I found Pacific Coast Propane on Yelp after using another service for six months and needing emergency service. Our water heater stopped working and we realized that we ran out of our underground propane gas. The company we had been using told us they would have to fill and red tag our tank the next day and then come back again the following day for a service call. Since they could not help us and we would be out of gas for two days, I called Pacific Coast and they were able to come out the next day to do both tasks. Tina, who answered the phone, was extremely pleasant and helpful and made sure we were scheduled asap. I was so thankful she understood our need for urgency. I was very impressed with Mike, who arrived first thing in the morning for our service check. He was extremely informative and took the time to ensure all of our questions were answered. After finding no leaks, we were told the gas fill would arrive later that day and within hours our tank was filled as promised. It is rare that you find a company that seems to hit the mark on every level but this company did just that and I am so thankful for their exemplary service during a stressful time. read more

We called late last week looking for the best price per gallon for our underground propane tank. We had used a big national company with the initials of SP in the past but found them to be extremely expensive. I called and spoke to Tina. Super nice, informative and called back promptly. Pacific Coast Propane did not charge us to test our tank or a trip charge, where the other company charged for each of those services. Not only did Pacific Propane have the best price per gallon, and those other charges were free, but 3 working days later I had both a tested and approved tank and a complete refill. I told my neighbors, and I know at least one for sure has already had a similar experience. They also provided a special gauge at no charge, to tell them when we are getting low to arrange for a refill. They have promised to call first, to give me an opportunity to check local prices, knowing full well they are extremely competitive, if not the lowest. I used to price shop for propane, but a couple of years ago found PCP and have been happy with their service. We had one incident early on with a truck that leaked oil on our pavers, but they were receptive and we haven't had a problem since. When I call, I get a person who has always been friendly and eager to make sure we get on the route when we need it. It's a great company to work with. read more

If you want gas service, stop using anyone else and contact Pacific Coast Propane in Phoenix. Another vendor of nationwide status could not tell me when my pre-ordered refill would be accomplished. Just an estimate of "sometime in the next 3 weeks". This type of behavior on their part occurred several time over the past several years and led to me finally changing vendors. Service is amazing. I called for a refill at my home and they were there within 30 minutes the same day. There are some tanks we have far back in the yard that are difficult to get to but Gilbert figured out a way to reach them over the fence. LISA was so extremely rude to my mother who has dementia ,we had the call on speaker phone and I heard it all and after that phone call I called back And she was rude to me too- Extremely !!!! !!! When we first moved into our house we had a gas leak. It was winter and we had little ones. It was a mess with a bad tanks (we have a house and a casita) and a bad water heater. I tried to find someone to help us but kept being pushed off. Nobody cared that we needed help. When I called Pacific Coast Propane, they swooped in like angles and saved us. Working with our construction people often late into the night in the cold to set us up with tanks that worked and were safe then filled them up so we could stay warm and have hot showers. They are not only a reliable service but they honestly care about the people they serve. Last night, I realized the propane tank (which fuels our home) was down to almost 5%. In a panic, I called our usual propane company. Their local offices were closed due to the pandemic. I started a very panicked search in an effort to hopefully find a company that delivered propane to residential homes 24/7. I'm really not one to write reviews, but this has to be heard: After stumbling upon Pacific Coast Propane's information and positive Yelp reviews, I was ecstatic & hopeful I'd be able to find a company that could help us. At 8:45pm last night, I contacted their 1-800-307-0058 phone number. A man with a slight accent answered the phone. I explained our situation & he told me he would page the person on call. I asked how soon I would hear back from someone. I was told, "They will call you back soon. Definitely tonight." I waited up until 3am this morning & never got any calls back from this company. I've turned off the gas to our home, in an effort to not completely run our tank dry, so cooking & showering have now been put on hold. At 9am today, I begin trying to reach someone at this company again. 1st call: Man answers the phone (sounds very similar to same person I had talked to last night). He tells me he will page the person on call & they'll get right back to me. If they don't call me back within 10-15 minutes, I can call him back. 2nd call, 15 min later: Phone rings several times & then gets redirected to some random voice mail that doesn't even specify Pacific Coast Propane. 3rd call: I decided to block my phone number and see if I could get that same guy to answer the phone if he didn't know it was me calling back. And, surprise, surprise.... He does! He irritatingly says, "They didn't call you back yet?" "No", I say. I will page them again and they'll definitely call you right back. Now, it's about 11am. I have yet to hear back from anyone at Pacific Coast Propane. I was really, really excited & hopeful about this company. Sadly, however, after all this runaround, I'm done. In the process of waiting for them to call me back, I've contacted another company. They will be here by 1pm today & will have my business going forward. read more

