I kicked off my Friday morning with a Hot Yoga Flow class led by Kelsey, and it was the perfect way to start the day! First, the studio itself--right from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff, which may seem like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. The studio offers a locker room, and if you forget your mat, you can rent one for $3 (so be sure to bring yours!). The class was fantastic. The floor is marked to help you position your mat correctly, and Kelsey took the time to demonstrate the flow we'd be working toward, which was such a helpful touch. The practice included some challenging moves, but there were always modifications available. The studio's bright, window-filled space and heated environment made for an energizing experience. I can't recommend this class and instructor enough--I'm already looking forward to my next session! read more

This is one of the few yoga studios that I come to love! Not only is the location accessible to public transportation, a beautiful clean space but the staff is super friendly as well as helpful. If you forget your mat, I think you can rent one but they have all the props, class variety, weights, etc. that you need. They do offer a lot of different yoga classes that are heated as well as strength classes! Check this place out asap. read more

I came here for a class during a bachelorette party and it was such a fun experience! The instructor was amazing--super accommodating and tailored the class to our group's preferences, which made it really enjoyable. The studio itself was very clean, well-organized, and the whole setup was efficient. It was such a unique and fun way to hang out with friends. Definitely recommend Yoga 2.0 if you're looking for a group activity or just a great yoga class in River North! read more

The studio is very nice and each class I've taken is unique! Can only say I've done the Pilates classes and I wish they were longer.. otherwise good experiences so far!! read more

This is such a great yoga studio. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I took Hannah's Flow class and it was amazing. It was like yoga used to be in Chicago pre-pandemic before "fitness yoga" took over. It felt so nice to take a class where I could actually be guided to meet myself where I am and honor my limits- not be told to "push, push harder go go go!". Hannah's instructions, alignment cues and demos were delivered perfectly and allowed me to relax into my practice but still brought me to my edge with challenging sequences. The students were also relaxed and easy-going. Beautiful wood floors, high ceilings and a spacious locker room with showers and extras. They provide everything. Def my favorite yoga studio in River North. read more

Attended the strength and flow class. I prefer to bring my own mat to yoga classes but it's also an option to rent a mat at this studio for $3. I'd recommend arriving a few minutes early to get settled in and stretch. Mats are assigned so if coming with a friend then I'd call to ensure you both have mats next to each other. There is plenty of street parking available near by. The studio was clean and very well maintained. This class pushed me and energized me, would definitely recommend! read more

Ive been going to Yoga 2.0 for over a year and no doubt, their instructors and classes are amazing. However, I've had a couple of occasions where Ive noticed the uncleanliness of the studio. It seems like the floors are never clean (hair balls, sticky, tons of dust) and Im honestly not even sure if they clean their towels. Normally I wouldn't report this, but this is now the 2nd time I've gone to the studio (feeling perfectly healthy), and woken up very sick just 12 hours later. I went last night (after working from home all day) and woke up this morning feeling nauseous and incredibly congested. Highly recommend they improve their cleaning services. read more

Really enjoy this studio! I joined last month and plan to stick with it! Great instructors and a good variety of class difficulty levels. They provide towels and you can rent mats if needed. I usually go to their strength classes +strength & flow. I like the setup of the workouts where generally you are doing strength exercises or yoga and not having to hold weights while doing yoga poses. Almost all classes are heated in a sauna type yoga room. The staff is really friendly and the instructors are welcoming- a lot of members seem like they have gone to the studio for years and it's very social. It really does feel like a small business feel vs franchise yoga place. The 7am classes are great because you don't have to pay for parking until 8am, would be great to see even more morning classes scheduled! read more

I was a beginner in Yoga but Jessi specifically made me feel at home and helped me develop and accomplish my goals. My whole physique has changed and her classes are so much fun. Her class is a must take! I can't imagine my workout routine without her. read more

Yoga 2.0 is a chic yoga studio located in the heart of River North. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Chicago or Grand lines, but otherwise I'm always able to find metered street parking (about $5 for an hour) on Ontario or Franklin. The instructors are energetic, and my favorite classes have been with Robyn (strength + flow) and Hannah (flow). Expect to sweat a ton in the heated studio and bring a mat, as they charge $3 for a mat rental. One downside in my opinion is how full some of the classes can get. I went to a Saturday morning strength + flow last weekend where there were 30 + people in the studio, and the distance between me and my neighbor's mat was the length of my iPhone. I was also unfortunate to have been next to a person who had no spacial awareness, so I had to make sure she wasn't going to accidentally smack me every time we had to stretch out our arms or legs. The mask rule is also only enforced when we are walking outside the main studio. It is very difficult to wear a mask when you are sweating profusely, but that's something that the studio should take into consideration when allowing this many of reservations per class. Overall, this is a great studio to check out if you live in River North and you want to burn some serious calories each class. To be honest none of the flow classes are super beginner friendly, so maybe let the teacher know ahead of time that you're a beginner, so that they can hopefully accommodate you throughout the class. read more

