Studio Three has everything to offer and then some! I have tried classes on all 3 levels and am always amazed by the variety, level of professionalism/mindfulness, and the challenge provided in each class. They offer a wide variety of awesome themed classes and challenges, one of my favorites being the Animal Flow class offered with Dustin last summer! The cycling studio always provides an insane cardio challenge with their skilled instructors and top-of-the-line Peloton bikes. I have participated in their March Madness challenge and love the healthy competition that gets stirred up with this annual competition! My only qualm is that, if you are driving to Studio Three, parking can definitely be tricky and is limited to metered parking available on the busy streets nearby. Parking aside, this is an amazing fitness option in the River North/Gold Coast area that offers a little bit of something for everyone. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are free and in the area. While a little bit pricey for individual classes here and there, it is such a treat to work out here! read more

I'm obsessed with Cycle 45 (and if you're feeling particularly devilish, Endurance ride). This studio is, first of all, a basic b*tch's dream, and also pleasant for a girl like me who still works out in tee-shirts from 1997. It's giant, clean, with friendly workers, has a beautiful cycling studio on floor 1 and a yoga studio on floor 2 that I've never been to. Plentiful lockers, seats, whatever. TBH, I wasn't a believer in cycling, nor a believer in motivational exercise. Motivation for me means McDonalds is nearby, enough said. I've been to 20 cycling classes now through class pass, and I've been borderline obsessed with each one. Every instructor I've had has been uniquely energetic, motivating, sometimes hilarious, and inspires me to leave my dumb preoccupations at the door and "just ride." And they mean it. They live and breathe this studio and make you drink the kool-aid as well. The workout is amazing for the following reasons: 1) it satisfies my ADD requirements with exercise, every time I think it's getting tough, the instructor changes what we do and I am redirected and motivated 2) it's HARD. Works up a giant sweat, and is over before you know it. 3) Distracts you with 2 minutes of arm exercises toward the end, so the flow keeps going but you have an end in site. 4) Towels, ear plugs, and shoes provided. (PSA PLEASE WEAR EAR PLUGS YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THE DAMAGE YOU ARE DOING TO YOUR EARS (I'm a doctor, you can trust me.)) 5) The bikes. Oh the bikes. They are INCREDIBLY smooth and comfortable and I never feel like my butt is numb and going to fall off (this can't actually physically happen, again, I'm a doctor). Cons: few, but present. The studio can be intimidating- everyone in the studio is pretty, totally fit, wearing the cool workout gear, and you walk by a counter serving $9 acai bowls on your way in. Forget this, nobody cares, everyone's here to ride. Also, some people are concerned that the screen is visible to your neighbors, I say screw this, I'm here for myself. Don't worry, again, nobody cares. read more

Great classes, good amenities CLASSES: I think they have a great variety of classes here. Torch: This is similar to orange theory-1/3 Treadmill, 1/3 Rowing, 1/3 Weights. This is definitely an intense class that will get your heart racing. Hi-def: Yoga in a heated room. I will say that this is also very similar to Core Power Yoga, if not almost identical. Very intense workout with a mix of cardio and weights. My one irritation with this class is that the instructors don't use a microphone and are literally screaming the entire class over the music and you can't hear what they are saying. I find this to be extremely annoying. Microphone, please. Spin: High energy spin class and you are able to see your stats on the board which can be motivating. If you are not into the competition aspect, you don't need to pay attention to this and can just do your own thing. Performance Stretch: I love this class to recover from my week of workouts. This is a pretty chill class that involves in-depth stretching. I totally zen out in this class and it's a great way to relieve stress. STUDIO: This is a full amenity, well kept studio. They provide towels, ear plugs (highly recommended in spin), shower supplies, water fountains, lockers, etc. They also have a smoothie/cafe in the entrance if you want a bite. Overall, great mix of classes in a clean and well stacked studio. read more

