Ice cream

Delicious ice cream! Super generous scoops, and really yummy and unique flavors. I sampled their limited edition pumpkin pie which was good, but ultimately ended up going for the cake batter and chocolate fudge brownie one. I loved the texture and consistency of the ice cream, as well as all the mixins. Definitely worth it!

Kilwins is for those with a major sweet tooth! They have everything from chocolate candy to caramel apples and fudge. I recently went there for dessert. The shop was clean and staff had great attitude despite the crowd of people inside the store looking for sugary delights. I ordered a scoop of Praline Pecan Ice Cream ($6.99), and my partner got Vanilla Milkshake ($11.99). There wasn't anything special about the Praline Pecan Ice Cream, and it tasted exactly like it should. The milkshake - which had more than 1,000 calories!! - was too sweet for my partner and me to finish. Products here are quite expensive, so it's not a place I would consistently drop by for sweets, but I do think the shop has a fun environment!

What's not to like. This was my first time ever visiting a Kilwins. This location was clean, good customer service, the wait was not super long and great ice cream on a hot summer day in Atlanta!

As soon as you walk into Kilwins, you can smell the chocolate and caramel. The decor has an old-fashioned vibe and the shop is quite large. There are chocolates, ice cream, and fudge displayed throughout the store. We decided on the turtle sundae. The employee seemed confused about how to make the ice cream, reading the list of ingredients and taking his time to make it. I can only assume that he was a new employee. The ice cream tasted fine. It was creamy and not icy. For 1 scoop with toppings that felt skimped on... it is not worth the near $10 price point in my opinion. I would not return because of the price.

For the love of Kilwins. I remember before I would walk around smelling the fudge and the sweets being made. This time around I didn't smell it. Candy apples were on display along with other chocolates and sweet treat. There wasn't anything seasonal or drawing you in. It was a Sunday afternoon and there was many people inside getting ice cream. There's no sign of scoops or menu it's on a sheet of paper on the glass in small print. There was one employee who walked out from the bathroom area which looked like she was scratching her private area underneath her apron or adjusting her frontal area didn't wash her hand. Only the men's bathroom was operating that day. A sweet lady took my order but my ice cream was already melting on retrieval so it was a mess. I was sad about it. But who knows when it will be the next time I'd come back.

I'm going to blame the service from this spot on the pandemic. Parking I suggest front row parking in the garage park. $8 for 6 hours. Get your ticket and pay at the cashier before going to Atlantic station. Ice cream is the one food I think all cultures regardless of age, love. Entrance Branding is everywhere. There is an area where you can see the treats being made. Yum. There are arrows on the flow to control traffic and keep everyone safe. Nice touch. Ice cream This is where the confusion starts. There are several printed menus. Not sure the rationale behind this. However, take your reading glasses out. After, selecting tell the staffer and they start to make your order. The young man that took the orders didn't explain wait time or anything. We didn't even know he was the person taking all the orders for our group. It was chaotic. Then another lady came over and assisted. That's when things started making sense. Please note a flavored mocha comes hot or cold. Let them know - yeah there's no distinction. Then checkout, then stand back and wait in the crowd for someone to pass you your order. Too much confusion for me. Not my kind of flow. Especially not for a satisfying treat as ice cream. There is no inside seating, but there is seating right outside. So if you have patience and can deal with some chaos to get a treat check it out.

Strawberry ice cream SO YUMMY!!

This place is spacious. As soon as you walk in, it smells like sweet heaven. The service was friendly and quick. They have so many dessert options including ice cream flavors. They will you samples of any fudge or ice creams you're interested in. I asked for five different samples and each sample was given with a kind smile. I got one scoop of strawberry ice cream but it was almost two by how packed the cone was. I'm not complaining, just really grateful. The ice cream was soooooo delicious!

First time at a Kilwins, here in Atlanta- the sweets were so good, great selection and tryouts available. The store was clean and inviting with workers diligently decorating and friendly atmosphere! The service they provided was top notch, will certainly be visiting another location soon!

Me and my date spent Easter out and about in the city and we found ourselves at Atlantic Station both with a sweet tooth. Given it was a holiday, everything wasn't open but in the cut, we found Kilwins open. Neither of us had been before so it was the perfect opportunity. Kilwins ice cream and dessert bar is a wonderful spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. I had the pleasure of trying their double scooped ice cream waffle cone, with one scoop of butter pecan and one scoop of cake batter ($9.85). First of all, I have to say that the size of the scoops is impressive. They are huge and definitely worth the price. The waffle cone itself is also top-notch - crispy, flavorful, and not too sweet. While both flavors were delicious, I have to admit that the butter pecan scoop was the standout for me. It had a creamy, nutty flavor that was perfectly balanced and not too overpowering. The cake batter scoop, on the other hand, was a bit too sweet for my taste and lacked the depth of flavor that the butter pecan had. Overall, Kilwins ice cream and dessert bar is a great place to indulge in some tasty treats. I highly recommend trying their double scooped ice cream waffle cone, with them offering tons of different flavors.

It was a great experience in here. I was greeted upon arrival. The cashier was really nice. The service was good and we were able to sample a few fudges. My aunt got the pecan pralines and she loved it!

What a great find ! The sweet tooth in me was estatic for going inside by chance. I loved my turtle fudge and very affordable. A half pound for 5 dollars and it was delicious. The ice cream was about 8 bucks for a single scope and the milkshake for 11 dollars for small vanilla. The cashier was welcoming and scooper gave a big scoop for ice cream. The ambiance was full of sweet smells and caramel from the green caramel apples. One thing for sure is the limited amount of sitting. There one table inside and 4 outside, that's all.

