First tried vibez during an event, it was definitely tricky at first getting used to the plates, but after a while you don't even notice it because the workout feels so good! I won a raffle for a free month and continued coming when I can! Studio is super clean and classes are challenging yet easy to follow. The staff is super friendly. I wish I could come more often! read more

My first time here, and it was amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with such great energy. I recommend arriving early if it's your first time so they can walk you through everything. The person doing check-in had me sign a waiver and then led me to my station. I had my own little section with a machine, a cubby, a towel for sweating, weights, and a mirror to watch my workout. There was also a huge screen where we could see the instructor, even though she was nearby demonstrating the workout. The class was a strength class, with a mix of Tabata and AMRAP, so there was constant movement with a few breaks. I loved how it challenged me with a mix of rounds to get through. I'm all about fitness this fall, so join me on my fitness journey as I explore different gyms! I did the 7:15 AM class, and parking was easy--no need to worry about paying until 8 or 9 AM, so that was a bonus. The machine vibrates while you stand on it and do exercises, so I'm glad I got there early to adjust my body to it. It really helped with my stability, balance, and trusting my body. To top it off, after the workout, they came around with cool towels infused with essential oils to help us cool down during the stretch--such an amazing touch. This is definitely my new Friday workout spot! read more

Vibez Fit - Cardio Classes Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Like the name suggests, expect good vibes and a lot of vibrations in this class! I love trying new workout classes on ClassPass and stumbled upon this studio recently. I've tried Booty Vibez and Flow, Fly and Recover Hybrid classes and have loved both of them! The concept is that most of your workouts would be performed on a vibrating power plate. Even simple workout exercises like lunges, squats, planks helps you burn 5x more as you are trying to balance yourself on a vibrating plate. It's like getting a workout plus massaging benefits during the same session! ;) The staff is extremely friendly and will guide you well and answer all your questions. It may be a bit uncomfortable when you're trying it for the first time, however, your body gets used to it in no time. I'm definitely going to try more workouts with this studio! read more

Oddly enough, I've been here a few times throughout the years (starting towards the end of the pandemic), but I know I have to share this studio. I am the type of person who likes to try various types of workout, studios, classes, etc. And when I found this place I was amazed. Not only does the Studio have everything you need for every class, the type of workout is highly effective, efficient and target gets the whole body. On top of the great workout, the staff is truly kind. Try a class and if you have any questions, they will promptly help you. This is definitely a unique but effective workout. read more

I love Vibez as a wonderful, welcoming studio for me to get a different and fun work out. The ambience of the space is calming, with nicely set up stations so you feel like you have everything you need in your spot. The instructors keep the workout interesting, and the plates themselves have so many medical benefits! I'd love to keep coming back more often and see more people come to this studio too! read more

Really cool place! It is quite the innovative workout experience. Right in the heart of river north and across the street from Edie's Cafe bar. It puts Pilates to shame I thought it was intense and I attended an intro class. There are different levels, if you cannot handle vibration this is probably not for you. It is literally a workout on vibrating power plate machines. Come hydrated and bring plenty of water. Chloe S. is great! The other head instructor who I cannot recall her name is wonderful too! Wear socks, no shoes allowed on machines! read more

Robs boxing class is the perfect balance of challenge and FUN!! He is an absolute legend. HIGHLY recommend!

At certain times, my workout routine can feel like a workout rut. It can seem like I have my rotation of classes that I go to at the gym on autopilot. This can be a good thing...until it's not. When the fitness fatigue creeps in, trying out a new class or workout experience can be just what the doctor ordered. As luck would have it, a friend gave me a free trial to Vibez Fitness. Having not experienced the benefits of a PowerPlate workout, I was eager to try this studio. The location is convenient, in River North. The fact that the workouts could be accomplished in 30 minutes is a strong selling point - no slogging it out on a treadmill or struggling through an extended HIIT class. I ended up sampling a couple of classes - an RX class, which was geared to recovery and foam rolling, done on the PowerPlate. I definitely found the class itself worthwhile and it was a great introduction to the equipment and setup. The next class I took was a Booty Vibez - think: different activities like squats, lunges, and plank variations. In addition to the PowerPlate, resistance bands were used as props. While the moves themselves were pretty standard, the unstable, vibrating surface of the plate upped the level of intensity, which I appreciated. Going into the class, I was glad I had the foundation of the RX class, so that I had some idea of what to expect. Overall, this was quite the inventive workout experience. It was nicely challenging, and I could see it being suitable for a variety of fitness levels - it really depends on what a person is looking for and the class selection. Definitely bring water. There is not a chance to drink it during the workout but afterwards the body needs to repair and flush out toxins. Shoes are not allowed on the machines. I opted to wear grippy socks but I noted some others with bare feet. Definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a new challenge in your workout routine! read more