This is a review for mostly the cycling, as I've only been 1 yoga class and no interval classes. Cycling at studio three is truly fantastic. I had tried a few other studios and come away feeling generally "meh" about the entire experience. I'm not really into cycling (in real life or in a studio) as compared to other exercises, but Studio Three made me a believer. First, the instructors. After taking classes at multiple studios, I've learned my favorites and cautiously stayed away from the "not so favorites". I've taken classes from Sayre, Erin, Sho, and Andrea and loved all their unique styles. (My favorite has to be Bobby Gouse - shoutout to him and his playlists!) Everything is timed down to the second. You always feel like you are getting them on their absolute best day, no matter whether it's 7:30 at night or 4:30 on a Sunday (both times I've taken classes). I also really appreciate the facilities. I walk in and everything is taken care of: you get signed in 2 seconds, get shoes, and someone can help you with your bike immediately. (The bike guy is super nice! Don't be scared of asking for help!). It's always super clean. During the ride, prepare for tons of lights and music. This works for me because I really can get into the mood of the class. Although there can be a lot of bikes (I think there's 60+), you aren't "on top" of each other due to the stadium seating. After such great experiences with cycling, I went to take a yoga class. It was a very traditional flow with a bit of "heat" (85 degrees instead of true hot yoga). I'm not the biggest yoga fan, but this was a bit of misfire for me. While everybody else got a lot out of it, I was wondering why I hadn't just booked a spinning class downstairs. The yoga teacher was professional, and the flow was very technically perfect, so overall I can't fault it. This is a great option for Classpass and I'm truly considering the plunge to full-on membership! read more

Studio Three is my home away from home. They have everything you could ask for: yoga, spin, interval training, a smoothie cafe, cute workout gear, and big locker rooms with lots of showers. It only opened up a couple of years ago and is already super popular and everyone who works there is welcoming and nice. It's also cool cause I see people of all shapes, ages, and genders here. OH and the spin bikes are Peloton bikes which are the BEST. Some teacher favorites: Yoga: Gina, Stephanie, and Courtney (even though I can't handle the sculpt style classes, they're too much for me) Spin: Erin, Sayre, Andrea, and alot of people love Antonia, and she's super fun, but she once played a horrible scream-y Marilyn Manson song and after that I just can't possibly go back Interval: they're all pretty good it's just such an intense workout that I barley ever go Anyway - just go here. I was on class pass for a while and found it through them, but theres so much variety here that there's no point in having class pass when you've got this place! read more

Work smarter, not harder! I only went once, since I was visiting Chicago for a conference. The studio was easy to find, is large and light. There are lockers, showers, and towels, which is unique, as I visited other studios during this visit which did not have lockers or showers. There is also a little cafe with coffee and smoothies. I attended an interval class which includes rowing, treadmill, and weights. The class itself was a lot of fun, but less than impressed with the instructor who failed to greet me nor showed me how to utilize the rower. The woman next to me helped me a few times. She showed me how to use; it is not hard, but I did not know. These were not the same as rowers that I used before. The class is set up similar to Orange Theory. There are rowers, treadmills, and weight set ups with benches. I had a great workout and felt it was very challenging! I chose a spot at the rower first, though treadmill should have been my first, since it's the hardest (to me!). We would change every few minutes to go to the treadmill or floor/weights. The person in front of me would stay on the treadmill longer than she should, cutting into my time - annoying!! No one said anything. The class was fun, but less than impressed with an instructor who does not greet new people nor help. read more

Great studio with great amenities. Visited the Cycle 45 via the class pass and it was fantastic. It was the first time I was visiting this studio. The front desk is very friendly and helpful, they have self locking lockers, showers and ample space to store your stuff. For the cycle class they provide special shoes for the Pelotone bikes. The bikes are incredible, the class is fun and high energy. The instructor, Bobby was fantastic - energetic and fun!! The vibe of the class is very upbeat, the lights are more club like, the music is awesome and the 45 mins just flew by. The Pelotone bikes have a display where you can see where you stand in the class if that's your thing. I loved that he incorporated some upper body workout with weights while we were cycling. At the end of 45 mins, I was sweaty, tired and felt like I had accomplished something. read more

I got a gift certificate for 5 classes at Studio Three. I'm someone who finds a hard time staying motivated to use my gym membership and do the same exercises every day, so I LOVE fitness classes! If you're like me and needed group classes to get you excited to workout, and need variety to spice up your routine, Studio Three accomplishes just that. The 3 classes I've taken so far: - Yoga with Lauren B - Torch with Dustin - Cycle 45 with Antonia All of these instructors were great. Dustin's class fills up super fast, but I got in off the waitlist, so hedge your bets and add yourself to the list! Added Tips: 1. The policy if you're running late is to call and let them know, otherwise they can give your spot away. However I was running a couple minutes late and called 3 times (15 minutes before class) and no one answered. So be on time! 2. My classes were about to expire but I was out of town for work and wasn't going to be able to use them. I called to see if there was anything that could be done, and they extended my expiration date by 2 weeks! So helpful and can't wait to use my remaining classes. read more

