A cool overall experience. I had the Bernouli brulee, it Reminded me of a churro or a cinnamon toast crunch. Very good, but rich & sweet. Trust the process it looks grainy or gritty at first but as it melts it gets creamier. Highly recommend read more

The experience here was really cool because it is nitrogen ice cream. I liked seeing them actually make the ice cream. Also the staff here were super nice. I thought my ice cream was just okay though and didn't think it tasted that great. I only ate some of it. read more

Fun to watch them make, but ice cream is just ok. I think the liquid nitrogen is a super cool presentation and gimmick, but I can't say that this makes it the best ice cream I've had. I was kinda worried for the ice cream makers because liquid nitrogen is kinda scary to work with, especially with your bare hands. I got the Lemon Italian Ice and my husband got the Bernoulli Brûlée. I think cream-based ice creams work best here because my Italian ice was unnaturally yellow and had a weird texture. Service was great! It was fun watching them make the ice cream and it wasn't a bad price for the experience. Dunno if I'd be back, but I think it's fun if you're in the area and craving some ice cream after a visit to Centennial Olympic Park or the Aquarium. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Horrible and rude service. The ice cream is sub par at best. The workers pretend not to speak English or understand you if you ask questions or have a complaint. Will not be returning. FYI Dragon's balls, it's just frozen fruitloops what a joke. Not clearly described on menu. I was there with a group of my students. My student tried to get a refund and all the workers pretended not to speak English. My students do not have a lot of money, I ended up having to buy her an ice cream to replace it. read more

I really could give it zero stars, but it won't let me. Very cool idea!! So i wanted a treat after dinner. What better than ice cream. I asked a few questions and the woman behind the counter just didn't speak English. I believe that if you are taking orders you should know how to speak enough to take orders. I asked for PB Instead of caramel on my sundae. She just looked at me and put it on anyway. Then I said I wanted PB Cups and she put heath bars. I asked again for more pB sauce on top. She put the whipped cream on and then some (very little) on top of the whipped cream, so i got no PB with the actual ice cream. Just disappointed read more

I came here for a sweet treat after leaving a Yelp event. I stumbled across this place as I was walking down the street and saw the sign. I said why not and dropped in. I got the peanut butter scoop. You're as coooooooold as ice! This place was so cool. I like the fact they have so many selections that you can choose from. The ice cream was very delicious and tasted very fresh. The toppings were not over powering either. The staff were very nice and helpful also. The place was clean and welcoming. The prices are very affordable also! I most definitely recommend this. read more

Very delicious, pretty decent service, and nice interior. The only thing is the price is a little expensive. A small nitrogen ice cream was over 8 bucks. It was really cool to see how they make it with nitrogen tho. Would recommend if you are willing to spend a bit extra for a cold treat. read more

Sub Zero is located across the street from Centennial Park, near the Georgia Aquarium. They are busy on a Friday night and the service was quick and friendly. We ordered 2 dragons breath, strawberry dessert storm, Mango and strawberry smoothie. My kids enjoyed the dragons breath and it kept them entertained. Both smoothies were your typical smoothies, nothing special. The dessert storm was a strawberry shake with a donut on top. Between my kids and husband they didn't finish this until the next day, it was delicious but too sweet. Solid place for dessert if you're looking for something sweet near the aquarium. read more

Got the 'Peanut Butter Bonds' combination. It had chunks of brownies that were too sweet. But overall the flavor of the peanut was good. The ice cream itself isn't anything out of the ordinary. You pretty much pay for the concept of 'liquid nitrogen' ice cream. They don't let you sample the flavors before ordering! :( read more

Stopped in for a sweet treat for the kids after a visit to the aquarium. They offer a unique ice cream experience where they freeze the cream with liquid nitrogen. You get to pick your base, flavorings, and toppings. They then freeze it all together. My daughter loved her ice cream and had fun watching it being made. My youngest daughter was looking to try the dragon's breath, but they were sold out that day. She opted not to get anything then. The location was clean and simple and the service was standard. Just fun experience for kids and adults who want to have fun! read more

I was told the cookies n cream was the best seller - so I went with that. Very sweet, but good. Love the service and the atmosphere was ideal. My wife tried the "mocha madness" - and I realized I should have gotten that instead as it tasted better imo. On top of that, the way they make the ice cream is a sight to behold. I ordered the lemon Italian ice. I'd give it a 7/10. It was more sweet than the lemon ice cream I was expecting. It stained my lips and teeth so keep that in mind when you consume. I also tried the dragon's breath balls thing. They're okay. 5/10. It's like eating fruit loops. This isn't something I'd particularly order but my friends really like it. The root beer float was also my friends but it looked cool and yummy. Inside was clean, service was good. The employees speak spanish which was cool as a Mexican visiting Atlanta. It's nice to speak my native language out here where I don't expect it lol. I would return to try other ice cream. The experience was pretty cool honestly. read more

Stopped in for a sweet treat between the aquarium and World of Coke attractions. The concept is so fun!!! I opted for the Dragon's Breath. Unfortunately, I didn't know what it was when I ordered. I was thinking they were ice creams balls or ice balls with nitrogen, but they are actually like freeze dried cereal balls. So not the icy cool treat I was hoping for, but they were super fun! I docked 1-star for cleanliness. The tables were gross. read more

The ice cream is made in a unique way with liquid nitrogen, but the taste is nothing special. The banana Cream Pie was very smooth and creamy, but very sweet. The workers seemed to have limited understanding of english. At $8 for the small size, it seems like you're paying more for the experience than the ice cream. read more

