The ice cream flavors offer so many great choices and the staff is always friendly. They have limited seating but do have additional benches outside.
For the first time, (ever I believe), I tried a new flavor at Jeni's and not just to sample but actually committed to getting an entire scoop. On this visit I enjoyed the new strawberry and pretzel flavor which was a delightful treat. Very sweet with an occasional crunch from the pretzel bits. No matter the Jeni's location the service is always very pleasant and this particular location is pretty busy so the ambiance is pretty noisy and loud.
Splendid? - YES! Ice cream can solve all of the world's problems. I personally believe that any day can be made better when a good ice cream is involved. I've had my share of mediocre ice creams and this will not be added to that list. This store is located in the Westside Provisions District and gives you the luxury of sitting to enjoy your ice cream or walking around enjoying the area. The flavor selections were great with dairy free and gluten free options available as well. The staff was patient and helpful as we made our life decisions and encouraged us to sample. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!
There's not much to say people. Great service, always friendly and calm. Prices are great, and they're always open late. They have non dairy options and seasonal flavors! Jeni's is one of my all time favorites for ice cream and for a night cap if you and your date don't want to go home yet. Pro tip: Brambleberry Crisp in a bowl with extra waffle chips!
That late night sweet tooth kicked in for me, and everyone at the hotel suggested stopping off at Jeni's to get a scoop. The vibe of our final location was just what we needed. We actually were in the middle of 2 locations that stayed open late, but the 1st one was a small walk up booth with weird parking. Here we got a chance to see the flavors and taste as needed. I'm not a big ice cream fan (dairy-related), but they did have 2 options available that were dairy-free. As I tasted both, it was easy for me to decide on the Chocolate Sheet Cake in a waffle bowl. Good stuff & would recommend a stop as they have a bunch of great flavors. I wasn't trippin on the amount they gave me as it was just right, but I did feel like some servers were a bit more heavy-handed than others that night.
I had a great experience at Jenni's Ice Cream. The flavors are creative and well-balanced--especially the pistachio sea salt and the strawberry basil that tasted surprisingly fresh. The texture is smooth and creamy, not overly icy. Service was friendly and the shop is clean and cozy, with a few cute seating nooks. Prices are fair for artisanal scoops, and there's a nice mix of classic staples and new seasonal flavors. If you're indecisive, ask for a tasting flight or let the staff pick a few favorites. Will definitely return to try more flavors. Pros Creative, high-quality flavors Creamy, smooth texture Friendly service Cozy, clean space Cons Some seasonal flavors sell out quickly Small shop can get crowded during peak hours
I cannot, for the life of me figure out how someone would not give this place 5 stars. In what universe of experiences is this not amazing? I tried Gooey Butter Cake and Basque Cheesecake with BrambleBerry Jam. The creamy delicious smooth ice cream was gourmet.
Jeni's is such an ice cream staple that you can't go wrong! There are so many different flavors and options that there is 100% something for everyone. We went when the line was pretty long, but they move people through pretty quickly and easily. Can't wait to go try something new!
Love Jeni's! The flavors are so good and creamy. Love the concept of a half-scoop. The line to get in was out the door and wrapped around the corner, but it was worth it. They totally let you and expect you to taste-test a bunch of flavors before ordering.
The line was long but very kind and fast service. Definitely one of the best mint chip ice cream I have had. There is big of ice cream selection to choose from, all of them look delicious to try.
First seasonal jeni's flavors I've actually enjoyed in a while, and two at that! The opaque was very rich and coffee forward with notes of balsamic cherry at the end. Quite chocolatey as well. The popcorn brittle was surprisingly good, less buttery than expected. Tasted a little like sweet Korean corn snacks?
This place is super popular. We had to wait in line for a bit but it was worth it. The line took awhile since you're able to sample flavors before making your final decision. They do half scoops but if you're not feeling two half scoops you can just order one half scoop and it was enough to satisfy my dessert craving after a big dinner.
Reviews are largely positive. People praise the creative, high-quality flavors, wide variety of options, and friendly staff. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere.

Yes you could get it at Whole Foods, but why not stopping by when you see Jeni's ice cream store right there? This is why we went there. This is actually my second time going to Jeni's ice cream store after my initial one in Columbus, Ohio. For fun fact, the ice cream shop started in Ohio (surprise). Anyways, there were so many flavors you can't get from the Whole Foods, which is another reason why you should come check this place out! It will make you feel better in this already hot summer weather of May. read more

Jeni's never disappoints. You know that you'll consistently get the same premium ice cream at each location, which is likely why the lines are so darn long. Especially at this spot. One of the few places that will still let you get unlimited samples post-COVID. I like they keep you abreast via email of new flavors, and keep a lot of the tried and true flavors on the menu year round. And the birthday scoops! I hope those aren't going anywhere. Just know that the parking here is atrocious, as it is in many downtown areas. But once you finally survive the parking lot and get your dessert, it's nice to be able to sit outside in the courtyard and enjoy the views, or walk around the area while you eat. read more
I FINALLY had the chance to try Jeni's! It was delicious!! I loved that there were several cases with the same flavors. This seems to keep the line moving efficiently. Luckily, there was no crowd when we got there so we got our treats quickly! read more
I have never had Jeni's before not even the pints at the store. I've always seen them at the store and have admired the unique flavors but always go with Van Leuwens instead which is my fave. I was visiting a friend in Atlanta and we went with her husband and my bf. She's been quite some times so she was able to recommend some flavors. I ended up getting the salty caramel and coffee with cream and sugar. We came back on a Saturday at around 7:15pm. Apparently they usually have a long line but surprisingly only about 4 people were in line when we came. This gave us some time to deliberate and figure out what flavors to get. First off I'd like to say I appreciate how friendly and considerate the workers are. My bf and I taste tested like 6 flavors and I was a little shameful I'll be honest but they were understanding and wanted to make sure I liked my flavor. I decided upon two different flavors to have a contrast of sweet but balanced. The salty caramel and coffee with cream and sugar was incredible. We shared it and he had a great idea to mix them up. Created a frosty consistency of a iced caramel macchiato which is my favorite coffee order. I know, yes, may be basic but it was so good. I kept coming for more scoops of it. Thinking next time we will need to get our own scoops because it was creamy and comforting. read more

