What I really loved was the balance of all the ingredients together, resulting in a taste of cream cheese, sautéed jalapeños, crispy onions, hot honey, peppered bacon, and Howdy Sauce in every bite. I also got the Pennywise Fries, which I was skeptical about but wanted to give a shot anyway. I was gobsmacked. Queso on fries can be a challenge to the novice, but the expertly cooked cheese was just the right consistency... not too thick and not too runny. I had cheese curds (different) which were good, and the onion rings were OK, but nothing notable. As far as experience goes though, the place was impeccably clean, and I had a nice conversation with the guy at the counter who had some recommendations for my first visit, which I asked for (he's the one who recommended the cheese curds). It was probably the most comfortable, tidy, and squared away fast food joint I'd ever been in. Anyway, these guys are worth a try. Perhaps it will hit the bullseye for you.
