Company is responsive; however they came out to replace the propane tanks that fuel our pool heater…read moreand after install they left the propane tanks in the on position while the pool equipment was running. This caused the heater to kick on and run for approximately 18 hours and empty at least one of the tanks prior to my first intentional use. When I called to discuss this issue, they informed me they always leave propane tanks in the on position (even if they were off upon their arrival) and it is not their responsibility to understand the downstream impacts of leaving the tanks open. I asked what they would do to make it right and they said they had no responsibility and that the wasted propane was my fault. I have never had a propane service leave the tanks open with no regard to the downstream setup of what the propane was being used for. That doesn't seem safe or responsible especially if the tanks were closed when the technician arrived. I do not recommend using this company.

Nearly a month ago I had reason to contact my propane supplier re: a possible leak. Several days…read morelater I was checked by a technician with faulty equipment. They recommended a plumber who delivered a scenario (verbally) that was out of sight (financially) and not in the least practical. I then contacted AmeriGas and spent nearly four hours on the phone attempting to get an appointment. This increased to over five hours over the next ten days and I never did get anyone out to the house. Finally, I called Pacific Coast Propane and talked with Tina, appointment set, the next day Joaquín the technician was there early, diagnosed the problem and explained the possible solutions. The fix was agreed on and several days later he was here, fixed the problem which required moving the tank. Several days later Aaron called to let me know he was enroute to fill the tank. Five minutes later he was there and did his thing, Now, why am I responding to this contact? Peoria Az. may be many things, but good timely service is not one of them. Tina , Joaquin and Aaron are three exceptional employees, They were courteous, polite, friendly, open when describing the concerns I had and the various methods of fixing the problem. In these days of the SCAM it almost sounded to good to be true. These three individuals in every way are outstanding representatives of your company. They are obviously members of a close team that knows how to treat potential and now permanent customers. OH! AmeriGas? The day after Aaron filled the tank I received a phone message to call about an appointment, only took them three weeks!

Exchanges always short you and are $$$. Off to Yelp find a new company. I called up Acorn and though it's a little bit of a drive for me, the price and their availability couldn't be beat. Enter from the drive on the south. Otherwise you're bucking traffic on the lot. You've gained a permanent customer! Well for as long as you're in business! :)

Finally as I was ready to leave the young man who I assumed worked there came out of the back room with what appeared to be his girlfriend who was quite inebriated. He didn't seem to be but he was definitely bored with helping me as he kept yawning and looking down while mumbling his rehearsed step by step of the process. After what seemed to be forever I told him I would just get a uhaul from a different vendor to which he responded with some choice words that I would only hear at a hockey game maybe. I'm sure he was just having a bad day, but he didn't have to ruin my day too. I will never use UHaul again, my 3 year old daughter asked me what that word meant that the sad man said I just told her to pray for him.