My favorite icecream. They have seasonal flavors and reoccurring flavors that are great. Outside seating and a few places inside to sit. The smell walking in is always to die for. They make all their cones basically to order or as they need them so it's full of cake like batter smell. The scoopers always look as if they're having a good time it's rare that they don't smile or at least seem to enjoy their job. The location is great, lots of other places to walk to or sit if you want to enjoy with a Freind read more

I mean how can you hate Jeni's.... I've been to this location countless times and it never gets old and the line is always worth it! Which goes to say, beware there is almost always a line and it takes a while and parking is a hassle... but I still love it We maybe waited 20ish minutes this Saturday night and I was so happy to learn they have a new 4 half scoop option which is great for sharing!! We also tried some of their new flavors for the eclipse but also got some classics: brown butter almond brittle and lavender. Those you have to get. Can't hate this place and vibes are always great!! read more

I'm not sure why I remember thinking Jeni's was super good, but I honestly didn't think it was very special this time. The wait outside the door was super long, and I stood for around 20-30 minutes before getting my ice cream. All the flavors they listed on the board aren't actually available for scoops - some are pint only. I really wanted to try the chocolate cake flavor, but they don't actually serve that in scoops. I ended up opting for the classic brambleberry crisp and the texas sheet cake (dairy free) on a waffle cone. Their cones are good, and you can watch and smell them fresh. The ice cream itself was not bad, but I didn't feel like it was really anything special both flavor and texture wise. It certainly fulfills the ice cream craving, but I'm not sure it's entirely worth the price and wait. read more

Jeni's has a special type of hold on me. I am not...ever...almost never in the mood for ice cream, but let me find out I'm near a Jeni's and I'm there in a split second. My go-to's are a scoop of the following 3 flavors (I'm greedy idc) Brambleberry Crisp, Brown Butter Almond Brittle and the Gooey Butter Cake This time I decided to switch it up and try the Caramel Pecan (dairy free btw) paired with the powdered jelly donut and the darkest chocolate (greedy again idcidc!)- it was HIT-TING omg. Especially because the jelly...was raspberry and the darkest chocolate was super rich. I hope they keep that caramel pecan as it's now one of my new favorites. Everytime I come to this location I encounter THEE sweetest people , and shoutout to the "everybody water" that they sell, it's a cute touch (see pics) read more

If Jeni's has no lovers left on earth, I am dead lol Food Spectacular! Lots of flavors and they let you try some! My line sister and I tried Brown Almond Brittle which was good, she said it tasted like amaretto lol! Service Nice, sweet, and quick! We knew what we wanted but I've never had a bad customer experience here Ambiance Cute ice cream shop with water and merch available to buy. The shop is pretty small but, the shopping area that Jenis is located in, has a lot of outdoor seating! read more

Jeneen, we're so glad to hear that our sweet treats brought you joy!…
My second visit here. Got here early to avoid the line. Sadly inside the service was slow. A lot of employees but all doing other things and not focused on moving customers. When it's busy here I have seen them drive the service and move people quickly but tonight no focus. The ice cream thankfully was delicious. I sampled the coffee and the licorice. Both were delicious. I wasn't sure about the licorice and salt but the salt was very subtle. The coffee was among the best I have had but since it's after 6pm no caffeine for me (think gremlins). So I had a dish of brown sugar almond brittle, honey vanilla and darkest chocolate. All were delightful. They have added more outdoor seating since I was last here to much easier and more pleasant to sit outside and savor my ice cream. read more

This a great sweet treat option in midtown...this location is always busy but wait time is never too long. There isn't a lot of space to sit and eat you treats and the parking is a pay to park lot...but the shop is always clean! My favorite go to is "gooey butter cake" with a freshly made waffle cone bowl. read more
Neat little ice cream shoppe. I was visiting Herman Miller showroom and retail store which was in the same complex, and I saw the name for "Jeni's Ice Cream" and I remember my sister had mentioned Jeni's as worth going for. Friendly staff, and was able to bear w/ me and my small group as we sampled most of the flavors. I must have sampled at least 10 different flavors, before finally deciding on two of them for the duo scoop. I also asked for popular flavors, and these were the top two heavy hitters. Gooey Butter Cake with caramel-butterscotch sauce, and Brambleberry Crisp with vanilla and brambleberry jam. Both were rather exceptional, or close to it in any case. I liked the Butter Cake flavor the most -- supposed to be their most popular flavor. All in all, awesome ice cream spot, and would recommend stopping by if you have the chance. The size for two scoops is rather small, and it doesn't feel like you're gaining weight by eating them, even though it's def on the sugary side. Neat ice cream spot, in the heart of Atlanta. read more

Whenever it gets a little warm outside, my mom immediately craves ice cream. So we drove down Howell Mill to her favorite local ice cream shoppe, Jeni's. The line is always long, out the door, and wrapped around the corner. The ice cream is so good, so you can understand why. Even though the line is long, the staff always moves with efficiency. The smell of freshly made waffle cones just does something to my soul! I got one scoop of the gooey butter cake and one scoop of coffee with milk and sugar. My mom got a scoop of brown butter almond brittle and one scoop of the milkiest chocolate. We went home happy and full! read more
