A spiedie, (pronounced "speedy", ) famous in Binghamton, is simply a marinated chicken sandwich on a roll. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. I ordered a 6 inch sandwich. They have several different styles, but I simply went with the original. Oh, my, I can see why this sandwich has such a following. The sesame seed roll was tender, and oh the chicken... it was chock full of chicken, It was moist, it was tender, and yes, it was marinated very well. I don't know what they use, but it was just absolutely an amazing sandwich. A simple 6 inch sandwich, and I was stuffed. A sandwich and a soda, and I was 10 bucks and change out the door. The 12 inch original my husband and I were sharing was super saturated. Unfortunately one of the chunks of chicken was served raw in the middle and I ate a bite out of it before I noticed the raw inside. I took the piece to the employee working the to go counter and she offered to remake our order and refunded by husband's card. I appreciate the business making it right. Hopefully our next trip will be a more positive experience. However overall the two stops were not bad, even with undercooked chicken.

Served in the perfect glass, the Collins was definitely a balance of flavors. Since the vodka rigatoni is what peaked my curiosity, that is what I ordered. It was phenomenal. I decided to go with the "old-school" version at the encouragement of my server, which included Cayenne pepper. It came out perfectly spiced and piping hot.