I've been an avid class pass user since 2014 and in the last few years I have been to hundreds of classes in Chicago. Although I have preferred studios (shred415, flywheel, studio three, title boxing) and types of workouts (HIIT, boxing, something that really makes me sweat!), it really comes down to having a quality instructor. I love the interval studio here (I've also tried Barry's and Orange Theory and personally prefer studio three and Shred). I've never been disappointed after taking a class lead by Dustin or Caullen. Highly recommend them if you want to be pushed to your max. The music is always on point and they always make sure you have the right weights. Also, classes are started on time and you're working for the full 60 mins, none of that 52 mins/long breaks + 8 minutes of stretching bs. There's no way you'll breeze through this class. Check them out! read more

So I've been to this studio a few times courtesy of classpass! Started with Hot Yoga - Well it wasn't really hot. The a/c wasn't working, they knew this, but didn't inform their students. Uhm.. if a gal drags all her stuff across town (30 minutes) expecting hot yoga, then guess what?! I want hot yoga. Second, I didn't love the class. The instructor was QUITE the talker. I'm for some friendly chatter, but don't take me out my zen! Tried Torch - the tri-fecta! It was running, weights, and rowing (the House of Cards style machine). I thought it was great. We cycled through each exercise twice. Don't be like me - arrive a few minutes early to get a quick demo on the machine. There isn't enough time once class starts! Then Cycle - I've had the pleasure of taking it twice. My first instructor was bomb.com, the second one was like no-way. Sadly, I can't find who I took classes with (may be worth a call). But the room is sick! Lights, music, set-up, peleton (I can see the craze).. I almost died trying to keep my position in class, so worth it! This studio is by far my favorite for amenities: Showers, towels (face & shower), shampoo & conditioner, soap, lotion, and large & small lockers with keyless pad for security. I've never waited for a shower which you appreciate for early morning workouts or trying to get a quick workout in before afternoon drinks. I appreciate this place and I'm glad I gave them another try after my yoga miss. Highly recommend it.. you'll figure out your favorite instructors in no-time. Enough variety in one place. read more

Love their concept! The 3 amigos: spin, yoga and boot camp in one studio. The space is pretty big for being in the city. We found this place googling indoor cycling as we wanted to take advantage of all the boutique fitness studios in the area. My man is a cyclist so for him go cooperate is a big deal as he laughs at indoor classes but this studio got his seal of approval. I only wish we founded it earlier as they offer week passes for first time visitors for a flat fee. We got the first class for $13 but if you are in town longer and love good workouts I would definitely recommend the week pass so you can try different instructors and classes. The only downside Is it gets packed! We took the 4:30 spin class which had room but as soon as we got out it was like a club! People of top of each other trying to get out and in of classes. I like the fact that you can do doubles- start with a boot camp and then take your yoga class after. Kudos to the creators of this concept. It beats having al la carte memberships at different studios and love that they have a chilling out area by their juice bar. It makes it for a great Meetup with a friend or business meeting you can sip of coffee, tea, juice or grab a bowl. Wish they had more locations... and of course a little less pricey would be nice on monthly memberships but I understand it's a business! Will come to this studio anytime I'm in the city. read more

Studio Three definitely lives up to the hype. You're able to consistently switch up your workout routine with one membership which you really can't beat. I took the Cycle 45 class and absolutely loved it. They provide the shoes and help you get set up quickly if needed. The ride was very smooth and I liked how there is a screen to show you your stats while you ride. For those that are competitive you may enjoy checking your ranking throughout the class. Jacqueline had a fire playlist and really pushed us in the class. They have numerous showers in the locker room and provide towels, shampoo, soap, blow dryers, etc. Best thing is you can end your workout with Graze smoothies/açaí afterwords read more

