This is our go-to place for bundles of wood. Prices have increased a bit but that's expected these days. Service is always top notch here and although we usually only come for wood, they also offer propane, BBQing products and spices and sauces, etc. The wood bundle we got was juniper, which has a pleasant smell and we find it isn't as smoky as other woods. They also offer other kinds of wood including bundles for those who have the outside pizza ovens. read more

I love this place. First off, it's less convenient than just exchanging my propane tank at some rando place closer to my house, but I know that I'm only paying for the propane that I need. Second, they have an awesome selection of grill accessories that I never realized I wanted! And third, they're always super friendly. Not only the best place to get propane but best place for a pellet smoker. Did a lot of research and purchased the Green Mountain Daniel Boone grill with rotisserie and pizza oven attachment. Made wings, Tri-Tip and today baby back ribs. Been grilling for years and first time smokin. Should have never waited!!! They have all the flavor wood pellets and stuff you need. Expensive. Their firewood bundles for $17.95 are small and don't include kindling. Not worth the drive. Even though they say it's "2-3 hour burn" firewood the bundle doesn't include many sticks. Better off with 3 bags of gas station wood. Also everything else they sell is overpriced. $1k "on sale" small (20lb propane tank-fired) fire tables, grills etc. Charging premiums here. read more

This place really has a great selection of stuff. It is a specialty shop with many different varieties of barbecues from the most basic to the most elaborate. They also carry all different kinds of wood chips and charcoal and different kinds of cooking supplies and the service is very friendly. read more

I concur this place sucks! Avoid if you want to save money! They are always the most expensive propane in town!

Disappointed. I purchased two bundles of pizza oven wood, mesquite and oak about 45 days ago. The mesquite was great but the oak had been submerged in water or something else... The oak burned but with a toxic smell and a massive amount of black smoke. I immediately began to remove the wood from the pizza oven and the smell was toxic. Had a nasty moldy smell to it. The black smoke discolored the oven face and the chimney. Switched to mesquite, no issues. Hot burn, very little smoke, perfect. Upon mentioning this to Brooksies on Saturday, I was told this cannot happen and the first time they heard about it. I still have the remainder of the bundle and I probably should drop it by, but why? I did purchase 2 bundles of mesquite and I got a "sorry"... They could care less or bother no ask a couple follow up questions. Probably my last purchase from these guys. As a past customer that has bought Green Eggs, a pizza oven and numerous BBQ accessories, I will move on. read more

We had a propane fire pit installed a little over a year ago and have had issues with getting it to light the entire time. We had the installer out several times and they guessed at solutions (apparently they had only installed a handful of propane fire pits, but that's a story for another review). We really felt the issue was with the regulator. We stopped into Brooksies and they were very helpful. They said it sounded like the regulator had basically gotten stuck. They helped us find the correct part and gave us better instructions on how to light the pit as well. I'm happy to say that we can now enjoy our firepit. read more

I had a wonderful experience going to brooksies for the first time yesterday. Everyone was above and beyond friendly I will definitely be using them from here on out. I want to come back and look at the grill accessories but for this time I needed my propane tank filled and some firewood. I laugh at the guy who gave them a bad review based off their coffee.....clearly offended by life because these guys are fantastic! read more

I am terribly disappointed in this place. I go out of my way to stop in for wood chunks for BBQ, today I walk over to check out the sauces and see a shelf dedicated to WAKE THE F@#$ UP coffee. Why would a business like this take the chance of offending customers for a product like this? No one is going to go to Brooksie's for coffee but many people coming in don't want to this juvenile profanity in a propane and BBQ shop. Back to BBQs Galore for me. read more

I have left a 5 star review of Brooksie's in the past but we all know some places change over time. I am glad to report Brooksie's has not . I pull up within a few feet of the propane pumps ( two bottles are large so not carrying them a mile is great) and get 4 of my bottles filled while I am inside getting expert advice on RV gas pipe fitting. all 3 employees were very nice, one may have even been the Owner? ) thanks Scott Z read more

Bought a new Propane tank from them as a second for my new grill. The valve was sketchy and constantly turned off by itself. I brought it back and they said it was the new safety feature. Tried it again for 2 weeks, never did work properly. I brought it back and they told me to go to Home Depot and swap it there. Now, I will drive the extra few miles and always go to Home Depot. The Home Depot tank works great!! read more

Had several cylinders filled and they showed me that one was out of date. The guys took great care of me and set me up with a new cylinder and sent me on my way.