While the ice cream is okay I find it in poor taste to charge for water. Paying customers buying food should be given tap water upon request. There is also no place to wash your hands or use the restroom. Lacks hospitality and customer service. read more

Not sure how this place thrives. The employees don't speak English well and had to consult each other when asked questions. We ordered butter pecan ice cream (hubby's fav). It had no nuts in it at all and the flavor was way off, and bland. I had the green tea ice cream and it too tasted strange ... not like green tea, at all. It tasted more like key lime flavoring. We asked for sugar-free ice cream and the employees didn't understand then said "no", then "yes". So, still we don't know what we received. The ice cream was not creamy. The restaurant was not clean inside (tables and floors). This was by far the worse part of our tour downtown. We plan to continue with another tour soon and this will not be a stop! We have been business owners in a business that served food and know food regulations. The owner needs to clean this place up and make sure the employees comprehend English and most importantly that the ice cream flavors are good and the restaurant is clean. The prices are not cheap for the amount you get so one would expect to at least get good product. Horrible experience for us. Not recommended. read more

After a long day in beautiful weather, we decided to stop by for some ice cream! This shop was easy to find, and not a huge rush at all, which was great. I ordered the Bernoulli's brulee, small, which was a good size for me. It took them quite a bit of time to prep the order, but that was not a huge problem for us. The ice cream tasted good! I have had liquid nitrogen cooled ice cream a few times, and this probably had some of the best texture of the types I've had which was great. That being said, it was quite expensive. Also, unsure if there was a malfunction on the card reader or it was me not pushing buttons hard enough, but I was not able to skip giving a tip (I prefer to tip with cash), which was one of the options presented, so I was forced to give some tip via credit card. So didn't love that on top of the higher price. Overall, cool concept, and good tasting ice cream for a one time experience! read more

I ordered the Big Blast on 4/14 at 2:45pm, expecting that it will come with cotton candy icecream with the toppings being Marshmellow and top rocks as advertised on the menu. Well they complete skipped over the top rocks, which was the selling factor for me. When asking them to add the top rocks, I received attitude and was informed that it was a mix in option that it will be an additional charge. *NOT NUT SAFE* We stopped in and my friend with a severe tree nut allergy asked if they could accommodate her and was told yes. She requested that they open a new bag of mint chips from the back if possible since the one they had out was right next to the pecans and thus would cause cross contamination. They said ok and then proceeded to make it with the mint already out. When I went and asked them to remake it with ingredients that weren't opened they said they didn't have any and couldn't. Why this wasn't said before my friend was charged for and handed ice cream she can't eat... I don't know. For a business that has a sign specifically saying to tell them about allergies and they'll take precautions, the lack of care for safety is astounding. read more

I don't think you can get enough ice cream while on vacation. We stopped in here for lunch and got some sweet treats. The ice cream joint makes the ice cream by using nitrogen and you're able to see your order being made. It was fun to watch and eat too! The Bernoulli Brulee is consisted of cinnamon, dulce de leche, caramel, Twix, Heath, and vanilla. Man, that was delish! There's a reason why I was eating ice cream for 4 days straight....lol. My husband got the Banana Cream It and our kids got the cookies and cream and key lime flavors. All of us were happy with our fill ups. The service was great. The staff took their time with each order and there was a crowd of people coming in right before we left. It's located near by the museums in the downtown Atlanta and only a short walk away. Walked during a break at work for icecream and came across this place. Cute clean place but never get the cookie blast. It looks good but for one it's 14 bucks wouldn't have minded but the cookie was burnt and hard as a rock which prevents it from being edible with icecream. I tried to pick it up from under my icecream to bite it hard and burnt taste. I just wanted 14 bucks and guess what? I still want icecream. read more

It was interesting to watch them make the Nitrogen Ice Cream. It starts out with the ice cream in liquid form, then they add toppings and flavors, before blasting the bowl with nitrogen gas and hand mixing it, in order to freeze and turn the mass into ice cream. It is more gimmicky than gourmet - so that's what you are paying for. Tastewise it was similar to Italian style gelato, yet not as smooth. I got a small Bernouli Brulee, which was around $8 for a couple of 1.5 inch scoops served with a thin waffle cone wafer. There was more "topping" than actual ice cream, so I didn't feel as though I got my money's worth. The liquid ice cream was only about a couple tablespoons in total quantity. The toppings mixed together filled out the majority and rest of the serving, so ratio and texture just didn't taste right to me. They also have italian ice (similar to sorbet/sherbert). read more

Looking for some ice cream while in the area and ended up at this "cool" spot 30 mins before they closed. The lady who helped us was nice and helpful even though it was the end of the night. The menu is intense as they have a variety of types and flavors to build off and popular items so you don't have to pick each part. They put everything you want in a bowl, base, flavoring, and toppings and hit it with the liquid nitrogen in front of you. This is literally the coolest part as a huge smoke cloud comes out, and boom, you have your ice cream. They scoop it in a bowl, which is a good amount for 2. We got the peanut butter combo, and it came with a waffle bowl. I would recommend it, and with so many flavors, we would definitely go back for our sweet fix. read more

Yum yum yum. What a cool experience to see the ice cream being made right before your eyes!! The anticipation as the smoke clouds from the liquid nitrogen rises and hides the view just enough for you begin imagining the final result and tasting the delicious flavors. I did a simple pistachio and my daughter did caramel with sprinkles mixed into it. I only wish the moment could have lasted longer as we enjoyed every single scoop!! I definitely recommend this place for all ages and for all picky eaters. You literally pick every ingredient that goes into your masterpiece so there is definitely something for everyone.