I'm visiting Chicago from Texas and still wanted to workout. My friends and I decided to do the unlimited week on the recommendation on the manager Chris. We took all three levels of studio three. On the first day we did Spin which they described as rhythmic choreography spin. While I've taken CycleBar in Texas I wouldn't say you get as challenging of a workout here but the instructors energy was a 10/10 in the morning and great playlist. We ask did full body burn which is a orange theory type workout which was very fun and a great switch us. We then did hot flow yoga, the class was very big for a yoga class but the instructor was very nice. With the selection of classes, sweet instructors, and clean facilities I would definitely recommend going to this studio if you're visiting Chicago and still want to get a workout in! read more

Boutique studio, great location, and variety! With spin, hiit, strength training and yoga. Spin: They poached some of the best instructors from the leading spinning studios for their Peloton concept. The studio has more space than the others in Chicago (hello personal space) and the bikes overall seem like a smoother ride with more consistency between the bikes. I often feel like I get "hard bikes" and "easy bikes" at other studios, but I have never felt that way at Studio Three. Instructors and music are incredible, with a little bit of disco lighting thrown in. I also like that the mini screen has a time countdown, so you know right where you stand. Yoga: Beautiful spacious studio on second floor with natural lighting. The provide FREE mats that are great quality, so I appreciate that I don't have to lug my mat around or can stop by afterwork without bringing a mat to work. Interval: Although I love this style of class, this is my least favorite of the three classes offered. They have Woodways, but the studio is a little crammed and the instruction isn't as clear as Shred415 or Barry's. I also find the changes to be a little time consuming- still a great workout, but compared to similar style classes, I book elsewhere. Front of house is great, always friendly and helpful read more

If Studio Three was in the 'burbs I would happily be a founding member. They have cornered the major motivator behind working out (for me): variety. You might be saying - Nicole, there are lots of gyms that offering variety. And you'd be right - I could go a gym for the varied cycling, cardio, and yoga, but Studio Three amps up the ante. Why? 1) The studio is gorgeous. So clean, modern and filled with thoughtful amenities. And there's a juice bar. Comon' now. 2) Cycling shoes, towels, and yoga mats are all taken care of. 3) The staff is all incredible friendly and welcoming (to all levels of fitness). 4) I had a love/hate relationship with the Torch class. Even though it was pretty damn challenging, Dustin was an awesome instructor and I loved the variety. 5) The breadth of classes is interesting - from music to exertion. Studio Three, please come out to the 'burbs. I'll be your BFF. read more

Highly recommend Studio Three Purchased an unlimited off peak membership last November. Best decision I've made for my own personal health and fitness. I go to 3, sometimes 4 classes/week and the instructors, facilities, and studios are top-notch. Easily pays for itself because you learn quality moves and good form without being pressured. Each instructor is unique and know how to motivate you. read more

Three stars purely for clean, nice facilities and front desk staff. The Amped 45 at 12:15 on a Saturday wasn't worth a classpass credit. It was so bad, I literally walked out 30 minutes in. Shannon blatantly ignored the fact that people were rowing with improper form and not doing the strength training exercises correctly. She also didn't work out once the whole time (so not motivational), had an awful playlist and couldn't keep track of the timing on her intervals. I'm pretty sure I heard "oh I mean 30 seconds, whatever" like four or five times. My friend even asked her for help with proper deadlift form at the end of class and Shannon basically ignored her. After a great experience at another rowing studio, I will not be returning here. read more

What a workout! I've always been intimidated by cycling, as it looks intense, so I waited to be a little more fit and then went. My suspicions were accurate, it is a great workout. You do at your own pace, but the instructor does tell you which levels to go up and down and how fast to peddle. The competitive spirit in me does not want to be the last in class :) It's a full body workout, not just cardio, as at the end of the class you use hand weights. I had no idea how to set anything up before class, so a staff member was a very good helper and got me all ready and educated. The instructor was high energy, positive, clear, and very fit. The facilities are clean, have lockers that have programmable locks, and there is a coffee shop in the lobby. I shall return. instagram: @chefnatasha read more

I was uncertain about whether to give a three star or a four star review. Tie breaker was the fact that a three star sounds more appropriate for an establishment called "Studio Three." Seriously, this review is written from the perspective of a 48 year old woman with two young kids, and when I am at Studio Three I feel about 65. The millennial vibe is just that thick. What keeps me coming back is that they simply have the best bikes I have ever been on. And the studio is spacious and features cool mood lighting. The bikes are peloton and they feel like you are riding on velvet. The workout can be non-competitive or you can register with Peloton, free of charge, and see where you stand in the class. It does give a middle aged woman a certain amount of pride to surpass the performance of individuals born in the 90s. Studio Three also has yoga, which I don't do. And interval classes, which feature the same completely non-friendly vibe, but that I enjoyed because they include rowing and not just treadmills. Also, classes are slightly cheaper than Flywheel or Soul Cycle, but they seem to have a shorter time limit in which you have to use the credits. read more

