Cold sub is gross . Gross bread. Very little meat . Abs the size is a joke lol . The meats are pre sliced. So when I ordered my Italian sub, the meat was already sliced. It was gross. All the fresh vegetables was not failed to the top or anything containers of all the vegetables was half empty. The food is always phenomenal -- hot, fresh, and delicious! Overall, the customer service was great, except for the short Black girl who was cooking the meat. Her attitude was terrible. I ordered for delivery and while not the worst sandwich I've had, definitely far FAR FAR from the best. The bread was cool, but the turkey was too thickly sliced but the worst part was the veggies. My sandwich has a tablespooon of lettuce, a sprinkle of onion and peppers. When I order a sub the accompanying veggies are just as important as the meat and cheese. The thickness of the meat probably would have been excusable if there was more lettuce, tomato, onions and peppers. Given the presentation, I doubt I'll be back. read more

I get a tuna sandwich and they chop eggs in there for me and it's amazing they even cut into threes, I live down the street. The bread was soft but firm, the ingredients was fresh. Even though it was basic ingredients on a sub but the way the lady put it together it was humongous and very filling. i'll start off with saying the food is great. i have zero complaints about the food. i will type my complaint in all caps because of how important it is to address this issue... we are fighting the coronavirus. it makes no sense that the entrance of sub city is the door on the north side of the store. because of this, when you enter you have to stand near the cashier which is immediatly there when you walk in. then, when the cook is ready to prepare your order you have to walk down the little aisle and pass 4-5 people who are also placing or waiting for their order to be ready. the goal is to social distance but i have to walk past all of your customers just to place an order? backwards. an easy solution is to open the door closest to 199th street that way people can actually social distance. it also allows for a line to form outside without causing a disturbance to customers coming and going. once that door on 199th is open its a seemless process. walk in the door closest to 199th street, place your order, wait for your order, then exit out of the northside door. it is also a more effecient way to control traffic within the restaurant. my experience with the food is a great one but i would hesitate going back if proper measures are not put in place for everyone's safety. those greasy subs are the bomb tho! i hope management looks into this comment and considers making a change. read more
