My daughter couldn't pass this chocolate without trying some.. and the young lady giving out the samples was super pleasant also. She didn't mind my daughter asking for more than 1 sample.. she finally decided to get the Georgia boy limited edition. She loved it... she said it was sooo good.. she had begged me to take her back for more..

I'm not a huge chocolate fan. I don't typically eat chocolate unless it's mixed with something, and I certainly never eat dark chocolate. Well that might change after indulging at Xocolati. Their chocolate was smooth and creamy. The crunch bar was a fav!

    Classic sipping chocolate

Love this place! Staff is so friendly, and everything is delicious! The sipping chocolate was so rich and yummy--and vegan! I also love the peanut butter cups and kissed mermaids bar. They give free samples too. Highly recommend!

Amazing booth at the market. I loved the oranges covered in chocolate. They were so pretty to look at and so good. Amazing prices and work. Nice chocolatier as well :) will be back

The best local chocolate ever!! There are so many different types of chocolate bars, peppermint bark for the holidays, and drinking chocolate with whipped cream! The chocolate is locally produced in ATL and there are samples for the chocolate bars which helped me decide on which ones to buy! Such a delicious treat.

Geez, I HATE to give a chocolate maker a bad review, but here it is. Understand that I know a fair amount about chocolate. I've made many batches myself, and I have a palate that gets sought out for its opinion by other makers and connoisseurs. So, that's where I am coming from. I tried Xocolatl for the first time around two years ago. My impression was their chocolate was similar to many other early stage craft chocolate makers. That is, the texture tended toward the pasty and gummy, and the taste was a bit too acidic and tannic. Both of these are usually processing flaws in the chocolate makers processes (they can also be from poor bean quality in the way beans are processed at the plantation, but that's not the case here). I wasn't impressed. So, I find myself in Atlanta two years later, and I had to try them again. My hope was they would have learned and progressed in that two years and would have fixed these process flaws. No such luck. Same "beginner grade" craft chocolate, and it's just not good. Same pasty to gummy texture. Same unpleasant acidity. They have many inclusion bars (chocolate with things with different flavors/textures added). I am pretty adamant that the base chocolate meet a minimum bar before I am interested in inclusions made from the same base chocolate. So, that means I didn't try the inclusions on this second visit (I did on the first visit and wasn't impressed--when the underlying chocolate isn't up to snuff, then inclusions just party hide flaws). I hope they step up their game and improve their processes. Until then, I won't be returning. Sad.

We found this fun shop during our latest Krog Street Market crawl. There is a massive and epic variety of chocolate available here, and they were offering free samples. The staff working during our visit were super knowledgeable and also friendly. I ended up trying the drinking chocolate because it was within my budget at $3.50 even though paying that for 4 ounces seemed slightly unhinged. This chocolate was super rich! I couldn't have done more than four ounces, it was so rich. It was soooo good, though. The prices are a bit dear for product, but this isn't Snickers or Swiss Miss, either. If you are in the market for a wide selection of items for an after meal treat that is locally owned, this is your place.

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

The employee was sitting down behind the counter just ignoring everyone who came in so quite literally the store was not being monitored and a few other customers mentioned how it would be easy to take. I wanted some gummies and went over to their selection but you can tell it is not maintained. Lots of stale gummies and or empty bins. It was rather disappointing. Once I was ready I was at the counter for about 12 minutes and I kept looking at the employee to see if they would come over. Eventually I said excuse me and he got up very annoyed. Didn't even greet me, tons of attitude and mumbled my total so low I couldn't hear it and had to rely on the screen for my price. I said thank you and he just ignored me and went back to his seat to completely ignore the other customers. It is pretty unfortunate that this location has such awful service.

Lolli and Pops, a store that markets itself as a whimsical haven for candy lovers, has proven to be…read moreanything but sweet when it comes to basic customer service and inclusivity. My recent experience on a Sunday evening (5:22 PM, to be exact) was not just disappointing--it was a glaring example of systemic indifference and selective engagement that has no place in retail, let alone a family-friendly establishment. From the moment my excited little one walked in--freeing herself from her stroller with the innocent enthusiasm only a child can muster--to the moment she proudly selected her lollipop and approached the counter, not a single employee could muster a "Hello," "How are you?" or even a perfunctory "Did you find everything okay?" Instead, the interaction was reduced to a robotic price quote, dead silence, then back to their conversation. No warmth, no acknowledgment, no effort. If the staff's exhaustion at the end of a weekend shift was the issue, then management needs to reevaluate scheduling or hire employees who understand that customer service is the bare minimum in retail. What makes this experience even more egregious is that this wasn't an isolated incident. On multiple occasions, I've noticed a pattern--certain customers are greeted warmly, while others (particularly those who look like me) are met with cold indifference. A simple "Hello" should not be a privilege; it should be standard. If your staff lacks the emotional intelligence to treat all patrons with equal respect, then your establishment has failed at its most fundamental duty. The most heartbreaking part? Watching my little one's bright-eyed anticipation wither into confusion when her simple joy was met with blank stares. Children remember these moments. They internalize them. And while she may not fully grasp the nuances of poor service or discrimination, I do--and I refuse to spend my money in a place that allows such energy to thrive. In 2025, consumers have endless options--and even more platforms to voice their dissatisfaction. If your employees lack the personality (or basic decency) to engage with customers, they have no business working in retail. And if management turns a blind eye to discriminatory behavior, then they don't deserve patronage. To Lolli and Pops at Perimeter Mall: You've lost not just my future business, but the business of my network as well. My coins--and those of my vendors--will be spent elsewhere, with establishments that understand respect, inclusivity, and the bare minimum of hospitality. To Potential Customers: Spend wisely. Your money and your energy should go to businesses that value you--regardless of what you look like or what time you walk in. "A candy store that leaves a bitter taste."
