I've been meaning to try Yonutz for a while but never made it in. Finally got to try after an Atlantic Station movie night, and unfortunately the experience didn't make me want to come back. Granted it was late, there was still an hour before closing. We waited a minute or two before anyone came to the front. When the cashier did come out, she didn't greet us at all. I don't think she said more than 3 words actually. Then, who I assume to be the manager, came out as we were about to leave and he was extremely pleasant and warm. The donuts looked great, but I was a bit disappointed. The one I had (with the marshmallow) was dry. They are very similar to Dunkin...and that's just not my donut vibe.

Yonutz is a new donut and ice cream shop in Atlantic Station. Yonutz is Known for their awarding winning " smashed " donut which is filled with ice cream and toppings. They also have donut milkshakes and donut breakfast sandwiches. I tried the biscoff donut and it was really good and fresh not overly sweet. Service was friendly and inviting. The ambiance was cute and colorful. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to try one of the smash donuts.

Really fun to try something new. There are lots of options here, and we wanted to try the donuts with ice cream inside. They basically slice a donut without a hole in half (think beignet), put a scoop of ice cream in the middle, heat it in a panini press, and then roll it in cinnamon sugar. Like a churro with ice cream, but harder to eat haha. It was such a nice treat, and there are lots of other options to add more toppings, or to get a donut with a milkshake. The service was decent, and there wasn't a long wait on a Friday night that was surprisingly busy in Atlantic Station. There are a couple tables inside but we decided to walk to the green space outside to eat while watching the kids run around.

The food was amazing! The SMASH donuts were LIFE CHANGING, and I will be BACK. This place is worth the hype, ignore the negative reviews, they're just fake. JAMAL IS THE GOAT!!

My daughter had seen this on TikTok so we tried it while we were in town. The employee gave us a great run down of the top favorites and the different products. He was really nice and informative. The tables could have been wiped down more and I had to go back and ask for forks ...other than that, this was our biggest indulgence on vacation because the calorie count is horrifying. But they were delicious. We got the Biscoff cookie and cookie dough. One down side to the cookie dough is the two types of cookies in it appeared to be cookie crisp cereal and another store bought cookie. Warm soft-baked would have made it more of a fresh taste.

Clean restroom always a good sign

We drove downtown specifically to try out this spot - paid $8 for parking in the lot next to the building. Front space Clean fun inviting feel with handwritten notes on wall. Service: The young lady helping was nice, but we waited at least 10 minutes before she came to the front to greet and assist myself and another customer before me. No pudding available Cobbler: had barely any crust (iyktyk) and the filling could use improvement. I think we were also supposed to get ice cream ? If so we didn't get it. I got the cinnamon roll with apple butter. I thought it would be throughout but it was on top, and the roll itself was a little dry. Purchase 2 peanut butter cookies that were huge for my son. While my dietary restrictions didn't allow me to partake, the girls and bestie enjoyed their treats. They just had ice cream and cones. We agreed that we'd have to come back a different time to try the donut/ice cream sandwich! There is a parking garage next to this storefront that is partially public parking and partially residential. The public parking is three dollars for 30 minutes. You have to pay it on your cell phone, and they charge a $1.20 service fee. So 30 minutes of parking is actually $4.20. This was just enough time for us to go inside order sit to eat and get back to the car with five minutes to spare. Luckily, we went in during a slow period, because we were able to order right away. Also, there is only bar top seating with four barstools, so it was the perfect amount of seats for those in my group who were eating. Most people who came behind us did a grab and go.

It's a part of a short strip of restaurants and it was an interesting walk into the ice cream shop to say the least. I mean there were young people outside screaming about shooting someone with their own gun.... hmm. Most of the restaurants (but not sweet stack) had an officer on duty which says a whole lot. The ambience once we entered was also pretty rough. Very sticky with a film over everything. They surely have a gnat problem. This place needs a good cleaning. Customer service was virtually nonexistent even before we arrived; I had called beforehand to make sure they didn't mysteriously close early as many ATL spots tend to do, and the woman on the line sounded absolutely miserable that I even asked. That energy was felt firsthand inside. But I'll give them a fair rating because their brownie sundae was good, and my husband enjoyed what he got as well. Good portions for the price. Extra points for being open kinda late. It just wasn't memorable because the environment was quite depressing. Last resort, not my first option.

The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I guess I must've written it off due to the parking situation, and I honestly would've never visited, but a friend suggested coming here, so here I am. It's very, very limited parking. I'm not sure if we're *allowed* to park in the nearby parking lots, and I didn't have to, but if there's only like 6 spaces with barely enough space for cars to pass through entering and exiting... idk, it's not for me, esp when Doraville can get v traffick-y and the turn lanes are just waiting. Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I like the nuttiness of black sesame in general, and I would've loved if they used more for a stronger flavor. The flavor was subtle, and with the ice and soft serve on top, got easily diluted.

We went to the amazing Atlanta aquarium, and the Yard is a short walk away. The menu is a good size, and there are a good variety of options, we had a hard time choosing. It was not very busy during our visit, considering how involved the shakes are to make, we did not want too long. Our group of three each got a milkshake jar. They are pretty pricy, you do get to keep the jar. I had the salted Carmel cheesecake. There was a bit too much whip cream. The shake itself was very good. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.
