I had been craving baba ghanoush and a good mezze plate, and Toot Beirut absolutely delivered. We ordered the combo plate, which included falafel that was crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside, served hot from the fryer. The baba ghanoush had that perfect smoky flavor, and the hummus reminded me why homemade is always better than store-bought. The grape leaves on a bed of labneh, warm fresh pita, and the garnish of arugula, pickles, and tomatoes brought everything together beautifully.
