Super, super long wait. People after us got their orders first. We didn't get ours until we said something. We were at busier food trucks that took less time. Great milkshake for me, however they completly got my friend's order wrong. They just did my husband's order twice. I'd be more forgiving if the staff wasn't so busy doing photographs and talking with people for selfies. I get it but keep your orders organized. Probably won't seek them out again. Good ice cream, meh service.

Visited today for first time. Place was decorated to point and clean. Went all in with the waffle sundae. Staff helped with choices based on most popular and it did not disappoint. Best dessert hands down.

I saw this place on TikTok and thought I had to try it. I tried it AND I don't have to go back. it tastes like store bought ice cream to me and when they opened door to the back, I saw bluebell ice cream !was very disappointing. For the amount of money the ice cream costs ,it needs to be authenticated NOT store-bought ice cream. It was really nothing exciting about this place. The workers were nice and the place was just okay and thats why they got a 3 star.

Cute spot, great customer service, and plenty of delicious mix options. Sundaes and milkshake were very tasty!

We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. We made it there about 9 and there were about 5 vendors and many tables to sit and enjoy your food. There was also music playing. Slutty vegan seemed to be the only vendor with a line. When I'm talking line, I'm talking L-I-N-E!!!! As we were waiting, we ended up getting a spiked lemonade from one of the vendors and it wasn't spiked much. Lol After standing in line for 2 hours we're getting closer to the front, and then we hear "We're sold out."

Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

We ran across Pretty Little Taco Truck that has their take on birria tacos and had great reviews so we decided to head to Triton Yards. While it's not a huge place, it's a decent size. It is located in the Westend of Atlanta. We went on a Saturday and I believe there was about 5 food trucks along with a dj. They also have plenary of parking. There's a lot directly behind them for parking, as well as I noticed parking on the side where people could park. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Triton Yards is family friendly. While there was a dj, the music was good and appropriate for all present. There is a green space out there with games for the kids like big jenga, as well as a fire pit for s'mores when the sun sets. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints. I know I'll be back because there's a number of other places I'd like to try and I love the fact that they support and provide a nice space for African Americans, as well as others to experience.

First, about the location: it's a small spot off Boulevard where this isn't a ton of parking space. I went on a Saturday around 2:30, and there wasn't much traffic--though I'm not sure how busy it gets at other times. Now, the fries. Honestly, they were just regular fries with Parmesan... nothing Italian or special about them. The reigning champion for Parmesan fries to me continues to be Urban Trend Cafe. The burger was big but inconsistent. Most of the crawfish tasted plain, and the real flavor only hit at the end, like the seasoning wasn't evenly spread. If the whole burger had tasted like that last bite, it'd have been great. But for $22 with no drink, that was disappointing. Still, that last burst of flavor showed potential. I'm open to trying them again, but I may just try something different next time. Overall, a decent experience, but that's really it.

Here it was all about enjoying nice craft beers, specialty cocktails, local arts, crafts, and live music. It is free to attend. It was held in Grant Park which is a large public greenspace in Atlanta. It's address is 800 Cherokee Ave. It is just south of Oakland Cemetery. As with all public festivals in Atlanta, alternate transportation is recommended because parking is limited. Uber or Lyft are good ideas. So is biking, or walking in on the Beltline. Thanks, Grant Park Food-o-Rama! Several great things about this event - pre-sale tickets were only $5 (yes, there was a small admin fee), tickets were mobile, so I didn't need to waste paper, the trucks were not cash only - they operated as usually and had credit card capabilities. Also, they were well placed within the park and the lines were not out of control. By my estimation, there were probably about 40 food trucks - with about 7 or so being dessert trucks (who were placed together) and there was such a wide variety of trucks, it was very hard to decide what I wanted to get. From hot dogs, to lobster rolls (two lobster trucks, in fact), to filipino food, to french fries, to crepes, to cheesesteaks, to donuts and everything in between. We were lacking for nothing! There was live music, some vendor booths and plenty of park area to bring a blanket and sit and eat and enjoy the atmosphere. It was 9 hours of food, fun and more food. I cannot wait for this event next year - let's hope the weather is as amazing next hear as it was this year. Thanks, Grant Park Conservancy and Indie South Fair!