I really enjoyed my power class today! The instructor and owner Kelly were both super nice. The workout was actually incredibly intense and the power plate definitely takes some getting used to. The place is really nice and clean. Would recommend for anyone looking for interval workout and weight loss! read more

Tried this gym out and WOW what a cool experience. I know power plates are used in physical therapy and have heard great things - but had no idea there were so many great things you can do from a cardio/strength standpoint. I tried the Cardio class - Body Vibez - I was initially skeptical at the 30 minute class time - but 10 minutes in I was DYING (in a good way!). I couldn't believe what a great workout it was in such a short period of time. Additionally - I walked in with lower back pain, and after the class my back pain was gone (which the owner told me would probably happen!) I'll definitely be back and plan to purchase a class package :) highly recommend! read more

I never enjoyed working out.. EVER... until my girlfriend introduced me to Vibez. Definitely, like no other workout I have ever done in my life. For the first time I'm not dreading waking up in the morning to go to a gym or looking at the clock wishing it would end. I sometimes stay for 2 classes back to back. The power plate is new to me and I am in love!! The best part is it is a 30 min workout, but not easy at all. The RX is one of my favorites, it relaxes my body and mind so much. My body is more flexible, my knee isn't cracking like before and I'm so energetic. Everyone is super sweet, welcoming and happy to help someone new to the game. Check it out!! read more

Such a fun place to be! I had a blast in the boxing class with Rob. The staff made me feel very comfortable my first class. They walk you through how to use the machine and all of the benefits of using it. First time in a new gym with new devices can be intimidating, but this was simple and I've already been back for more workouts. Chicago, IL read more

I am in LOVE with everything about this place. I have multiple injuries, so I was looking for a place to supplement my reformer pilates workouts, to get some variety and cardio. When I called to inquire, the owner was very helpful in giving me information about the PowerPlate and the studio as a whole. When I arrived for my first class, she was very informative and helpful and informed the instructor of my injuries. Throughout the class and ever since, each front desk person, instructor and even fellow classmates have been so kind, accommodating and most importantly, check in with me frequently to ensure I am able to have modifications and am staying safe. I have never felt so quickly welcomed and part of a community as I do here. In regards to the classes themselves, I appreciate several aspects: 1. Variety - between different styles, such as boxing and "fly," to different target groups, such as booty, as well as a class dedicated to stretching, I never get bored and am able to work out all parts of my body 2. The classes are 30 minutes long, which allows me to get a quick workout in (still with the benefits of a longer workout due to the powerplate) or I can double up to get multiple workouts in a row 3. Every class starts with a warm-up and ends with a cool down/stretching and a final unofficial savasana with a cool lavender-scented towel on your forehead. Not only does the warm-up help prevent injury, the final relaxation is the perfect conclusion and something I look forward to every class. 4. You are able to do the classes at your own pace and the instructors provide modifications where needed 5. All of the instructors I have taken classes with are knowledgeable & encouraging 6. Because the powerplate is also a medical device, it has helped strengthen the tiny muscles that protect my joints, so it is low-impact and helping me recover from my injuries. Additionally, I appreciate that they have special workshops (like meditation) and coordinate with local vendors to offer occasional snacks or healthy drinks and find ways to make you feel appreciated, such as a rose and chocolate on Valentine's day. This place is truly a place where I look forward to going each time I have the opportunity. It serves as a place for self-case and community...and in the process I have been able to diversify my workout routine, leading to being stronger and more confident. I would highly recommend! read more

Love, Love, Love everything about Vibez Fit! Kelly has built an incredible community and has such a genuine passion for her studio and members and the instructors are second to none! Saskia, Rob, Loren, Asia, Andrea and Silvie are awesome and each bring their own flair to their classes. Erin, Gloria, Steph who manage the front desk are so welcoming and friendly. Thank you for creating such a great place for members to work out and the awesome community you have built not only with members but nearby businesses, minority owned businesses and women in business. Ugh i had the worse experience. If you are someone of color be warned. I went there with two other orange theory workout buddies. As the only person of color I felt I was being ignored in comparison to my other friends who also came to the session for free. I can tell you I've never experienced that at Club Pilates, Orange theory or any other gyms in the River north area. I wouldn't recommend to anyone else. read more

Thankful I met Kelly and Chloe on the sidewalk, as I was walking my dog, because my workout world changed like I couldn't imagine! I'm a huge fan and highly recommend! This gym is fab! Nothing like a great and effective work-out in 30min. I love the variety of classes and times, along with the kind and engaging team! As someone who is usually into HIIT workouts, Vibez gives me that option, but also offers a great muscle recovery alternative, which I DESPERATELY need. Highly recommend this local business and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with them. read more
