To be blunt, the shop looked dingy in need of some TLC but sometimes the best food is in unsuspecting places that dont emphasize on decor but only the quality of the product. Well, this was one of those places. A quick check of the gender neutral bathroom revealed a clean and simple no frills room. Now, back to the counter, and while viewing the small wall menu, it was evident by the pricing that they were not trying to burn a hole in your wallet. Every patty were under $3.00 and the sweet cakes too. Noticed that they did not offer a spicy beef which are my favorite but went with the plain beef patty but without added hot sauce. The patty was larger than my goriila sized hand and the sheer weight was impressive. The steaming hot beef densely packed the firm flaky crust. No outside patio to sit and eat so we drove off with our treat. My wife and I carefully took small bites at every stop light as the flakes fell onto our laps and the center console. The beef had a mild tasty flavor and the crust was spectacular. The wife, not being a patty enthusiast, was surprisingly pleased with the taste and said we have to visit Taste Rite again.

The quiche they offer is traditional Quiche Lorraine and a green quiche which is made with arugula, Gorgonzola and parmesean cheese. They were out of the cinnamon raisin bread but I heard that it's delicious ! Croissants include Nutella, butter, chocolate and almond. Their danish includes strawberry, Nutella and blueberry. I bought one of the blueberry danish and it was great. It had soft, flaky pastry with fresh blueberries and some powdered sugar on top. Can't wait to go back and get another one! Cinnamon rolls and berry rolls are made fresh on Friday and Saturday so I had to get a cinnamon bun. My husband and I really enjoyed it. We also got a baguette which managed to be both crunchy and soft at the same time and we really enjoyed this as well.
