Favorite place In Bentonville for a good burger and fries every time! It never misses

Heard about the burgers here and had to give it a try. I biked over and found the trailer with a little lunch rush line, but it moved quickly. I ordered the burger and fries with a drink. I eat mine plain but they have quite the selection of burgers and fries/ring options. The drinks are in a fridge with normal selection of sodas and teas along with bottled water. The price seemed fair and I was able to use Apple Pay off my phone. I was given a beeper and found a table behind the trailer. I wish there was a little shade over the tables but nonetheless it was a pleasant day so no worries. My pager went off and I got my food freshly made and hot. The fries were good. They had a little batter to them and they were good portion size. The burger, however was a little disappointing. It seemed to be a patty premade almost frozen style. I wish they would make 1/2 pound burgers with fresh meat and hand make the patties but that's not the case. After eating lunch I decided I would not go back until they improve burger quality. read more

SLOWWWWWWW, seem to cater to order ahead customers. We waited for 32 mins for two cheese burgers and two fries while takeout orders came and went. The girl at the counter was not very pleasant. I was in town to deliver training to our local office and one of my colleagues recommended I stop at The Witching Hour for the best burger in town. "What a bold statement," I thought. So in the interest of evaluating the hype, I ordered some via UberEats and it did not disappoint. First off, thanks to the Uber driver who got the burger and fries to my hotel while the food was still hot and the sodas were still cold. I was able to enjoy the juicy and flavorful King of the Monsters burger in all its 1/2 lb glory! The jalapeños were sautéed in just the right amount so that the heat was still there, but the flavor wasn't overwhelming. What I really loved was the balance of all the ingredients together, resulting in a taste of cream cheese, sautéed jalapeños, crispy onions, hot honey, peppered bacon, and Howdy Sauce in every bite. I also got the Pennywise Fries, which I was skeptical about but wanted to give a shot anyway. I was gobsmacked. Queso on fries can be a challenge to the novice, but the expertly cooked cheese was just the right consistency... not too thick and not too runny. Yelp and anyone we asked in town said this was the burger place. It was a decent burger but definitely not near the top of the list. The fries appear to be handcut and were very good. If I came back, I think I'd try some other spots before returning here for a burger. read more

So I have been reading reviews and heard nothing other than positive things about the food truck at the corner of 8th and A. Dropped by and grabbed a burger to go. Fries were fresh and hot. And heavily seasoned. The burger looked great! The clown sauce tasty. The burger stamp was impressive. The bun was dry, the burger appears to be a frozen burger patty. It was chewy and tough. Frankly for the price. I was not impressed. They great you quickly, take your order and give you a buzzer. They have a sign telling you that the wait was 20-25 minutes. It is a warm wait. read more

This place has become a fast favorite for my family. The burgers are consistently delicious as are their salt & pepper french fries that come with them! We've tried almost everything on their menu and haven't found anything that I wouldn't recommend. For the kids I'd recommend the Good Guy Burger though, nice and simple if you have picky kiddos! And if you like a bit of spice the Ghost Face is really good as is the King of Monsters. The tables are nice if you want to eat there and their pickup is very organized and easy! The stickers and candy that come with each order are a fun bonus, too! read more

This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Their fries are beer battered and ultra crispy (and soft on the inside). Both the burger and fries don't need sauce....and I love sauce with everything so this is WILD! I got the ghost pepper bbq, one in our party got the candy man, another got the tar man, and and my partner got a cheese one. We all agreed this was a top 10 burger experience. 10000% coming back every time we are in Arkansas. It's not even negotiable. It's so good. Also it's a good truck so N/A for service and ambiance. Have been a few times but haven't reviewed. As always, the burger and fries were really good. This time I tried The Candyman with no onions (just don't like onions). As usual very good. Only improvement I could offer would be just a touch more of the sauce. Next time, if I can remember, I'll ask for a touch more sauce. If you like a messy hamburger they do offer Dipping Sauces so it looks like you can order more. Prices aren't listed. The fries are great! Cooked to perfection, didn't get a single burnt to a crisp frie as I normally do at other places. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Not use to having pepper on my fries but it works! The Witching Hour has been my go-to for burgers since moving to Bentonville. This town has its fair share of overpriced "gourmet burgers" and middling fast food burgers, and TWH has them all beat with their classic and creative offerings. I am a burger purist, so I always go with the classic burger (typical fixings, cheese, onion, lettuce, and pickle) and either the onion rings or fries with their very herby, homemade ranch. The onion rings are super crispy and survive the ten-minute drive home, and I enjoy the coarse, cracked pepper on the fries. I think the only item I didn't love was the cheese curds, which were a little too salty (still ate them though). Regardless, portions are always generous, and I like the fun touch of them throwing in candy and stickers referencing horror films in my takeout bag. read more