Great yoga studio in River North. Parking is tough but the studio is a little haven in the busy neighborhood. The studio is on the second floor, large hang out area with nice large locker rooms. The studio has spots marked off for each mat which helps keeps everyone evenly spaced throughout. Great atmosphere and great instructors. Will definitely be back! read more

OMG! This place is incredible! I booked a class here through ClassPass and I'm so glad I did. This is probably my new favorite hot yoga studio. The facility is beautiful. The floor is marked so it's clear where you should put your mat. Mike led the flow class and he was awesome! His cues were clear and the flow was smooth. I'm definitely taking more classes here. read more

My first time at Yoga2.0! ‍ It was recommended to me so I had somewhat of an idea what to expect but wow did it push me harder than I anticipated!! I took their 6am "strength" class, which takes place in the (very warmly) heated studio and incorporates yoga, HIIT cardio, and weights. The workout was definitely great for total body! I'm not used to doing workouts at that level in a heated space so it was certainly a *sweaty* adjustment. The instructor made it really easy to follow along which is always appreciated on my end. The studio overall is really nice and well-kept. Great large locker rooms that include showers, which is always a great perk if you're getting a workout in before work. The only tiny downfall that came to mind is that they charged me for a mat rental, which is totallyyy understandable that there is a charge, but just considering the fact it was my first time there and didn't know; it would be great for them to offer your "first mat free" or something along those lines. There was also a lack of any 'welcome/touch base on my fitness level' conversation. So just a note to employees to maybe chat with newbies and explain to them a bit of what Yoga2.0 is all about & what classes entail! Overall I'd definitely come back here for another killer workout next time I'm in town read more

Nice clean modern studio with good amount of heat in their room. They do have a separate system to add extra humidity. You will have a juicy class. Strong fast beat music to motivate you in the core class. Kate did a good job to keep the pace steady and strong. read more

I took their Strength and flow class and loved it! The perfect mix of strength training and flow in a moderately heated room. The instructor was friendly and welcoming. Make sure to bring your own mat because there is a $3 rental fee. I will definitely be back for another class! read more

I have only been to Yoga2.0 once in-person as I now live in Oregon, but damn do I love this place. Awesome studio- super clean, organized, updates and nice amenities, High energy coaches with great playlists, And killer workouts. I've done a few virtual workouts in addition to my one in-person and I couldn't recommend them enough. If you're looking for a challenging workout, don't sleep on Yoga2.0 !!! read more

This is the greatest studio in the city. Instructors are next level, and studio is beautiful and clean. Classes are super challenging and fun. More than anything, it's the community. I've been working out for decades and have never experienced anything close to this. People truly care about each other. It's great to see all of the relationships that have started, the weddings and now the babies. Classes are for everyone, not just yogi's :). Give it a try . I guarantee you will feel welcome, get a great sweat and want to back! GG read more

I can't rave about this studio enough. A friend introduced me to this place almost a year ago because your first class is free with promo code FIRSTSWEAT. I've been hooked ever since. Seriously, I bring all my girlfriends here since they make it so easy for first timers to try. I've been doing yoga almost a decade and this is by far my favorite studio. The energy is electric and infectious during class! You feel confident and challenged that I've never left not drenched in sweat. They have a variety of classes for whatever you need that day. If you're new to yoga I recommend flow but their strength classes incorporate HIIT so are easier to follow for new yogis. I don't recommend the HIIT or strength 2.0 classes until you've taken the regular strength because while amazingly grueling, it may scare you off. My favorite instructor is Mike. He brings his dog from time to time too parking can be a little tricky if it's off hours for the meters but usually i have no problem. read more

I tried out Yoga 2.0 through there one week new student special, I hadn't practiced in over a year and my body was pretty tight a unhealthy. I started out with Manny's Sunday evening Restorative class and it was EXACTLY what I needed and where I needed to be. In the end I did every type of class and none disappointed. I love how each teacher has a passion for health, yoga and theology behind what they are doing. They take the time to talk to you and get to know you. The women's locker room/bathrooms can get crowded before and after a class, but nothing to worry about. I'm definitely considering making this my go to studio!! I highly recommend this place! read more