Went to a spin class here using my class pass. Pros: instructor was energetic and a great motivator, music was good (pop remixes), place was clean, and provided towels and shoes for free. Staff was very nice. If not using classpass, I believe it is slightly cheaper than FlyWheel. Cons (depending on your style): your stats (RPM, Torque, calories burned) are viewable to the people around you and behind you. I don't really want others to know I'm slacking!! Also, my locker didn't work...I know I put in the right code but it wouldn't open. Thankfully, staff opened it for me and I showed them my ID. Overall, I prefer flywheel because your stats are hidden to others and the facility seemed a bit nicer. I had a good experience here though and definitely wouldn't pass it up on my classpass! read more

I signed up for a Cycle 45 class through Class Pass with Sho. I consider myself as fairly fit but this class DESTROYED me! It was so intense! There a dozens of bikes in the room set up like in a movie theater style, with the instructor cycling at the front. There are cool club-like lights with energy-pumping music. The studio is SUPER clean. The bikes themselves are pretty awesome! There are little screens at the front of each bike, showing you your RPM, resistance, output, calories burned and most importantly... time remaining!! I don't know if the calories burned are that accurate, but I burned 400+ calories in 45 minutes. CRAZY! I struggled SO SO much with putting on the special cycling shoes and strapping it to the bike, but there's an assistant at the back of the class at all times who was super willing to help. He even brought me a towel! So considerate! I felt so great after this class-- I'll definitely be coming back for more classes! read more

I've been a member since July of 2022 and Studio Three is the best class based gym that I have ever been to. For one membership fee, you're joining a yoga studio, a cycling studio, and an interval and circuit training gym. My issue with class based gyms in the past is that there wasn't enough variety. At Studio Three you have such a large and diverse selection of classes that you will never plateau. I've been a member for over a year and go almost daily and still haven't tried all of the classes yet. The instructors are absolutely fantastic and really help you not only to push yourself and motivate you, but they help correct your form so that you won't hurt yourself and can get the most out of your workout. And if that wasn't enough, the gals at the front desk are the sweetest people you'll ever meet and are beyond helpful and kind. You truly cannot walk into S3 and leave in a bad mood. Every interaction and every class will have you feeling amazing. read more

On my quest to check out as many cycling studios as I could on my last trip to Chicago, i came to find that studio 3 was my favorite. They met the trifecta of what I look for: an instructor who rides while playing awesome music, great equipment, and a friendly staff. Oh, and the location is great too. I went to Liz C's class and she was challenging without being over the top or obnoxious. I enjoyed her music (a little bit of everything) and respected her for riding the entire time (and perfectly, might I add). On the equipment front, they use pelotons and it became clear very early into the ride that this high-tech bike and it's electronics served mostly to remind me of how much better other people were doing but it didn't bother me. This might be a turn off to some, but it's meant to motivate and i could see how that would happen if you visit frequently. The staff were nice and there's a juice bar up in front, which i can't comment on. I am really interested in the other class options they have here and plan to check them out upon my next visit to Chicago! read more

Studio Three - Ground floor locker area (free lockers!) - Yoga Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have been to this gym 5 times in 5 days. I cannot stress this enough - it's phenomenal! I have taken four spin classes and one HIIT class. Peloton is unlike any other class that I have tried (FlyWheel, Soul Cycle, etc). Erin and Antonia had so much energy and the classes were so well coordinated! Before you know it, you'll be out of there in 45 minutes and drenched in sweat. As some of the reviewers mentioned, the room is huge so you are not on top of the person next to you. They had a soft opening and every day that I attended, I was greeted with smiles and help at the front desk. Jason, the manager, was all over the gym giving tours and answering questions from everyone. The entire staff was asking for feedback and ways to improve. They listened to suggestions from every single person there. The facility is gorgeous and I will certainly be back once they open on Wednesday. Give it a shot - the first class is cheaper than most of the gyms in River North and you have nothing to lose! Just be warned...you'll be hooked! read more

