Outside the touristy section of wynwood sits this great sub shop. Line of people and about half the tables were occupied on a Tuesday which was a good sign and the service wasn't slow and I didn't feel rushed. I had the hot turkey and for the size and price its hard to beat. Not sure if the bread is from a local Baker, food distributor, or baked on site but it was soft and tasted fresh. Just had Subs on the Run with my co workers and I must say that it was AMAZING!!! The subs were delicious and the cheese tots were to die for! You gotta try this place! So many different subs to choose from. The staff was really nice and quick with making our food. I was in and out in no time. I was able to get back to work to enjoy my sub. Even during rush hour, I still received my food quickly and it tasted fresh! There was no complaints. Inside was clean and the vibe was nice. My co workers liked their food as well. We all ordered something different. Even my co workers who did not order, tasted the food and was impressed on how good it tasted. We will definitely be back to order more Subs on the Run. I ordered a veggie egg-white platter with all of the toppings. I was advised of what was included with the omelette and what would cost extra. I received turkey or either ham in my omelette. Meat was not discussed because it's a veggie omelette. I've ordered this exact platter from Subs On The Run more than 15 times and it has been correct every time. One of the women there usually takes my order. This time a man took the order and decided to put meat in a veggie platter. He claims that he repeated the order with the meat included. I'm a vegetarian so I really don't see how I agreed to meat in anything. I never mentioned anything about meat so I'm not sure how he chose which meat to include. As I'm talking to him attempting to understand if I need to order differently in the future to be certain that this doesn't happen again- he started over talking me and disconnected the line. I have NEVER had any issues at this business until now. The food is tasteful and the women there are extremely nice, respectful & professional. This guy on the other hand is not. I was offered a refund or a free meal. I'll pass. I never wish to return to this business. read more

This place is great, pretty much a Miami Landmark. I remember my dad saying he use to come to this place when he was younger growing up in the area. And now I come whenever I'm in the area. I usually come during the lunch hour. Now there's usually a long line for lunch when you come during those hours, but in my experiences the line usually moves pretty quickly, the only tip I have is who ever is servicing you make sure you pay attention to that guy and that guy only. A couple of time I've seen customers get their order mixed up and what not. So be mindful of that and keep your eyes on your sandwich. But yeah they're pretty quick on making your sub, they also have some baked goodies like brownie and slices of cakes. On this visit I ordered the jerk Chicken sub man was that thing good. Also the bread here is so soft and fresh is soaked up all the juices from my sub, had like a spicy jerk bread thing going on there. But everyone is pretty cool there from the cashier to the dude on the griddle. It all might seem hectic but it all blends perfectly when you finally get the sub and take a bit out of it. read more

It's really tough to find a decent hot sub place in most parts of Miami. Subs on the Run fills that void, although unfortunately only during limited business hours. I totally understand why they're not open later (and maybe even on Sundays). The neighborhood is borderline terrifying. Unfortunately that means that the only time I can grab a sub here is if I stay home from work or on a Saturday afternoon. That being said, when I can get it, it's excellent. The subs here are cheap and delicious. Overall, the menu, chip & soda options, etc. are all pretty similar to any standard hot sub place. But as any sub aficionado knows, not all sub shops are created equal. This is definitely one of the best I've tried, probably second only to Hungry Bear. If you're looking for a great sandwich (before 6pm Mon-Sat) and a full meal for less than $10 Subs on the Run is an excellent choice. read more

Subs on the Run is by far the best sandwich shop. If you like a large, meaty, but incredibly affordable sub, this is the place that's even worth going out of the way. Be aware: its not in the best area, but the place is very safe. On any given day there will be multiple police officers or Army personnel feasting on subs inside, and quite frankly when it comes to good sandwiches and protection, I trust them both. Subs on the Run has a huge menu behind the counter, so don't feel bad when you are having trouble deciding between the long list of cold subs, hot subs, burger subs, steak subs and chicken subs. I have a few regular items that I rotate every few days: Cold Sub: The Italian Hot Sub: Honey Mustard Turkey with Bacon and Swiss Burger Sub: Bacon Cheese Burger Steak Sub: Provolone Cheese Steak with Onions Chicken Sub: Chicken Cordon Blue (Chicken, Ham, Swiss, Honey Mustard). I had a great experience here! I ordered a steak and cheese 12" sub and the service was quick and helpful. I took the sub to go, and their name holds true I was in and out in minutes. The sub itself was delicious, the meat was juicy, and the onions were perfectly cooked, they put the perfect amount of oil and vinegar as well as salt and pepper.
