Fresh made to order subs! Great friendly appreciative staff! We will be back! The best option for this exit, can't wait til we come back this way next month. read more

So nice to have a sub place that goes back to basics. Good quality, large amounts of meat, affordable and quick. This was a great stop on our trip when looking for healthy options too. read more

It's tough to make a memorable sub. I will be on the quest to replicate those amazing subs we just had. Cheesesteak/Chicken cheesesteak / and a #1(?) it was their traditional Italian with Mort-ta-dell!! Customer service was through the roof and the quality of the meats and cheeses are top-tier. The meats were seasoned and full of taste I believe the rolls were grilled with butter. The meat was sliced paperthin and you could dissect the flavors and different additions to your sandwich. Nicely done guys. Please open in Baltimore. Seriously. read more

What a gem! They had an locally grown organic portobello sandwich and dairy free homemade tomato soup. My new favorite Breezewood stop!

Arrived ten minutes before close and were turned away. Staff said they had "a few more subs to make" and that would mean they couldn't take and prepare our order. Avoid this place. read more

We shared the steak sub and would recommend. The mushrooms are locally sourced and the shop is right next to a Starbucks.

Probably one of the best cheesestakes I've had in the area. The meat was cooked perfectly it wasnt the steak ems meat that most places use either it was sliced steak. It was on the pricey side but it is well worth the price. Also the portioning is very generous. read more

Stopped here on my way to Pittsburgh for a quick bite to eat. Simple menu made it easy to make a decision. Service was fast and efficient. Subs were delicious and the meat was really flavorful. Not many places do shredded lettuce anymore and I love it on subs. read more

Stopped on a return trip from Pittsburgh were the highlight was supposed to be a Primanti brothers sandwich. This turned out to be the highlight. Turkey & Cheddar was fantastic! Sublicity deserves more business. Primantis was a big disappointment. read more

Breezewood if not what it used to be. Went there on our way through to Delaware and tried to find a decent, clean place for a bite to eat. First stop Hardee's . Dirty and smelled heavily of fried food. Yelp to the rescue. Subplicity was first on the list. Good reviews so gave it a try. Upon entering, there was a girl mopping the floor and a guy restocking the fridge and a friendly cashier ready to help us. The menu is pretty basic... sub sandwiches pick your own toppings. I had a simple cheese sub but it was amazingly fresh and yummy. Finely shredded lettuce, delicious cheeses and super soft bread. I highly recommend this place if you want a good quick meal on the road. read more

Best place for lunch in Breezewood. Don't miss it! Sandwiches piled high with filling and very fresh. Pleasant staff and short wait. Just what you want on a long road trip! read more

This place was great!!!! And honestly it's nice to have an option that's not a chain. The Italian sub was soooo yummy that I ate it and forgot to take a pic. Bread was fresh and the meats/toppings were all sliced thin and tasted fresh and delicious read more

In a sea of sub par chain diners, we found an oasis of fresh food that actually taste great. Like other yelpers I was drawn to the Starbucks sign and saw this place next door. My kids loved there blt sandwiches. My husband had the chicken cheesesteak and I had the portobello mushrooms sandwich. All cooked to order with a variety of toppings to choose from. A gem in Breezewood! read more

The best turkey sub I've ever had. The ingredients were so fresh and the sub was made perfectly. The New England clam chowder was banging too! Will now be stopping here every time on the way to Raystown Lake. read more

Friendliest staff Family owned small business Delicious food freshly made in front of you Any sub can be made hot! Philly cheesesteaks have perfectly spiced beef that let you know these guys take note of details. read more

Looking for an alternative to processed food this place is it. The whole sandwich was awesome. I ordered the hot pastrami with oil/vinegar, lettuce, tomato, and provolone. Wow. Way better than I expected. This place was a real find. read more

Great stop. Quality cold cuts. Good bread on subs. Next door to good coffee. Try it!