I tried Studio Three through ClassPass. It was AMAZING! I have only done Torch and Amped (HIIT classes) so far and I love them. Lucy and Dani are great. I took one with Josh, and it was just ok. If you like good music to work out to, definitely go with Lucy or Dani. The reason I can't give Studio Three 5 stars is because it's so expensive! You can only go 3 times per month with ClassPass, and if I wanted to go more, it is $200-300 per month. Even if I just did HIIT classes for a month, it's $200. I would love to join, but it's too much for a gym. read more

I went to a Sunday morning spin class via ClassPass with Audrina (?) and it was awesome. Everyone was really friendly, great facilities and the class started/ended on time. Definitely recommend! P.S. Don't bother bringing your own cycle shoes because they have special Peloton shoes for you to wear. read more

Love love love this studio! Why? Well... 1. The locker room. It's spacious (both small and tall lockers you don't need to bring your own lock for), has razors/shaving cream, and ~7 showers. Morning classes can be a bit crazy, but you`ll get a shower and out the door in time. Only downside is only 3 or 4 hair dryers. 2. As a frequent spinner (Soul, FlyWheel, Equinox) this definitely ranks up there with my favorites. It combines the competitive aspect of FlyWheel (Screens on your bike with a scoreboard which you can opt in or out of) with the motivation of Soul (but not the whole Namastay aspect). I also love that the bikes aren't on top of eachother, so you`re not dying of heat as I typically am in Soul studios. 3. It's on ClassPass. I don't personally have ClassPass, but I have FOMO daily about it and bring my friends who do have it with me to class. 4. They have HIIT classes without the treadmill. My alltime favorite workout is Orange Theory, and although I can't do it anymore due to the impact, their AMPED HIIT class doesn't use running on the treadmills. Torched does, so if that IS your thing, they have that too! (Just no heart rate monitors). Wes is awesome-- he does Thursday mornings 7am! 5. Staff is super friendly and there's a juice bar out front if you need something post workout. 6. They have Yoga too, so really- whatever type of workout you want, they have. (Haven't done the yoga but felt I should throw that out there as an FYI for all you Yogis) read more

I heard so much about Studio Three and decided to check it out last weekend. Since everyone was raving about the spin class, I signed up for Antonia's class on Sunday and it was mind-blowing. The staff at Studio Three ensured that prior to the spin class, you positioned comfortably in your seat and that you were having a good time. This was fabulous since I never took any spin class before. Antonia was super energetic and she owned the room. She had great music list and a cheerleader and actually cycled most of the time with you. The music was on point and everyone was having a good time. The shower room was equipped with good quality soap and shampoo that won't give you skin allergy. The fact that the Real Good Juice co was situated there was also superb to hydrate post work out. I enjoyed the class so much that I came back the next day for 6 am spin class with Antonia. FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE! Except the fact that I have to use a hefty portion of my paycheck for the unlimited monthly cycling membership.... Note: It's been 4 months since I joined Studio Three - loves most of the spin instructors: Erin, Andrea, Melissa, Liz and Jeanine! read more

This place pretty much has it all. Whether you're into yoga, internal, or spin, they cater to everyone. I can't vouch for any of their yoga classes since I've only taking Hi-Def upstairs (where the yoga studio is), but this heated class offered the same intentional breathing exercises as a normal yoga class would plus some strength and cardio. After 60 minutes, I was DRENCHED in sweat. I've taken countless spin classes at this point. Their bikes are top-notch and updated, the instructors have been awesome (my favorite is Erin), and the staff stands by during the whole class in case you need a hand with anything from water/towel/weights/etc. I've taken Amped in their HIIT studio once, and like so many others stated, this class kicked my butt. The only reason I haven't been downstairs as much is because I'm on ClassPass and have been using all my classes on spin. Everyone who works at Studio Three is very energetic and friendly, and the whole places is really clean and lively. My only complaint is that the locker situation can get very crowded and hectic at the start and end of classes, particularly on the main level with spin. Aside from that, an added bonus of Studio Three is that they host fun events and stay in tune with what's popular in pop culture. For example, they recently started hosting Monday night happy hour at the Kerryman across the street and had a Rihanna dance workshop. Follow them on social media or sign up for their emails--their branding is on point! read more