I love the facilities and culture of Y2.0! The management/instructor tandem do an excellent job of creating a connected community, and provide a beautiful space to practice challenging and creative yoga. The audio, heat, and floors are next level. And the instructors are professional level. I recommend you check it out if you're in Chicago, if you haven't already! Bradford read more

I don't like working out... I get that some people do, but I've never been one to enjoy it. Here? The story is the same. I still don't like working out... But I go. I go because the instructors are motivating, and even though I'm out of shape, I don't feel like I don't belong. I go because the space is beautiful and once I walk through that door, I know I'll leave the studio feeling better than I did before. I go for the difference it has made on my body and the friends I've picked up along the way. So if you don't like working out, give it a chance. And if you do like working out? They have workouts there. You'll love it. read more

I took a strength class from Robin and she kicked my butt! It was very challenging which is what I strive for and she delivered. The studio is amazing! I love the black, gold, and white decor as the design is very Art Deco and the entire studio is very clean. Another plus is that they have marked, outlined spots for yoga mats to alleviate mats being placed all over the studio and it also allows for classes to not get overbooked as they know exactly how many spots are available. read more

Hells ya! So, I am obsessed with infrared saunas - expensive as hell, but they heat you from the inside out, burn a ton of calories (up to 1,200 an hour!), and make my busted back feel oh so good. And...Yoga2.0 uses infrared heat to heat up their hot classes! No more being bored out of my mind sitting in a heat box for half an hour - I can now satisfy my infrared craving with a side of yoga! The best is the studio is heated with panels, so there's no need to scope out the studio space ahead of time to avoid the dreaded heating vent, and there's uniform heat throughout the room. Anyways, I rocked the noon class, which hits the 45 min lunch sweet spot, and was able to reserve the mat spot I wanted in class ahead of time (and I could see where everyone else was, too, and chose accordingly). The studio is open and spacious, with tons of lounging space to get your zen prep on, or to catch up with your fellow yogis before sweating it out. The locker room is just as nice - lockers with locks (yay!), showers, and a ton of space. Class was even better! The heat gave me exactly what I needed, and the flow of class was great. Sydney took us through an awesome class, with an easy to follow, challenging flow that threw in some things I've never seen before, which is always the sign of a good class (srsly, I've been to over 500 classes on ClassPass). Anyways, go now! Hell, it's prob the only way you're gonna get any damn heat this summer ;) read more

Yoga 2.0 is calm, serenity in an unusual corner of the hustle and bustle. Stepping outside of the usual yoga studio cliche, the space has an earthy feel in all the details. Clean, organized, intimate studio setting. While it is true that the practice of yoga can do good for one'self, this is something I do for myself, peace, strength, and for healthiness.   Should you have the opportunity to take Ms. Robyn's class be prepare to self-train, discipline and challenge yourself. I've been in practice for over a decade and I am happy to find a place to practice and go beyond the simplicity of the techniques. To sooth the newbies be sure to communicate it before class. read more

I went to Yoga 2.0 for the first time and did the Strength 2.0 class with Antonio. This was incredibly disappointing and I would not recommend. The instructor was abrasive, rude, and condescending. I completely understand when instructors provide feedback, especially for safety, but he loudly criticized people in a condescending and intimidating manner. For example, "I've said it 25 times", "Do you know where your knee is?!" Etc. He also gave modifications by physically touching participants which I haven't seen done without permission in any other class. The class itself was challenging, but not overly difficult. If you're looking for a strength/boot camp style class, I would highly recommend MagMile CrossFit, Studio 3, F45 or anything else. Studio was beautiful and I liked the style of the class but I will not return due to the instructor's style. I attended through ClassPass and saw many reviews for the same instructor who had a similar experience. read more

Addicted! From the moment you open the door, you feel welcome and a happy vibe. I was not a morning person, let alone a morning workout person until Yoga2.0. Their crew is amazing and inspiring! I feel great when I start my day there. They have a great blend of zen with a kickass workout! Let me start by saying I'm not a yoga junky, however I am quickly becoming one. Yoga 2.0 has an amazing space with a huge chill/lobby area, top notch locker rooms/showers, and two yoga studios. This allows for you to sweat out your toxins and not become overly sore. I'll be back a couple times a week to try other classes and instructors! Bravo read more

