I'm so glad they reached out. I called and spoke with Kerry (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly), and she was absolutely wonderful. She provided excellent customer service, made setting up our account quick and easy, and scheduled both a propane delivery and a line inspection. I called on Tuesday, and they were able to schedule us for Friday. As promised, Robert called about 30 minutes before arriving. He completed the inspection and was equally professional, friendly, and helpful. Both Kerry and Robert made the entire process seamless. From start to finish, this was a simple, pleasant experience. Advertised as RV propane facilities, and then when you pull into driveway you are in between cars and the building they have gate locked and paper sign on locked office door saying not open to public. You then have to try to blindly back out on to Buckeye Road which is a very busy truck route. Don't advertise as a RV filling station if you are not j&€ka$$es! read more

After over a decade using the previous company now purchased by Canyon State Propane we have switched our service to a much more honest & reliable company. Events: Canyon State Propane sent out their driver whom fraudulently red tagged the area Exasperating unrealistic circumstances. When I called to schedule a refill the woman on the phone was extremely rude. She did not provide options instead gave me pushback after pushback. So I told her I would be looking for another company she arrogantly said "good luck." Well, I have news for that person, I didn't need any luck. Honesty is what I needed. I found an ethical company that cares for their patrons needs. :) We will never recommend under those circumstances we cannot recommend CSP. read more

New (to us) house that uses propane for heat and we made the rookie mistake of calling our service provider WAY too late. We ran through the last of our propane last Thursday night and we weren't scheduled for a delivery until Wednesday. I spent Friday afternoon frantically calling the limited propane service providers. Most of them have emergency service but ONLY if you're a customer and the turnaround time to become a customer is around two weeks. I spoke with Marie at Canyon State and she was an absolute doll. She/Canyon State recognize that an emergency situation can convert to a customer. She was able to reorganize the driver's Saturday schedule and by 9 a.m. Saturday morning, we were toasty warm again. I just switched to Canyon State after my previous provider sold out to a nationwide company. They had lost their customer service attitude. Canyon State is locally owned and operated, they provide the kind of personal service we had been used to. They don't charge $$$ extra if you want service the same week and they will fill small tanks on site. I'm very happy I made the switch. read more

Their salesman sent me a proposal to sign which included $610 worth of charges that he failed to mention during our first lengthy phone call wherein I inquired about, and agreed, to their service. I didn't like that and told him so, then I signed their proposal anyway. He requested, and got, my credit card info to charge for the agreed amount (including tax) and then he came out to take pics of the site (very easy install) for their crew. Then he sends an email saying they wont do the 4 tanks that we originally agreed and signed up for. He said they would only do 3 tanks and he sent a revised proposal for me to sign. I reminded him that we already signed a proposal for 4 tanks and that he had taken my credit card info for that. He said they wouldn't budge on 3 tanks so I declined to do business with them. read more

Just bought a home that had tanks from the 90's and finding a company that would fill hundred-pound tanks is getting a bit hard. Had Canyon State install a brand new hundred-and twenty-gallon tank. From first call to Ron in sales to install was only four working days. Ron was very helpful in guiding me through the process. Joe was my driver/installer and he worked very hard to get the tank around the side of our house and situated. He did a great job and was very informative on explaining things to me, as this is my first propane supplied home. Old tanks were removed, and large new bricks were installed to have the new tank not sitting in the dirt like the old ones were sitting were. Canyon State's business model is what other area propane suppliers should strive to be like. read more

I have been getting propane from Amerigas and its predecessor firm prior for years. I needed a fill prior to Christmas and went online and ordered same. They said my fill "window" would be 12/18-12/31. As it got closer to 12/31 (today), I became nervous I would not have gas and decided to reach out to Canyon State Propane late yesterday (12/30) since I had seen their trucks in Gainey Ranch. I spoke to Marie this AM and around lunchtime their truck was here and I am now filled. Ryan even filled my two small propane tanks. Repeated attempts to reach Amerigas went unanswered...so much for a "large" company. Canyon State Propane is GREAT! read more

Canyon State bought Mariposa Propane. A year ago Mariposa sold us 2 new tanks that are now leaking Propane and can't be filled. Canyon State wouldn't help us at all. They wouldn't stand behind the tanks and made no attempt to come look at them or help us repair or replace them despite several calls on my part. Their response was "we have no record of you getting the tanks from Mariposa Propane so we can't help you". I explained that I can't be accountable for their record keeping but that they were absolutely the only company I've ever used and the tanks say Mariposa Propane on them. The tanks are 1 year old and should last much longer. They said they probably slapped that sticker on when they filled them. We've decided to go with Arizona Propane as they have been professional, helpful and responsive. Look elsewhere for a Propane company! Go with Arizona Propane! read more

I called to get a tank refill for my house tank. They told me I needed to have my tank inspected since it's been five or more years since it was last inspected. I was under the impression that they would pressure test the tank, as I've never had this done before. When their inspector arrived he sprayed a soapy substance on the various tank valves to see if they were leaking, checked the tank for rust/cracks, and then noted the type of gas appliances we have. The bill was $200.99! I didn't price check this with other companies beforehand, but $200 for the service rendered is ridiculous in my opinion. Had I known beforehand that this was all he was going to do for the inspection I would have called around for price comparisons (shame on me for not asking what the inspection entailed). I've used Canyon State Propane for 4-5 years now - I was originally a Mariposa Propane customer, but Canyon bought them out. I'll definitely be price shopping the next time I need an inspection, as well as when I need another refill. read more

Marie is very understanding and got us on schedule to be connected to gas before planned date to make sure we don't run out of gas, where the other propane company just wanted to wait until their scheduled route and leave us with no heat and hot water (they did that last 2 winters + this one); switched to Canyon State Propane!. They even improved the gas pressure, where previous company went the easy way and used longer thin connecting line. Cal was great in getting the tank connected, made you feel like an old friend; very patient in answering questions and explaining everything I needed to know.
