Energy efficiency was my priority so I want the best price and best windows which seems to be very hard. But Jay (the project manager) made sure I got what I wanted. The team went out to install 40 windows and they absolutely did an excellent job. They were super friendly and professional. I'm very neat and detailed so they made sure all windows are cleaned and properly installed. After installing, they vacuumed and even mopped the floor for me. I'm very pleased with their work !

Ben was our point of contact throughout the entire project. He came out to take the initial measurements, talk through the project, and generate a quote. It was a complete zero-pressure experience. After receiving the quote I made an appointment to visit the showroom (though Ben also offered to bring some window samples to the house). We really liked the windows (Sunrise Restorations) and moved forward with the project. The installation went flawless! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and usually have to stop myself from nitpicking on small little flaws from general contractors, but American Windows did such a stellar job I couldn't find a single flaw in their work. They were incredibly patient throughout the process, helping us locate the exact replacement and making sure the color perfectly matched the existing shutters. I wanted to go with a local, small business and I thought I was making a good decision. However that decision came crashing down. After signing the contract, you need to put down a deposit so they can order the materials. I was waiting for the initial check from my insurance company. The Project Manager, literally would call me every day asking whether I had received the check. I told him I would let him know when I received it. On a Monday or Tuesday (exact day slips my mind). I told him I would have the check on Friday. The Project Manager STILL called me everyday checking on the status, even though I had told him when I would have it. When I gave the initial deposit, radio silence. While in this waiting time, I discovered a leak coming through my sons ceiling. Pretty much every roof around our house, the contractor had tarped the roof. Freedom had not, they said the insurance said it didn't need to be tarped. I believe that some of the other contractors took the initiative to tarp the roof prior to the insurance company coming out to protect the roof. I wrote a scathing e-mail to Freedom and they took pictures of the damage and submitted the claim to my insurance. (They said if insurance didn't cover the claim they would do it for free. A decent gesture, but since insurance covered it, more $$$ in their pocket. More on this later) I was told materials would be delivered between X time and Y time, and please have your vehicles out of the driveway. Materials came before X time and my wife had to move the cars, while dealing with 2 small children. I received a call from Freedom telling me they were going to be getting to my roof soon, and would let me know when the roofers would come. Imagine my surprise when I go down stairs on a Saturday morning at 7 am and there are roofers prepping to start my roof. No call, no nothing. My roof, took about a day and a half for the roofers to complete. My neighbor, with a much larger, more complex roof. Less than a day. Back to the ceiling leak. Freedom came and took pictures and sent them to my insurance. After not hearing from my insurance company for a while they asked me to follow up. I called and they didn't have a record of the submittal (this was my insurances fault as the insurance person handling my claim had left the company). A few days later my Project Manager from Freedom called as said the claim had been rejected and they were submitting final payment information to the insurance. A few days after that, my insurance called to say they had approved to claim. The Project Manager straight up lied to me!!! The insurance company would have called me if they had rejected the claim. Ceiling in my sons room gets painted. The painter they used was awesome! Best part of the whole experience. A sub-contractor. Then the calls/text begin again wanting money again, Project Manager screwed up invoicing, so he had to fix that. Pretty much the whole 6 month process has been a horrific nightmare. My neighbor asked who I used for the roof and I told him not in a million years would I use them or recommend them to anyone.

Let me start by saying that I had 3 different companies give me quotes for the siding and almost 3 months ago one of the Reps from Paramount Builders came out to my home and he was great, very nice, polite and knowledgeable. He told me that the siding that I was looking at was the most popular and that they have a very good stock in their warehouse and that this project should only take between 4 - 6 weeks to complete. well we signed the contract on 6/13/24 and had a bad storm where my siding was falling out and i sent the rep a text with pictures (on 6/26/24) and he was going to look into it but he never got back to me so i hired someone to come out and secure the siding back until i get the new siding changed. I kept waiting and waiting but no response. Today 8/6/24 i called Paramount and i talked to Theresa she was very rude i was explaining to her what happened and she cut me off and said she would transfer me to someone else, then the 2nd person was also rude and said that she will find out and call me back and that her GM would call me with an answer because she didn't know what to say except to say congratulations because the material are finally in the warehouse. I asked about cancelling and she said she has to ask and have the GM call me. When the GM Sherry when she called she was also rude, i was explaining what happened and i told her what the other person said "congratulations your materials are in, we called you on Tuesday to see if you have time next Tuesday for the install" Sherry said yes we called you to find out if we can install next Tuesday but that was a lie no one called me at all, if i didn't call today after 3 months i would have been still waiting for someone to call me. When i told Sherry that i got my siding fixed because of the lack of communication and service to me (the customer) so i told her that i wanted to cancel, Sherry as a GM of this place dealt with situation in a very unprofessional manner and said that i have to pay 35% of the cost which is about $13,000 which in this economy is ridiculous to have a person pay that amount after giving a $3,00 down payment (which was cashed in as soon as i gave them a check). my understanding is that their customer has to be 100% satisfied with the service and product which i am 100% DISSATISFIED with the entire company due to the most unprofessional customer service experience. not only did they not install in a timely manner, but they are also threatening me to steal my money. i would like the owner/vice president to call me and give me my $3,000 back. I will NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone. This company is past the deadline and I was sold some siding under false pretenses, the sales rep said it was supposed to be done in a certain about of time (4 to 6 weeks) and that time has come and gone.

I purchased a full trim wrap package as preventative maintenance on my new home. My wood trim was…read morein good shape, but there is a ton of wood on the exterior of my house and I figured that getting it wrapped would give me some peace of mind. The quality of the work is atrocious. There are certain sections that are passable, but the majority of the project looks awful. There are large bulges on nearly all of the corner posts and most of the panels on the bay windows, and it has been getting worse over time. Worst of all, this summer, just a little over a year since I had the installation done, I have had a lot of humidity problems in my home. Turns out the crew did not remove the existing vents or wood under the fascia, which was specified in the contract. So now I have basically no attic ventilation due to the existing small vents having the vented vinyl fascia overlapping. I attempted to resolve many of these issues last year, but didn't have much luck. They sent the original crew out once and they did nothing but add more caulking over top of their original bad caulking job. After they failed, I was put in touch with their one-man repair crew. He was always under the impression that he was only coming out to 'trim the patio doors', which the company had decided to throw in to make up for the issues I had. I explained multiple times that I had several issues that needed to be addressed, and yet I kept hearing the same thing, even after he had arrived one day and I explained it in person. I sent pictures of all of the issues to the company and even had my salesperson come by and see them in person.

RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing.
