We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

I made sure to take a picture of every shelf and display when I visited them this past Saturday. I had the triple chocolate and praline double scoop cup. The Praline had pecans, but it also had some kind of cookie/pie crust crumbles inside that added a really nice crunch. The triple chocolate was rich and deeply chocolate-y. I have only tried a couple of the chocolates thus far, but at $2.95/piece, they are competitively priced compared to similar shops. My mom got the dark chocolate fudge and it was gone before I could ask her about it. Luckily, I also got some dark chocolate fudge and a peanut butter chocolate fudge. I'm looking forward to it! They are currently looking for help, so if you happen to be into making chocolates or want to work in a unique type of store- this might be a fit for you! The employees were very nice and remained patient with us as we traversed the shop and snapped pictures of everything. They are a cash-less business, so bring your CC and earn some points! Right now, they are decorated from the upcoming Christmas holiday, but it seems the owner likes to set up different decorations and displays and offers unique items around various holidays. Their chocolates aren't quite as good as The Chocolate Fetish, but their local- which brings them up a peg for me!

The employee was sitting down behind the counter just ignoring everyone who came in so quite literally the store was not being monitored and a few other customers mentioned how it would be easy to take. Once I was ready I was at the counter for about 12 minutes and I kept looking at the employee to see if they would come over. Eventually I said excuse me and he got up very annoyed. Didn't even greet me, tons of attitude and mumbled my total so low I couldn't hear it and had to rely on the screen for my price. If the staff's exhaustion at the end of a weekend shift was the issue, then management needs to reevaluate scheduling or hire employees who understand that customer service is the bare minimum in retail. What makes this experience even more egregious is that this wasn't an isolated incident. On multiple occasions, I've noticed a pattern--certain customers are greeted warmly, while others (particularly those who look like me) are met with cold indifference. A simple "Hello" should not be a privilege; it should be standard. And if management turns a blind eye to discriminatory behavior, then they don't deserve patronage. To Lolli and Pops at Perimeter Mall: You've lost not just my future business, but the business of my network as well. My coins--and those of my vendors--will be spent elsewhere, with establishments that understand respect, inclusivity, and the bare minimum of hospitality. To Potential Customers: Spend wisely. Your money and your energy should go to businesses that value you--regardless of what you look like or what time you walk in. "A candy store that leaves a bitter taste."
