All ladies cooking it so u know it's made with love( depending on your smile) not too fond of the potato salad, but it's because I'm a Mac salad guy which they also have! 25 years!!! 25 years of living around the corner from this place and today was my first visit. It's a tiny place, no table or chairs just a long counter with all the ingredients behind a glass just like subway, with a grill and kitchen in the back. For $1 more you can add 2 sides such as macaroni or potato salad, cookies, small chips, or a drink. Wow!! If Mr. M's is the best in Broward, Sub Center is the best in Dade. read more

Cheap but GREAT subs. If I didn't know any better, I'd think I was home in Philly. Except we call "subs" hoagies and don't talk with country accents up there. A "small" turkey and swiss with all the fixin's cost me $6.03, so slightly more than Subway, but 1000 times better. In fact, you'll never even bother wtih subway again. Everything was super fresh and the small was anything but. I have driven by this little joint and always wondered what magic goes on in there...well after the pursuit for a strong craving and desire for a Philly cheesesteak...I typed it into yelp and this place popped up so I decided to give it a try...boy o boy I didn't realize that those decision would change my whole life and attempt to keep my caloric intake to a minimum...my hubby bought me a Philly with the works and it was truly divine bread was perfectly moist the meat was nicely chopped and the fixings were fresh after this introduction this sandwich is a constant craving in my book! I'm from Philly and the subs at the Sub Center are the closest thing I had in Florida to a hoggie. Their Italian sub is truly outstanding!

Sign says they turn off the grill 1/2 hour before closing which would be 10:30 since they close at 11pm. I was inside the building at 10:13pm and the gentlemen stated that the grill was shut off so that it would not be a fire hazard for when they were closing. Clearly more than 45 minutes left till closing time. read more

If you want a "sub" , this is the place! Their portions are big and you cannot go wrong with any of the varieties of subs. Do not come here unless you have a stomach because you will be full afterwards. Delicious and staff is usually friendly. Tiny place with no seating. Not necessary!!! The portion of meat on the subs are incredibly generous. I have tried several of their subs but the fav is the steak and cheese sub!!! Chuck and his staff offer the most delicious subs and salads in the tri-county of South Florida. I have often traveled from West Palm for a 6 inch Tuna on wheat. The entire menu rocks, the bread melts in your mouth, and one salad can feed three people. read more

I would give less stars if I could. This place gets a HELL NAW TO THE NAW NAW NAW!! .. first the customer service is awful .. the girls get an attitude when you are choosing your ingredients and their demeanor is like theyre irritated. .. but I can get past that because it seems like piss poor attitudes are the norm in mom and pop like places down here ... I feel bad because the only star in the building was the owner .. he was vibrant and engagin... but here was my real gripe .. this is a place that serves sandwiches.. the portion size is very upsetting I paid 7 for a six inch sandwich and their literally was 3 slices of meat on my sandwich. .and I had an Italian. . Which is made of multiple meets .. there was no flavor .. subway has better quality ..and no that's not good but at least with subway you pay a decent rate.. there is no way you should be paying 7 to 12 bucks for a sun and you only getting 3 to 5 slices of meat.. I went with 4 coworkers and their sandwiches suffered from the same skimpy fate .. NEVER again .. I'm suprised this place had a line I've been to places like Big Foot or LA spadas in ft Lauderdale and the prices are actually cheaper but u literally get three times more food and the taste is far superior .. nor to mention you don't get the shitty customer service ... I've passed by this place numerous times on my way to Publix or Pollo but this was my first time trying it out. I had the Chicken breast sub and I must say I've had better at half the price these folks charge for a foot long. I'll give them credit for the amount of meat they pack into their subs when compared to Subway but other than that the sub was below average. If you want a decent sub at a decent price $7.25 for a foot long Chicken or Steak, check out Super Subs on West Dixie and 130 St. If your looking for decent food at a decent price keep looking, should have went to my favorite Haitian restaurant and ordered some fried fish with my $14. read more

Tuesday was the first time I ever had a sub from the sub center. I had a large tuna sub on a wheat roll, and wow this was the best tuna sub I ever had. The tuna had the perfect consistency for my liking. There was plenty of tuna as well. I like the way they put the lettuce inside, followed by the tuna. What I really liked is the cheese on top of the tuna, and the tomatoes on top of the cheese, and the olives on top of the tomatoes. It's not rocket science, but it's the perfect layering system because I only ate half the sub, and finished the other half Wednesday and the sub was perfect, not soggy. First time here! Clean and quick.Definitely the Best steak and cheese sub. Cookies are to die for and the drinks are super cold.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a food service establishment. Not only were the two women working rushing me to place my order , but there were extremely rude on top of it. They clearly did not want to answer a single question and definitely did not want to take anyone's order. God forbid you asked what came with a sub... all these ladies would do is roll their eyes and point at a sign above them. I felt as if I was bothering them the entire time, which is insane since they are working and are suppose to make me want to order from them. I honestly have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. I will never return to this establishment, and will never suggest that anyone else steps foot into this place. This is the kind of restaurant that I would be worried that the workers might spit in my food. Absolutely horrible! The worst service I have ever had in south Florida. PERIOD. read more
