Umm service wasn't all the way there but the food... THE FOODDDDD. So fresh, and so freaking good. Even the agua de Melon was top tier. I was told this place (Sabrosita) was good and affordable so I gave it a try. Wow I didn't regret it at all. All of the employees were SO SO nice and helpful. Answered all of my questions about the menu and never once hesitated to make changes to my request. I've worked in the food/beverage industry for years and love when businesses treat me well! Will definitely come back again when in the area bc they are nice and patient unlike La Michoacana whom always seem to have an attitude about everything.

The decor here is absolutely lovely, and the entire space is pristine clean and gorgeous. I really want to see this local gem thrive, which is why I plan to revisit at a better time. I made the mistake of arriving about 20 minutes before closing, and unfortunately, the overall customer service energy felt a bit rushed and unwelcoming. While I was told there was "no rush," the underlying vibe and rigid communication made it clear the staff was checked out and ready to close up for the night. As an indecisive thinker who likes to ask questions, the experience felt a little stressful. They had a couple of non-dairy choices, but since those didn't catch my eye, I wanted to pivot to a smaller dairy portion (like a pup cup size) to accommodate my preferences. Navigating that request felt a bit difficult and restrictive rather than helpful or flexible. I ended up with the Strawberry Cheesecake, which was great! I truly think I just caught them at an off-time. I genuinely hope they do well, and maybe I'll return much earlier in the day next time for the full, warm experience!

My sweet tooth found a new happy home! The Cereal Lab is…read moreexactly what I've been missing in my life -- fun, flavorful, and Black-owned (so you know I had to show support!). From the moment we walked in, the variety of cereals on display was enough to make any cereal lover swoon. Pro tip: if you see it on the shelf, they've got it -- don't limit yourself to what's behind the counter. My fiancée found a Groupon (wallet win!), but honestly, I'd pay full price without hesitation -- it was that good. After sampling a few ice cream options, I went with the Oatmilk Cream Pie, which turns out is a staff favorite -- and I totally get why. For my cereal mix-in, I chose the Cookies and Cream Frosted Flakes (yes, you read that right ). We noticed they were running a little low on toppings -- we came later in the day -- but thankfully they weren't out of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I topped mine with a drizzle of peanut butter, which threw me off at first because it was black in color (I thought it was chocolate!), but nope, it was peanut butter and it was delicious. We got our creations in handmade waffle cups, which added an extra layer of yum. It wasn't super busy, but our order still took a little while -- not a dealbreaker though, especially since it gave us time to snap a few photos. Parking nearby was only $3, so no complaints there. Can't wait to return and experiment with more combos! The Cereal Lab is a sweet spot I'll be recommending to everyone.

We accidentally arrived before they opened because I forgot to check their hours. As we were about to leave to find another dairy-free option, the owner (or employee) saw us and asked what the boys wanted. To our surprise, he served us ice cream anyway and refused to let me pay for it. His kindness completely made our day. He simply smiled and said, "I think things happen for a reason." Now let's talk about the ice cream... it was AMAZING! I got the dairy free butter pecan, and it's almost impossible to find a really good vegan butter pecan anywhere. It was so creamy and flavorful that my boys actually asked me why I was eating it so fast! They loved theirs too, and the mystery flavor was such a fun touch. The incredible customer service got us through the door, but the quality of the ice cream is what will keep us coming back. If you're looking for vegan, dairy-free ice cream that doesn't taste like you're missing anything, this is the place. Thank you for your kindness and for making a memorable day for my boys and me. We'll definitely be back!

This well-deserved review has been sitting in my drafts long enough!…read more This place serves some really impressive ice cream. I've been here twice and plan to return many times. I've also had most of the other ice cream shops in a 1.5mile radius and Eighty7sweets knocks them all out of the park. Patronizing this quaint little ice cream shop does require a bit of patience, but it's worth it y'all. I'm not vegan at all and I can wholeheartedly say that Eighty7sweets exceeds expectations for every dietary journey (except for maybe the low-carb folks LOL). The environment is tiny and can only serve one party at a time, but it's calming compared to the chaos of Broad St and has a naturally warm, tiki aesthetic. You really can't go wrong with any flavor. It's so darn good, and not shockingly sweet either. Dare I say, this might actually be a health conscious treat. The cookie bowl is a must from here on out. Just do it. The Oreo option has legit pieces of cookie in it. You can do half and half on a single scoop but it's basically two scoops. The servings SERVE and are more than enough. I'm a lil basic so I never get any extra toppings, but the ice cream speaks for itself. Excellently crafted and presented in a clean, minimalist way. KP, the team member I normally encounter, is phenomenal with her service. She's the perfect balance of friendly without doing too much. She has a calm vibe even when they have a line forming out the door. She'll never rush you, but I usually try to be mindful of the folks possibly waiting behind me. I wish the menu was a bit more visible from the outside -- it is for the most part but there are sections that are hard to see unless you're inside the door. The last time we came in around 20min to close and the bins were *rightfully* empty, but she was more than willing to grab more from the back. I have really only one area of improvement. The guy helping in the back my second time coming in was very talkative (yet friendly) and lowkey begged for a review after I had already discussed my intentions to do so with KP... it wasn't a great look from a customer's perspective. I get it as I've worked in this industry, too. But others might not be so chill about that and it might turn people off from actually leaving a review! Nevertheless I'm so grateful this spot is in my neighborhood. Review finally posted!