Had the best experience here. Came because i wanted (read: needed) sugar. Saw the sign for ice cream and I was ALL for it...until I saw the fudge. They let me try a bunch of samples of the ice cream and even the fudge. Our cashier was so so friendly and asked about our day, our jobs, and we even had a little career powwow right there in the shop. After that he even gifted us with a few free chocolate covered strawberries since it was the end of the day.

Peanut caramel apple...

Peanut caramel apple... BOMB every single time. I've been coming here for years, especially when my parents would come to visit me in the ATL. My dad and I used to share one of these apples every time. Since he passed away, every time I come to Atlantic Station...I stop by this place to get one because it reminds me of my him. This past weekend I had a wonderful conversation with a guy named Chris who works there about my memories and love for these apples from this place. Super great guy! Go check this place out.

A family-owned business too - I happened there just after the scronuts were sold out for the day (be forewarned- they go fast)! The owner (I'm not sure if it's specifically female-owned vs family-owned) was so hospitable in tempering my disappointment (I was visiting the area). I instead went for a croissant breakfast sandwich (also a backup option as they offer this with the biscuit dough) and it was delicious. Not over-weighted on the croissant bread, it was just right. The next day, my colleague ordered ahead and got a box so I got to taste a variety of scronuts. It tasted like a slightly crispier coffee cake. While my colleague thought it was too sweet (she sugars her coffee), I had a black decaf with mine and it was just right. Our other coworkers also dug in and there wasn't any left over. Next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll be back for the food, and the hospitality. Thank you!

Monsieur Flaky - We came in late and they were out of croissants, but they offered it on a sourdough biscuit....my God. It actually makes me so mad that they are several states away from us. Georgia is so blessed to have them . This hit every savory note for me and was served piping hot with a biscuit that was crisp and lightly salted on the outside with the softest fluffiest composition inside. The second I bit into this I knew the sconut was going to wreck my life. Sconut - Yup. Devastated me. The cinnamon roll was hands down my favorite, but I'm willing to hop on a plane to try their lemon when it hits the shelves again. Typically, if a place floors you on a particular food item, they drop the ball on a side, dessert, or drink. That's not my rule it's just what traditionally happens. So I fully expected to take a few polite sips of matcha honey oat latte and grab something else later...so imagine my surprise when they rocked that too! Matcha based drinks are NOT easy to hit. They are very easy to slip up on and are somewhat dependent on how strong you like your matcha. Fortunately, they thought to ask us how strong we wanted our matcha and it was easily one of the best drinks I've ever had. I'm at a loss for constructive feedback. The only thing I could ask for is delivery options to Texas. We hope to return soon!!!

I've been a fan of the licorice strings since I was a kid--my mom loves them, and now my son does too. We went to the Atlantic Station location over the weekend--either Saturday or Sunday--and while the store itself is cute and colorful, the service left a lot to be desired. And honestly, it's not the first time I've had that experience there. Sometimes you walk in and get great service, and other times it's just rude. And that matters, especially in a space that's made for kids and families. Good service should come standard in a customer-facing role. This time, I went in with my mom and my 5-year-old son. He's pretty independent and knows how to go in and get his candy. When we got inside, he opened one of the candy containers to grab a bag and get his licorice strings. Nothing crazy. Out of nowhere, one of the employees--a dark-skinned young lady with braids in pigtails--shouted across the store, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" It was loud, unnecessary, and completely uncalled for. My son froze, confused. I froze. My mom froze. We didn't know what was going on. She rushed over, didn't ask a single question, didn't clarify anything--just grabbed the entire candy container and walked it behind the register. My son turned to me and said, "Mommy, what happened?" And I honestly didn't have an answer for him. He hadn't touched anything yet--he was just in front of the bin, doing what he always does. And even if she thought he had touched the candy, there was a much better way to handle it. You don't shout across a store at someone's child--especially when the parent is right there. A simple, "Hey, could you help him with that?" would've been just fine. It took everything in me to stay calm, because I was really upset. I didn't even want to buy anything after that. But we went ahead and got his licorice, and my mom picked up a few things. At the register, that same employee clearly picked up on my energy because her entire demeanor changed. But by then, the damage was done. It's disappointing because I actually like this store. The candy selection is fun--it's not full of specialty candies, but it's bright and cute and great for kids. Still, the service is what makes or breaks it, and in this case, it really broke it. This isn't the first time I've experienced this at this location, and honestly, I don't know if I'll be going back. If you do stop in, go for the candy. But don't expect much from the service.

Seeing as we were in Atlanta, it felt like the kids probably needed some of the cola gummy's. Had they been there, I'm sure they would've been jockeying for just about anything. There's a good specialty chocolate selection, though the options that included dark chocolate were unfortunately sparse. However, if you're a milk chocolate fan, they've got a lot of different options for you. There were lots of larger than normal options of things like sugar daddies, candy bars, as well as a bunch of $.25-$.75 candies. The yard of Snickers was probably the item that was the most intriguing while also being the least likely thing for me to buy on that particular day. The gumball selection was also very impressive, with the oversized gumballs ultimately being the choice for the kids. These gumballs were slightly larger than a golf ball that were filled with nerds. I think they were something like two dollars apiece, but it definitely brought more than two dollars worth of joy! These things were massive and came in about 6 or 7 colors, which made it easy to decide to get three of the same color so as to prevent a meltdown over how everyone else got the color they wanted!
