Service was great, such friendly staff. Atmosphere was very dated but nostalgic which was fun! The food really lacked. The nacho chips seemed to be fried in old oil, dry taco meat, tomatoes, onions and melted cheese. The fries were surprisingly squishy and oily for how dark they were, undercooked yet overcooked. We probably wouldn't come back because the food was just not great but the atmosphere and the staff were really wonderful. read more

We hadn't been to this restaurant for awhile and decided to have breakfast. The prices had risen dramatically for the stuff. I believe almost double. The baby cake not on the menu was about the same,( $7.95 about $2 cheaper than a short stack. It is a large pancake but in my opinion very overpriced. The Stuff again was a lot of potatoes but very skimpy on the gravy for ($14.95). The service was mediocre at best. Waiting long waits for refills, water and the to go box. I usually tip 20% (not on tax) and only tip less depending on service. Only 10% this time. Very disappointed and will not rush back. The food was good except for the skimpy gravy which is the only reason to order the stuff. The atmosphere is enjoyable in my opinion. read more

Hubby and fam ended up here while on a desperate search for breakfast and this place did not disappoint! The portions are HUGE- so keep that in mind when ordering. I ordered the "tiny stuff" which is hash browns with ham, onions, peppers, topped with gravy... perfectly seasoned-SO GOOD! My son ordered a pancake with strawberry topping- the pancake was as big as his head! My daughter ordered a chocolate pancake- SHE LOVED IT- also as big as her head! Finally I had a chance to bring The Wife and The Tax Deduction here, however this time it was for dinner. I wanted to try this place from both ends of the eating spectrum to see if it was a one trick pony breakfast place that does dinner or if it is the perfect eating establishment. It is the perfect eating establishment. On the way home from visiting relatives in Olympia we decided to stop and eat dinner. I knew exactly where I wanted to take them and wasted no time in suggesting Stuffys II. We were seated immediately looking at a table full of their cinnamon rolls wrapped for delivery. And while yes, they serve breakfast all day long, this was an exploratory mission to the dinner side. The Wife claimed that her Garden Chef's Salad was one of the best salads she has ever eaten. This is no small praise as The Wife is the undisputed queen of salads. The Tax Deduction gave high marks to his grilled cheese with "smiley fries". I had the Maryland Fried Chicken Breast. This is a honey-stung batter fried chicken breast served with country gravy and real bacon sprinkled on the top. Yeah, it was even better than it sounds! So, the jury came back and Stuffys II is not a pretender, not a one trick pony, it is an amazing place to eat. If you are traveling I-5 to or from Seattle and need something around Kelso this is your only choice. read more

We came here 3 years ago. We purposely drove here on the way to the coast again to eat the amazing gorilla burger! I don't know if it is the bread or the meat or the sauce or all that cheese the whole thing but we love it!! We love this burger so much! We also wanted the huge cinnamon roll! We were a party of 12 and we only could eat half of it! It is huge. My daughter got the kids Mac and cheese and it was glorious! Homemade Rue cheese sauce! This was a fun family joint to pop into while on vacation. Good, simple food with large portions. Drinks: My girlfriend ordered a coffe that was weak and tasted like cardboard. I stuck with a water. Food: The food is impressive in terms of size and while I wouldn't consider the taste to be exceptional it hit the spot. My girlfriend ordered the Breakfast Burrito which was massive. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Very unclean and bugs found in their food display. If you don't believe me, just walk right in and take a close look at the bugs crawling on their cinnamon rolls in display. Mind blowing! Who knows what else is in their food. read more

I love Stuffy's for staying open during the shut-downs. It was a comfort to pick up good warm food after a long drive when you are too tired to cook for yourself or family. They suffered enormous fines from our stupid government for not shutting down. I will always love them for standing up while the government power hungry idiots where destroying businesses left and right. We now know from outcomes in Florida that the shutdowns had no effect on the virus, but destroyed the economy of our local small businesses. read more

Not very good. We used to go there often. Last time we were there it was not good. We ordered something different, only thing I could see was that he had fish and fries and I had sandwich and fries. It must of been the fries that made us sick. My husband never gets sick after eating a meal. We agreed that it was the french fries. We have been back. The fries did not taste very good. read more

I've eaten here alot! In fact this was one of the first places I got to try when I moved up here! The breakfast is to die for as it's made tasting as good as home made ( or better if you don't cook well). The decor is that of a diner with everyone dressing to match, makes a very unique vibe. One thing everyone will notice first is that you can order enormous cinnamon rolls that look and taste amazing! Makes a great "cake" for any birthday.