What an amazing concept! The heating concept is beyond anything you've ever experienced as it's radiant heat and aids in reducing inflammation while providing a speedier recovery from sore muscles from an effective workout. Ok, I like to save a buck and don't get myself wrapped up in long term commitments, but I have the unlimited membership because it really is worth it to me. I take full advantage of this studio having many classes before/during/after work because it's near my office. It's a small trek on weekends but I double up on the classes to make it *more* worth it. The studio is beau-ti-ful. The business is very responsive to needs/questions (I am always messaging on IG). I love that they are trying to create a community at the studio (they have social events after some classes, non-intimidating instructors). If you're starting out, get the unlimited week and try out as many of the classes/instructors as you can (TIP: if you sign up on their website, there mayy be a 'free unlimited week' for newbies somewhere). BE WARNED: you may fall in love with the place and want to purchase the unlimited monthly membership. Classes don't get super full because they're still new so take advantage of the space and move around from your assigned spot when class begins. If you're taking a strength class, ask what weights you'll need (light, medium, heavy). Make sure to bring water/refillable container (they have a water refill station in the main room), a mat (they charge for rentals), a mat towel if you're sweaty person like me, and a bath towel if you plan on taking a shower afterwards (they charge for those too). FYI - there aren't too many meditative/calming classes as I would like since most of their classes have a more fitness focus. I believe they have a monthly meditation class. Revive is more like a body reset than a mind reset (still great though!). I'd recommend Ashley C's yoga classes if you need 'clarity'. Great energy/vibes in her classes! Side note: if you end up getting the unlimited monthly 'warrior' membership and have commitment issues, ask if there is a minimum period. My account says "Payment x of 6" so I'm thinking it's a minimum of 6 months but I never asked because I have no intention of doing less than that. read more

If I could give this studio more than 5 stars I would! I've been to my fair share of studios over the years and this place is the REAL DEAL! They truly have it all- top notch instructors, variety of classes, gorgeous aesthetics all around, customer service, and just genuine care. I am a hot yoga addict and this is the only studio in Chicago that matches, if not exceeds, the hot yoga I've experienced on the west coast. Not to mention the prices here are extremely reasonable! I've been to nearly 20 classes since they opened and every single one has been incredible- flow, strength, revive, strength + flow, and flow express. I could go on and on....do yourself a favor and check them out!! read more

This place is amazing. The instructors are what make a class and these instructors are really great - I've been to two classes so far (instructors were Ashley and Manny). Instructors are fully engaged in what they're doing - it is different here. Both classes were excellent. They were challenging, never boring, and the heat level is perfect (at rest, not sweating but enough heat to get loose as the class progresses - a difficult balance to strike). Little things about this place that set it apart: big locker rooms, great showers, high ceilings (vaulted exposed brick), high-end heavy yoga mats available to rent that actually stay in place, kombucha on tap, friendly staff, everything is clean and seems to be cleaned multiple times throughout the day. There are many yoga studios - this is the best one I've seen in or out of Chicago. It's excellent. Max Goodman - read more

Love the studio - so clean and spacious and everyone is so amazing as soon as you walk in the door. I took my first ever hot yoga class here and yes, felt like I was gonna die halfway through - probably didn't hydrate enough, but powered through and the instructor was amazed it was my first one. I was traveling to Chicago this week for business, staying at a nearby hotel. I found this studio, recently opened in 2019. It's amazing! Infrared heated classes, big windows and mirrors, great locker room, lockers. I took two different classes, both were awesome. Zacharias and Manny led the classes I went to. Amazing!!! I absolutely love this studio! The staff is so friendly and the instructors are amazing! The variety and diversity of classes offered are so different than other yoga studios in the area. They offer traditional vinyasa type flow classes, strength based classes with weights/cardio, restorative yoga classes, and they even offer a Steel Mace Strength class which is incredible. I haven't seen any other fitness studio offer this type of group training in the area. All of the classes are heated with Infrared which I love -- so many health benefits (google it ;) ). The studio is also very clean and welcoming with an area to lounge/work if needed, coffee/snacks from Ingrained available, and free wifi. The mats you can rent or buy are also the absolute best for hot yoga -- no slipping or towels to worry about. I can't recommend this studio enough :) read more

Wow! I've never felt more at home in a yoga studios / class than at Yoga 2.0. I've been searching for this experience for awhile. I'm not someone who can practice every day, but when i do i love to make the most of it - and I love that the instructors ask what more I'd like out of class next time and then carve out a small moment to fulfill that need. It feels very personalized in a group setting. And then the space, bathrooms, showers... it's all just really cool and beautiful. read more
