The employee clearly saw me but chose to continue socializing with a friend instead of helping a paying customer. During that time, another customer walked in and was ignored as well. Only after the friend left did the employee begin working, but instead of taking my order, he started making a smoothie while continuing to ignore both of us. After waiting long enough, I finally spoke up and asked if someone could help me. Rather than apologizing, the response was essentially that they hadn't helped me because I "didn't ask." Customers shouldn't have to interrupt employees to receive basic service. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have made all the difference. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. Customer service reflects a business's culture, and this experience left a very negative impression. I hope management takes customer service more seriously so others don't have the same experience.