I use ClassPass, so I like to try new things, but Studio Three is consistently in my week to week rotation. Granted, I don't do spin or yoga here, but the HIIT classes are awesome. I love the 45 minute TORCH and AMPED classes - the perfect work out for the middle or end of my work day when I want to get in and out and still feel like I got my butt kicked. Take Liu's class if you can - he focuses on form and making sure that you get the most out of your 45 minutes, and I always learn something from him. The facilities are very nice, great for a quick post work out shower, and they have everything you need to get ready to go to (or head back to) work. Haven't tried the juice bar, but I've heard good things and it's a nice amenity to have. tl;dr - If you want a great, efficient workout with instructors who know what they're doing, AND you want the amenities of a high end studio, Studio Three is perfect for you. read more

So...I signed up through Class Pass and it was my first time taking a spin class. I freaking loved it. The setup is good from a check in process. The side area is a bit of a cluster (they could use more seating for getting your shoes on and off) but it clears up quickly. The studio isn't that big but it doesn't seem that crowded given how many people are in there. The workout was awesome. I was dripping sweat and it was like a club but you torch 500+ calories and it flies by. I'll be back!!!! read more

This is the first review I'm written but I want to make anyone that is wavering about going to their first class to feel at ease. I can't compare the spin class to others because it was my first one. I can say the employees from the coffee shop to the front desk to the bike attendant Juan (I hope I'm spelling that right) were so kind. I was extremely nervous being new to spinning and working out in general and they made me feel very comfortable. I was panicked for no reason. I recommend just getting out and trying it no matter how anxious you are. You will feel right at home and amazing after. Thanks again! Jessica read more

I'm going to go ahead and update this to five stars. I have been back to Studio Three many times since my first experience, and both the cycling classes and the staff are what have kept me returning. Raul, who helps people get set up on their bikes prior to class and is there for assistance during class, is absolutely wonderful. He takes the time to make sure that you are comfortable on your bike, and he will even go get you water during class if you run out! (I think he is also teaching some classes now). Other staff members have also been kind and more than accommodating--when I was running late to class recently, the girl at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name) offered to hold on to my coat and bag so that I could rush into class, which was extremely helpful. Some of my favorite cycling instructors are Antonia, Dani, and Sho, but I've had great experiences with all of the instructors I've had here. I look forward to returning often and may give yoga or interval training a shot too! read more

My favorite spin studio in Chicago. I was devoted to Flywheel before Studio Three, but the two don't even compare. The bikes are the nicest I've ever been on and the facilities are impeccable. My favorite teachers are Dani, Jeanine and Andrea. I appreciate that they actually have A/C in the spin room, unlike some other studios that I swear keep the A/C off to make you think you're working harder than you are... I took one star off because I attended a Torch class, and found it to be a watered-down version of Shred415. In addition, the room was so hot that I had to leave halfway through the class. I'll stick to spin here. read more

This place is truly amazing. I would ditch classpass and join monthly if I lived closer to it. Yoga studio is bright and clean and gorgeous. I've enjoyed my several classes there (hot but not too hot that you feel like passing out). HIIT Torch (run, row, weight stations) and Amped (row, arms, legs stations) were both extremely challenging but flew by. The instructor Josh for Torch was very keen on making sure everyone enjoyed the workout. I liked the enthusiasm. Can't wait to try the cycle / spin class. There are about 6 showers but the changing area is tiny for 3 studios in one, be forewarned if you're in a hurry and need to change before work. read more

I Love this place because it's clean and they have a good instructors. Sometimes they have a new spinning instructors and they also put too much of a rap music which is very dreadful. Love sayre and her music, Andria amazing music, Antonia the best,Abby and Jen, heather best torch class instructors. Bottom line is to see if it's for you they give free passes. read more

Came in to grab a smoothie. What place doesn't accept cash??????!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of world do we live in where a piece of plastic with virtual money takes over real cash?! This is ridiculous! My brain denies to understand it. read more

Finally tried the interval/HIIT class and it thoroughly kicked my ___. I did the arms and abs, it was mainly rowers and treadmill (but this varies by type of class and instructor). An extra star for being the most calories I've burned during a HIIT class. It was primarily cardio since the focus was on abs and arms but it's what I needed. I've gone to Barry's, Orange Theory and Crosstown Fitness, etc. Studio Three is truly a premium studio and you can tell where your money is going. read more
