I am a big fan of repurposing older establishments and giving them new life. This location was originally built in the late 50''s-early 60's and I believe it was a Sinclair Station. Big Daddy's is the concept of the well established restauranteur family Golden who own and operate Mermaid's, TJ's, and several other brands in NWA. The thing I like about Big Daddy's is that they kept it simple... burgers, fries, rings, and shakes. Pros: The smash burgers are amazing and the fries are some of the best I've had in the area. I am holding judgement on the rings until I have tried them so yes I plan to visit again). Cons: while I gave up soda's, all are served by the can. If you are wanting limitless refills then I hope you like sweet tea. While it doesn't affect me, this could be a bit off-putting to parishioners. Also, seating on the inside is minimal and tight, and you almost feel like you're sitting on top of someone when you're dining. Exterior seating is more available but is picnic tables, you are also exposed to traffic on Nelson Hackett (formerly Archibald Yell) Blvd. And if the weather is not optimal you will be exposed to the elements. That being said this is generally the case with converting these old stations. At the end of the day, no matter where your sitting, your going to be eating one of the best burgers that Fayetteville Arkansas has to offer, prepared by people who have a passion for serving great food. If you're in Fayetteville it is worth your time to stop in and have a great burger, you won't be disappointed!