SUNDAY 6:32 PM!!! SHOCKING!!! Upon our arrival on a Sunday evening at 6:32 PM, we were greeted with soaking wet floors, ALL chairs on tables and broken bathroom locks. The first thing I asked (as you would have asked too) was "Are you closed?" The employee responded "No. We are open until 7:00 PM." "Great!" I thought. So I stepped up to the counter to look at the menu for a moment. At this point, I was informed by the employee that we had to take our food to go since the dining area was closed. Surprised by this directive, I questioned "I thought you were open until 7:00. Can't we put the chairs down to eat in your OPEN facility?" Immediately, he blurted "Management issue!!" Then someone came from the back room. Next, the manager says "How can I help you?" I expressed wanting to be able to sit down with my family to eat my meal since I had been traveling all day. Management replied "We are privately owned and we can close the dining area any time we would like, which is 6:30." I immediately thought "Fine. We will just eat in our car." I began to place my "to go" order (which was not my preference) requesting a cheese steak sandwich. At this point, the manager indicated that the grill also closed at 6:30." Very frustrated at this point, I explained how I was looking forward to a warm meal with my family. Management quickly responded "I hate to lose business but SUBWAY is up the road and they have hot sandwiches." So we left hungry and annoyed thinking "Why don't they make their closing time 6:30 PM then?" Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on the food quality since we never took a single "sub" bite at Subplicity! Stear clear fellow highway travelers, this is NOT a Sunday dinner time meal option. The worst........ read more

Stopped here while traveling. Thought it was just poor competition for Subway, my favorite deli-style food. The one guy running it was hoping, but pretty quickly cooked up two delicious hot subs with grilled onions and choice of cheeses and breads. WiFi too! read more

This is a great place for subs on the way to I70E and Washington DC. The owner was super friendly, had helpful suggestions and made great subs. The bread was exceptionally fresh, meat was excellent and the restaurant was super clean. We came in 5 minutes to closing time and he was more than happy to let us order and eat in the restaurant. Would stop again on our way to DC and highly recommend you do also! read more

Best stop when traveling - gotta try the cheese steak, pure artistry. Needs a little update and maybe some marketing outside but the food is tops. read more

This is our second or third time stopping here on a cross-country drive. Great sandwiches, great service, reasonable prices. If you hit them at lunchtime you may have to wait a bit, and they have a sign in the front telling you that. Definitely worth the stop when you're in Breezewood. read more

Grill was out so no hot sandwiches, fountain drink machine was out, bathrooms atrocious... definitely doesn't live up the current 4.5 rating on yelp. Sign on the counter warns of log waits for sandwiches during lunch rush and that there will be absolutely no refunds no matter how long you wait. Place was empty when we came at 7pm on a Sunday. Wish we had gone to Starbucks instead... which we had to anyways since our kids didn't eat their subs. read more

Stopped here on my way to VA. It was DELICIOUS. Everyone was so welcoming. The facility was clean & organized. And I keep thinking about how good my sub was. Great place!! read more

Simple sub shop with outstanding customer service. This place puts subway to shame! Fresh ingredients. Yummy subs Such a great choice over fast food. 6 inch subs will fill you up. You won't waste time stopping here, they are fast and get you on your way. McDonald's has more of a wait. Overall my group of 5 loved it and left happy. read more

What a welcome relief from other sub shops! The Boars Head sign on the window is what got us in there, knowing it's good quality. The staff could not have been nicer, very friendly and accommodating. When we saw them cutting the meat on a slicer for our sandwiches, we were smiling! The subs were served and we loved them! So fresh, with lots of meat and toppings. Very pleased with our food and wish there was one in Pittsburgh!! read more

Great cheesesteak sandwich! The air conditioning was unnecessarily too cold. But I won't take a star away for it.

