I have been to the BTH when it was at Lindale mall across town and that was a great restaurant before it closed. This one is almost as good. The noise level was loud and it was crowded at dinner time but we didn't have to wait for a seat for two. The food was good enough that we would come back but nothing spectacular. I had the regular fries with my burger but next time I may try the seasonings that are available. The strawberry malt was delicious! They were training a new chef so the pulled pork was missing the pickles, they told us it would come out separately but never did. The manager was notified and gave us a un asked for discount due to the mistake. Nice touch. This is a clean friendly place that we would come back to if in the area. read more

While visiting Iowa I found this gem and was pleasantly surprised. The bar looks nice with a large selection of drinks. The menu had a good variety of food and we all loved there fries. Great place! I came here on a Wednesday evening and ordered wing. The wings were good but I wished they had a super hot sauce. Service was great! Our waiter took great care of our table and made sure we were ok. The ambiance is more of a family atmosphere and I saw people of all ages. With that being said, unfortunately I didn't try the beer. read more

I went in late afternoon, pretty slow... and until a customer next to me asked for something at the bar I was not greeted... the bartender was much better after that but first impression, and maybe she was just having an off day. My margarita was good. Not the best and not the worst... I didn't notice any sweet heat flavor from the hot honey- but it was strong. My burger was delicious. I was between this one and the swicy. They loaded it with peppers and that made my day. The sweet potato fries however were very disappointing...extremely soggy- would not suggest. The onion rings someone got next to me looked way superior. As for the restaurant itself the atmosphere was great and it seemed really clean. I'm not one to leave reviews, but we just moved here last week and have already been in 2x now. Kylee has been our server both times and she is absolutely amazing. I had a good time at Boulder Tap House and my lunch was great. The restaurant has large, deep booths, high top tables, and a very large bar for seating. There are TV's everywhere but, from what I can tell, they do not have the sound on (just overhead music) and that is very nice. It is a lot less overwhelming to not hear the sound of multiple TV's going at the same time. We got the cheese curds as an appetizer, and they were freshly made and had a delicious sauce to go with them. I was surprised how they were different than the usual small curds, but bigger squares of cheese that were filling. I got the bacon, chicken, avocado salad. It was wonderful and they did NOT skimp on the toppings. It also came with a breadstick that was baked perfectly and was a nice addition to the salad. My aunt ordered the brown sugar cheddar burger with a cup of noodle soup. She really enjoyed both and I think she was planning on eating just half the burger, but liked it so much that she ate it all! Our server was very nice and we were told more than once to take our time eating and catching up, which was really nice. I just wish that during (and even after) our meal our server would have come by a couple more times to refill our waters and make sure we had every thing we needed. Cheese curds - awes some best thing on the menu as far as I'm concerned. The boneless wings are also really good. Always a pleasant place to eat, not so loud that you can't talk to your party. For some reason I didn't care for their smash burger but my friend thought hers was very good. read more

The manager Barry needs to do his job, allegedly my order had waited for 45 minutes under a hot lamp and he sent it out, take charge of the kitchen because they seem lazy, awful food awful service, awful company. Food was dry and gross. read more

Man I feel like they threw him in on day one unprepared. No clue how long he's been working there. Order our drinks, I asked for a sweet tea, friend ordered a Pepsi. He brings out an unsweetened tea and sweet n low packets. IMO that's not sweet tea. I drank it, all good! They were out of Pepsi. Sounds good. Ordered something different. But like let me know He was dope and put in our babies order ahead of ours while we were still deciding. So we finally decide what to get, and they're out of the only appetizer that sounded good. This is the third time I've been here, I went to the one at lindale and now the one on the southwest side. Each time I have been there the service is horrible. Our waitress came three times, to get our drinks, take order and to give us our bill! We got our food and needed refills and never got them, we ate our whole meal choking down our food because our waitress was too busy talking. We were only visiting for the weekend for a wedding and went to this location 2 days in a row since it was right by our hotel and it was great! It just opened this week so they're still working out some bumps but you can tell everyone is so kind and hard-working. The managers were so lovely and helpful. And the food was AWESOME. We got the hot honey chicken sandwich and the surf and turf burger and they were delicious. And I wasn't expecting anything special from the Oreo shake from a tap house but wow! Best shake ever! We went to tryout the new location on Saturday evening. The place was full and so we waited for 45 minutes to be seated. The noise level was very loud I had to repeat my name to her several times and she still got it wrong. The waitress was good but being so loud we had to repeat ourselves 3 times for her to get the order correct. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and looked appealing. My wife and I ordered fried pickles and they were some of the best we've had. They were out of soup and they were out of blue cheese dressing so I settled for "tots" and ranch dressing. The burgers we ordered were very good and cooked correctly. The tots came out and looked to be hush puppies, they were highly over seasoned and very over cooked ( dark brown)! One bite and I passed. I think it would be a good place if they did some sound dampening, polished cement floors with loud music and everyone trying to talk over the music was just too much. We're only going to do takeout until they do something about the sound level. Was not a relaxing evening, several tables around us had the same concerns, hard not to hear their comments when they were talking that loud. read more
