The soft serve at big softie was very good. I really loved the matcha one but I also tried my friend's vanilla one which was good as well. The line was very long on a Saturday night a little before close, showing just how popular of a spot it was. It moved quick though. They have a variety of toppings you can add. Lots of outdoor seating as well.

This location is pure perfection, but might be difficult to find if you're looking for something on Beltline level. Instead, take the elevator (or stairs, if you can find them) down to street level. The walk-up window is tucked in the corner by the wine store and the elevator. We got there minutes before closing and somehow there was no line. The current rotating flavor was a hibiscus sorbet and it was able to be swirled with olive oil. WOW - this is a winning combination!! I love the olive oil alone, but the combo with the hibiscus was perfect. Too bad it wasn't blazing hot, because that would have been a perfect treat for super hot weather. I can't wait to get back and try what's next!

I had visited this new beltline location with my wife this past weekend on Sunday. We had heard that it opened very recently, so we grabbed some lunch at Ponce City Market, and then stopped by here for dessert. It wasn't too difficult to find at all. It was basically right across from New Realm (on the beltline side) and down the stairs. You'll see it on your right when you come down. Upon arriving, we were greeted very nicely. We looked at the menu and decided what we wanted. They have a few year round flavors and a few rotating flavors. The flavors that they had when we were there were vanilla, olive oil, matcha (v), chocolate, peach sorbet (v), and oat vanilla (v.) I honestly like that there aren't so many choices for the flavors. I got vanilla and my wife got chocolate. They also have quite a few toppings (at least 10+) to choose from too. I got sprinkles with mine and my wife got these crunch balls, which were like these little crunchy chocolate balls. They were really good! You can also choose to get your soft-serve in either a cup or cone (waffle or cake.) We both opted for the cup, even though I was pretty tempted to get the waffle cone. The soft-serve was really really REALLY good. It was the perfect treat for being out in the heat (it was super hot and sunny when we were out.) I would definitely come back here in the future. I'm already thinking about getting that waffle cone the next time I come out! Big Softie has 3 total locations in Atlanta, with this Angier Avenue (Old Fourth Ward) one being the newest. They have one in Summerhill and then one in Poncey Highland. Big Softie also has merch too. So you can represent your favorite soft-serve ice cream without even being there! Maybe I'll get a shirt the next time I'm there...along with my waffle cone!

I was so thrilled to see Big Softie on the Beltline!! Once I got word of the new location, I headed there straight after work. The set-up is really cute and perfect for folks traveling by foot. They have a convenient walk-up window where you can place your order, and there's multiple seating options right outside of it. As always the folks behind the counter were really sweet, I am a frequent visitor at Little Tart Bakery (same owners btw) so I'm not surprised to receive great service as I have as their sister locations . I ordered the classic vanilla in a waffle cone, with choco cookie crumbs as my toppings. It was SO good. I love a good soft serve! It reminds me of Mr. Softee back at home. I look forward to see the expected success of this location and this overall brand.

I got the vanilla oat petite size with waffle cone, brownie bits and cookie butter hard shell. The cookie butter was great. The vanilla oat ice cream wasn't vanilla enough. The service was all right. We didn't really talk much but they were patient and waiting for us to order. The atmosphere is bad because this doesn't have indoor seating

We were staying in a hotel in downtown Atlanta and surprisingly we were within walking distance. It was a little hard to find at first because I'm not familiar with the area, but I eventually found this little gem of a bake shop. I honestly loved everything about it. When I walked in it smelled intoxicating, like freshly baked cinnamon rolls?? I'm not sure but it was heavenly. The decor is lovely, and if I lived nearby this is a spot that I would meet up with a girlfriend, share a sweet, and chat. The person working that day was very nice and answered all of my questions about the daily selection. I actually called the day prior to ask about a specific menu item (one of their pound cakes) and whoever answered the phone that day was super kind and helpful as well. I bought the banana pudding + the red and blue velvet cheesecake. Both were good, but the banana pudding was my favorite. I could tell it was homemade. I'm only bummed because we were only in Atlanta for two nights and their menu changes daily. Like, I wanted to come back and try more things! Next time we visit, I NEED to try the sour cream pound cake and the sweet potato cheesecake. Highly recommend you stop by and/or give them a call to ask about their daily items!

This is a bakery with a super cool selection of international cakes and collectibles. Japanese cream cakesC croissants, sweet-filled buns, on & on. It looks like quite a few items sell out, so it can be hit or miss if you have a favorite. We got our boba teas, a tiramisu, strawberry cream cakes to satisfy the sweet tooth(s), but I was so excited to see a chicken korean BBQ sandwich that I had to get one! OH-EM-GEE!! I will be back to the sandwich alone!! It didn't take too long for the hot sandwich despite it being nearly closing time on a Saturday. The staff was helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. The diner itself isn't fancy, and the tables could use some consistent cleaning and clearing. You get plastic tableware and napkins on your own. But it was warm in a cold evening and had plenty of places to sit in the evening. I can imagine it gets pretty packed for lunch. Not sure.