Seeing the pics of the various warning signs in the shop, I thought maybe this is more hassle than what it's worth. Don't let the signs fool you (I'm guessing they're necessary with all the tourists that come thru oblivious of life's common sense rules) this place is amazing! They were out of steak but they suggested doing a grilled roast beef instead and it was one of the best subs I've had. The fries look like the big soggy kind I hate and were a little greasy but were surprisingly crispy and tasty. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was they were a bit pricey but with the locale, it was expected. Will definitely be back on the ride home! Spoke with another family while there and they said they discovered it their last time thru so they've made fans out of us both. read more

Went at prime lunch time on a Sunday. Quick service. Excellent gluten free wrap! Great quality deli meat.

Visited this place today 12/16/18 at noon. We regularly drive thru Breezewood on our way to and from Maryland and Ohio. Subplicity was great when it first opened and thru the spring of 2018. I think this place changed ownership at some point. The food is still good, but the place is filthy - tables not clean, no TP in the bathrooms, soda machine has been out of order for several months now. If the public area of this place is dirty, it makes me wonder how bad is is behind the counter. It wasn't busy at all so why not take the time to clean the place up? read more

Awesome food at this locally owned establishment. Didn't see much else along the highway so I was very happy this stop was here. Shares a parking lot with Starbucks for the cherry on top. One of the best cheese steaks I've ever had, no joke. read more

Good sandwich...but the service was crap. They have a random gratuity charge for parties over 5, charge you extra to heat up your meat, claim to toast your bread, and still take an absurd amount of time to make the food. Not to mention they separately wrap their 12 inch into 6 inches sandwiches so you have to sort through 10 sandwiches for 5 people. I was too pissed off to eat inside the restaurant...spare yourself and go to Sheetz. read more

Great sub, reasonable prices, fast service. The staff is friendly. Location is great for a quick stop.

Excellent. Even though we had cold cuts of meat on a cold day, it warmed our souls. You can choose your choice of meat, cheese, bread, toppings, chips, drink, etc., Just like a sub shop should have. What a fantastic place to stop by on a long trip to grab a heart warming bite to eat. read more

I had the cheesesteak on white roll. It was so delicious and the roll was so fresh. The price was very reasonable. I will stop again when i travel. read more

The owner knows me and what I eat. I was here today, he was not. Food was not as good as usual. Big puddle of liquid left at the bottom of the container of my half sub. Maybe too much mayo also. These subtleties make a difference. read more

Subplicity - totally awesome subs! Love this place. I try to stop by this place whenever I pass thru Breezewood PA. Highly recommend, very fresh food, & very delicious. If they would toast their subs, it'd be even better. read more

First of all the food was great and for a Sunday it wasn't too busy. I wish I could give a better review but my first experience there will definitely be my last. The guy that took my order was extremely rude. I could smell alcohol on him so I'm pretty sure I know what his problem with us was. As they were preparing our food I heard him make jokes about spitting in our food! He was swearing. I've never been to such an establishment. It's unfortunate the only place that has boarshead meats in the area has an employee that treats customers like that. So if you like to be treated like you're an inconvenience to a drink guy while you eat, go there. If not Subway is right up the road. read more

Wow don't know if this place changed ownership? We have stopped in several times the last 4 years..this time We called in an order for carry-out but since it was empty we decided to sit down to eat. Before we could even open our sandwich wrappers.. the guy behind the counter rudely informed us that carry out orders can't be eaten in the restaurant..just so we know that for our next visit. Again,No one was in the place except us! We could hear the staff bitching about our call in/eat in order so we decided to leave with the rest of our sandwiches.. we told them we have been there several times & nvr eat in ..didn't realize they had that policy etc.. the man seemed to be ok with but the woman spoke up and rudely said we don't have to argue about it & told us to leave! We weren't arguing at all.. overall the experience was just plain RUDE Soda machine STILL not working Bathrooms dirty Peace out read more

pass on this experience first, the sub was fantastic ... great meat, super bread, fresh veggies. staff was nice. but the facility was a dump! filthy tables, floors, counters, and rest rooms. soda machine out of order, and looked toxic with mold and crud. would love to rate higher, but not this time. read more
