Very small venue only enough space for maybe three adults to stand inside. First thing you see is this great display of patties and sweet. Very kind woman behind the door answers questions professionally. I went it the last hour before closing and woman behind desk was fresh faced and friendly. First time trying so I decide on a mixed dozen, 2 fish, 5 beef and 5 chicken. She packaged the fish alone just in case anyone eating those didn't want it mixed with other meats. I travel another 20 minutes and items when perfect on arrival. Guest loved the taste of the patties. A few people indulged in the extra carbs and forgot about diets. For me, while they smelled and tasted delicious I found they were lacking in amount of meat/fish filling. The pasty was 95% glorious flour and butter and maybe 5% filling. read more

I was craving haitian patties and couldn't remember the bakery my grandfather used to get them from when I was a child. I did a quick search and came across this bakery that seemed to have had decent reviews. I decided to give them a try. The parking lot is tiny, the bakery is even tinier.... With only about 5 people already in the bakery it was super packed. There is no seating, you can only order to go. The young lady taking the orders was very patient. I ordered a chicken patty, salt fish and herring patties and a peanut tablet (haitian peanut brittle). The chicken patty was so good, I wish I had gotten more. I didn't really care for the herring patty, I brought back the salt fish patty (which is usually my favorite) to my friend and she said she really enjoyed it! The tablet was good as well, again, I wish I would have gotten more. But, I know for next time! read more

Omg I fell in love with this place lol And plus it's literally right down the street from my house lol. I recently discovered this place on January 1,2025 when I get there it was a long line but it was Haitian independence but it was well worth the wait I had order box Haitian patties and of course some warm Haitian bread and when I get home it was over lol the patties are so delicious and ever since I've been going there and also I love their juice especially the passion fruit. 1/15/2026, I purchased a box of 12 Haitian patties (as advertised) only to come home and throw them in the trash. These are not Haitian patties and anyone who says so is an idiot. I paid $20.35 for some Phyllo dough pastries which are not Haitian patties. This is false advertising and it needs to stop. Needless to say, I will never go back. read more

I love this place. I go about once a month now. As someone who loves to go to Haiti and can't right now, this place is a little bit of heaven for me. They sell great pate, bread and bonbon!! My husband and I discovered this place about 2 weeks ago and we have been back twice already! We love the pate, pate kode, hot chokola & their powdered bag chokola, as well as their spaghetti!! This place has always been packed when we went but that tells you how good it is. It's good to order ahead. Also, the servers/workers have great customer service everytime we went! We love that! Continue to produce great food and service, you have loyal customers!!! I read a couple of reviews before driving here and I felt really good about visiting this restaurant. I went to this restaurant and it was a big mistake. As soon as I walked in to this establishment with my family, we were insulted. The worker at the establishment never greeted us and participated in brief hazing with the previous customers in Creole. Unfortunately for them we understood the disrespectful statements.The statement can't even be repeated because it was very harsh and rude. Everyone became silent when we translated the information out loud in English. It was incredibly awkward. At this time I just wanted to place an order and enjoy the food. However, it was one disappointing thing after the next. The worker had a bad attitude and intentionally moved slow in completing our order. Since the worker was still completing our order, we requested 2 slices of cake. The worker placed the cake in a carton but she didn't wrap it up immediately. Instead, the worker took another order and reached over our cake to take money. During this brief exchange, the worker's armpit was over the cake and her shirt sleeve touched the cakes. We stated we no longer want the cakes. The worker sucked her teeth and put the cake back on the cake plate. I know some restaurants have off days but this entire experience was ridiculous. read more

La Paix is a take away Haiti bakery. There are many in the area but I prefer their patties over the others. Their patties have a buttery biscuit like crust that I like, not like the usual Haitian patties I've tasted, that are very flaky (messy) and with little to no meat inside. They have the option of Beef, chicken and smoked fish herring, they even have it with boiled egg inside the patties. I only came in for the patties, but they had so many other things on the menu like spaghetti, soup, cakes and much more. I will definitely come back and try some more stuff on the menu and if it's as good as the patties they'll get 5 stars. read more

There are all kinds of sweets along with a variety of meat pastries and the famous soft Haitian breads. You can also find Haitian peanut butter, AK-100, avocados and so many more. I recently asked a friend who was traveling from Florida to bring me back some goodies from La Paix Bakery and I am so glad I did. I received an assortment of breads, patties and sweets. Everything was fresh and tasty, but the crown jewel was the bread, with a nice golden crispy crust and moist interior that just melts in your mouth. Even after I froze some of the bread so it could keep longer as I received many bags and could not eat them all in one sitting, it still had that fresh out of the oven taste! I love this place. Been coming here for years for my Haitian patties and treats. They've upgraded a bit. Made the shop smaller, but added more sweet treats and more variety of patties to keep up with the times as people I guess are asking for different things to be placed inside of the patties. Oh well, whatever...I'll stick with the originals and what I know to be awesome. From their fresh baked Haitian bread, which you'll walk out eating before you reach your car , to their patties which you'll wish you bought more of if you think 2 will do. Their bonbon amidon will melt in your mouth and you'll by enough to pack on a good 10 lbs, but it'll be worth it. I'm sure there are plenty of Haitian bakeries nearby but in my 25 years of being in the area, this place has not disappointed me yet and places have come and gone, but these people have still been around.