Fantastic team of people working this company! We were completely out of propane for our house and needed someone to come asap. The company we had been using didn't care and were 5 days out before they would "be back in our area". PCP made the effort to go out of their way and get to us THE SAME DAY! What an amazing company with such amazing customer service. After getting the run around with another propane company (look for my review on their page) I contacted Pacific Coast Propane. I was able to speak with a local representative and then they had their service manager call me directly. The manager was driving to Las Vegas and pulled over to speak with me about my propane delivery needs. I explained that i had waited 10 days for a delivery from my old propane company and was down to just 3% propane. I needed to get them to inspect and delivery as soon as they possibly could. This was on a Thursday afternoon at 4pm. He asked if Friday around 8-9am would work for the inspection and then they would schedule the propane fill. They arrived just before 9am and the technician not only inspected my in-ground tank, but they had the propane truck there too and they filled it all right then! What a difference to have local people you can talk to and people that understand great customer service! No more call centers in a foreign country for me! I will use Pacific Coast Propane for years to come and will tell all of my other friends on propane the same!! Thank you to all those involved and especially Mike. My folks have 2 100 gallon tanks for their house that both ran out. They just moved in a year ago so we didn't know who to call since previous company was bought out and the new company didn't do residential. Thankfully I found Pacific Coast Propane and Brandyn was able to come out the same day even though he'd been in this area earlier this morning already. Friendly & quick service and all the people I spoke to (2 via the 800#, Bruce and then Brandyn) were all very informative and friendly too. Before telling my review of Pacific Coast propane, I've got to mention how bad Amerigas propane has become. I switched because Amerigas doesn't take care of their customers anymore. I needed propane, called Amerigas and nothing happened. Luckily my wife saw a propane truck traveling behind our house making a delivery elsewhere, and told me to call Pacific Coast propane to see about becoming a customer. I did and it was seamless. Tina called back and tells me the steps required, even gave me a number to call back after hours if I needed . I got everything set up. A representative came out and checked my propane tank for leaks. He also checked our fireplace, and a couple of days later we got our propane. Our delivery driver was Gilbert who delivered the gas without a hitch, was very helpful and courteous. He even offered to fill our bbq tanks, unfortunately I just had them filled. Amerigas won't fill other tanks, I've heard. So if you're in the market for propane delivery, I would heartily recommend Pacific Coast propane! I was using the service that put in the propane tanks in my house to fill my tanks. However, they were slower last time and this time I hadn't heard back since I emailed requesting an answer. So I decided to send Pacific Coast an email here on yelp. I got an answer almost right away and each time I responded I heard right back. We loved the driver Gilbert too. Super friendly, yet he was professional, helpful and courteous in asking our questions. We had more than one tank to fill, so we were glad they contacted us back so quickly. Next day service at no extra charge!!! 30% cheaper than Amerigas, Acorn, Ferrel, and AZ Propane. We were out of propane for 3 weeks. Every company had an excuse why they couldn't come and then had to delay it further etc. We were so cold and frustrated. Finally I found Pacific coast and they guy who answered the 800# gave me Bruce's direct cell phone (the driver), he said he could come the next morning at a rate that was 30% cheaper per gallon than competitors, no gimmicks, no "safety check", "hazmat" fees or up-sells. When you call fore service you get a live person and always very helpful they call the driver who will call you and let you know when he will be there. I rarely write a review, BUT the service that PCP provided is well warranted of a review. It can time to refill my in-ground 500 gal tank. I went to my usual provider, Acorn, and found that they had been acquired/bought out by a major propane supplier. I called that major supplier, and the front desk tried to run me through the 20 questions game and lock me into a contract, per say. I asked two simple questions, what's the delivery fee and how much per gallon? Long story short, I finally said I've had enough of this and hung up. I read other reviews on Yelp and emailed/called PCP. I immediately asked the same two questions of Bruce and got immediate answers. This was Tuesday and with the answers he gave me, we scheduled for a Friday delivery. They came back later the next day saying they could take care of me Thursday morning. Gilbert showed up Thursday morning and did something as part of his service delivery no other company did, check my system for a leak. Others just came in, hooked up, fill, and leave. Gilbert goes the extra steps in customer service. Kudos for Gilbert! Unless something changes in the future with PCP like with Acorn, PCP will now continue to be my go-to propane provider. New Years Eve 2021. Our large propane tank ran out! My wife is in the middle of cooking a special dinner on our 25th Anniversary and the gas stove that runs on the propane stops! We have lived in the house full time for a bit over a year and the gauge on the propane tank was very hard to read and I should have figured it out but did not, so here we are with a crisis on New Years Eve on this most important day for us. The tank had been filled previously by another propane company a couple of years ago and I tried them first as I had the paperwork. Was on hold forever and no one manning the phones....left a voice message and no response. As this was a pretty major crisis situation on our anniversary, I went onto Yelp and saw the five star reviews for Pacific Propane. As it was a holiday eve, I got an answering service and the gentleman who answered took my information...he was very coridial. I received a call back within minutes from Tina at Pacific Coast Propane, who was a pleasure to talk with and she contacted a couple of her drivers and then called me back again, within minutes. In an hour, a very nice man (Gilbert) came to our house and filled our tank, checked it for leaks, and all was good. Our dinner and our anniversary was saved! There was a large delivery fee but this was acceptable considering that it was New Years Eve and everything was closed down and worth the fee to save the day. I cannot express enough my happiness with this Company and the exemplary service I received from Tina and Gilbert.
