soft shell that is slightly crisped on a flattop or griddle. Better than a regular hard shell taco. Full of seasoned, melt in your mouth beef and all the toppings. Side I ordered was rosemary fries. Ya'll would've been good with snacking on the plate of nachos and the 2 tacos served. We did order another round- Ode Coconut Cake (Sacrilegious Cider) and If You Fruit it, it Will Come (7 Hills Brewery). Great beer! What was strange was that they charge a 4% "Convenience Fee"(??) and their check states if you pay cash it is not applied. I paid cash but did not get the 4% discount. Went in last night. We got appetizers and food. The egg rolls were good . The the fries could have used a bit more seasoning and fried a little longer. Our apps came out before our drinks. Seemed the bar held up the most of the experience. I ordered a cranberry champagne drink which was as pictured small I'd suggest up grading into bigger tulip champagne flutes. I got a spicy Cobb salad it was also lacking seasoning. The atmosphere is great it's big and brought the building back to life. I will try here again in a couple of months since it's new. read more

The food was great however they really screwed up my order. The brisket burger was fantastic. Also had the brisket And pulled pork nachos very good. My wife and I tried this place for the first time last week, based on many positive reviews. The food was very good. My wife had the nachos and I had a Philly cheese steak. The service was friendly and pleasant but could have been more attentive. The atmosphere was loud, and it was after a weekday lunch, so it was loud from the music not people. Made it hard to have a conversation. When the bill was presented it was explained to me that a "new" policy had recently taken effect to add a 4% surcharge to any bill paying with a debit/credit card. This is an important issue to me. Surcharges are not cool, bottom line. To make it worse there was NO warning. No sign on the door. No notice on the menu. No mention by the server when we ordered. Just sprung on us when everything was over and I had no choice (I had some cash on me but not enough). I'm sorry, that is grossly disrespectful to the customer. Funny thing is when the bill was delivered my wife and I were discussing what we'd have next time we came, then as we were walking out the door we were discussing why we'd never come back. We had a great dinner and waitress, she had brunette hair up in a bun with a headband. We decided to stay and play one more round of bingo after we had cashed out and ended up winning a round of shots for my guy and me! They gave us a bottle opener and told us to take it to the bar for our shots. I waited at the bar and told the bartender whenever she had time we'd like to get our prize. She proceeded to tell me we needed to order them through our server. I told her we already cashed out and they told us to get them at the bar. She then said our server should be back to us. As a fellow industry person I didn't understand why the bartender wouldn't of just helped us especially when the people hosting bingo told us to take it to the bar. She had blonde curly hair, shorter and was not friendly. My boyfriend ended up going up to get them seeing how upset I was and she barely poured anything in the glass for him. Maybe a one count because she was despiting me. Pretty upsetting to a great night we were having. If we are suppose to order them through our server even though the people hosting told us to take it to the bar then maybe everyone there needs to be clear on what is going on.