Captain Howdy burger was pretty good. No complaints there. Mac was okay. It was just really generic. Cheese curds had good flavor, but the cheese had a bit of a rubbery texture. And it was just a small bag of them. Absolutely not worth 10 bucks. Redrum cake was great. It was sweet and spongy, in a good way. Sauces were delicious - I got the Candy BBQ and Spicy Honey Garlic. I love a good horror theme and this place CRUSHES IT. It's such a cute little trailer on the side of the road but man do they pack it with tchotchkes. They also gave us stickers with our order which is rad and now I have a sick Carrie sticker for my water bottle. I wanted to try everything on the menu but I decided to get the Chicago mothman since I was craving a Chicago dog. It does the Chicago dog proud, the peppers were suuuuper spicy which was interesting on a hot day but overall really good. The fries were also on point, super hot and fresh. After a full day of travel to Bentonville, I was exhausted and famished. I needed something substantial to satiate my hunger. After debating on going out or order in, delivery sounded like the best option and I found The Witching Hour a food truck that made massive burgers with catchy names. I ordered the Salems Clot a full pound of beef, 8 slices of peppered bacon, and 4 types of cheese. The verdict! BANGIN! The burger was delicious, massive, and absolutely satiating. I kept hearing so much hype about this truck, but left here feeling 'eh' Although the lettuce wrap fell apart, I had no problem eating it with a fork and knife, the flavors were good and the howdy sauce was yummy. The fries were a major disappointment to me. Heavy on the pepper, light on the salt, and they are battered fries. I just prefer hand cut. The flavor profile was excellent with salty and sweet crisscrossing the beef patty. The French fries were excellent with a perfect match of crisp and salt. Grabbed lunch at The Witching Hour for our first stop in Bentonville. First, I love all of the horror decor around the trailer! They have a strong follow through with their horror theme. We ordered at the counter and then sat in our car to wait, as it was freezing cold. They give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. They have picnic tables behind their trailer, and if it would have been nicer, we would have eaten there. We got the shape with fries and fried mushrooms and everything was delish! The burger was cooked perfectly and it had perfectly cooked bacon as well. The mushrooms are thickly breaded and fried. Would definitely recommend if you are a burger fan! This food truck has so much character, service is especially kind and patient with questions / recommendations (shared a sample pickle slice), and the food is delicious. Kept my first meal here simple (Witching Hour burger with pepper-jack cheese and mac on the side). Straightforward but high-quality--the toasted bun and patty were perfect. I'm already making a list of the next orders: The Surfer Boy Burger, The Candyman, Texas Coleslaw Massacre... We got burgers, sides, dessert in about 10min. for three people--chatted with co-owner Tory just before a few more people came. Everyone got their food pretty quickly. I love horror AND fries, so this one is an easy five star rating for me - here on a blustery Friday night recently and really enjoyed our meal. We stopped by on a Friday evening. There is plenty of parking near the truck and there is some outdoor seating in the back. Due to the bad weather, we had food in our car. The food truck is horror themed and their menu is also designed that way. Service was great and quick. We tried King of the Monsters and Ghostface pepper burger (with turkey patty). The patties were well cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Both the burgers were very put together with a mix of sweet and spicy flavors. I was surprised how well honey and bacon complement each other in a burger. Fries were good but little on the greasy side. Overall, a great place to stop by for killer burgers.
