Steve was able to come out within the hour, carefully explained the entire process with a zero pressure attitude. A written quote was sent by that evening. When we were ready to move forward, I asked Steve to come back out and go over the same information with my wife as well. Steve was happy to come back out to our home. The installation process went flawlessly. The awnings we're installed in just a few hours. The electrician that Steve sent out to power the shades was very nice and cleaned up his work area. Following installation, Steve came back out to review all of the features of the awnings. We are beyond satisfied with the work and love the additional usable arena of our patio.

I left several messages they never called back. I called again days later & they answered. They had someone go out and give me an estimate and I was told they could get to it on a certain day, that day came and went with no phone call. I called the following day to find out when they were going to get out for the repair. The woman who answered the phone said she had no idea. NO IDEA? What? There is no communication between the front, the workers and the customer, whatsoever. A little back story, when they had previously worked on my parents awning, they put in the wrong size of screws. So it had been going on for years, screws falling out but my Dad would just screw them back in. They would work their way out again, which was a constant thing but it had been too long since they did the work for my Dad to bring it to their attention. (I didnt live in AZ in 2021 so I had no idea this was happening almost weekly). When they came to do an estimate, they admitted that they put in the wrong size screws 5 years earlier. Now it's time for them to do the actual work.And then they don't show up, then they say it's going to be a another week before they can get to it. I wasnt happy about that but was going to take that appointment anyway, he interrupted and said " you know what, to make it easier on everybody I suggest you go find someone else"! They didn't want to deal with my issue and that they're really not making any money off of my small job, just go somewhere else. In the meantime, its been 2 weeks of waiting for them to show up, now I have to start the whole process over. Needless to say, I was shocked that a company would tell me to go somewhere else because they didn't make enough money on my job or want to deal with the situation, but in midsentence of trying to respond, he hung up on me! Mesa Awning does not stand behind their work. Word-of-mouth can be the best advertising and/or the worst advertising. I would never go to this company ever again and I will tell everyone I know not to use Mesa Awning. I looked at some other reviews and apparently the communication hasn't gotten better in 5 years. Also they dont clean up after themselves which is a big turn-off for anyone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your awning needs!

At the in-store sale and order back on 4/17/2026, for less than a month for completion. The installation team of Grabrail and Byron first had to remove our twenty-year-old awning. This process left many stucco holes that had to be repaired. They stepped up and painted them so no repairs showed. Our patio protection is back and looks great again.
