The girl who did my nails was so unprofessional. I was extremely unhappy with the outcome but I didn't actually complain. She could tell from my expression that I was unhappy and instead of apologizing she started berating me for looking unhappy and that it was my own fault for picking the color. "Why you look like that! You act like I didn't do good job!" Well because you fucking didn't! She didnt do the design I asked for because she had painted too many layers. She turned to her coworker for backup that she had done a good job and was just dismissive towards me even as she asked if I was going to tip in cash. this place sucks BIG TIME. literally spent 60$ on a hack job. they broke two of my nails used acrylic when I specifically asked for gel. the paint job is messy and they didn't even clean it up after I asked. The gel is uneven and she put no effort in trying to fix them after I said something. The shape of my nails are all over the place, what a shitty establishment. I don't complain much with beauty services but I was really disappointed after I asked the woman to thread my eyebrows and she butchered one and cut me on both. I've been going here loyally for a year now and been pretty happy but recently I feel this place is going downhill. It seems every time I go in there is different women and the quality consistency is really poor. This last visit though was the final straw. I showed up with my fiancé and he asked for a pedicure buff and I asked for my gel to be removed and just regular polish. My fiancé finished before the women even got my gel off. She continued to go and help other people including doing a woman's eyebrows half way through removing my gel. She was also really rough and multiple times scraped my skin off while removing the gel- which I've never had happen before and just was really aggressive in holding my hands etc. I asked her to keep the length and not cut a lot- showing her with my pinky the length I wanted. She then goes on to slowly cut the rest of them shorter and shorter. Then I tell her they are shorter than I wanted she told me my nails were too weak to be that long- but my pinky is long and the rest are 75% shorter now.( also funny because I had multiple nails with no gel that did just fine for a week.) Then I realize after she begins panting she missed removing gel for almost an entire hand and let her know. She goes back and corrects but then again after I look there was still gel on my hand. Finally I gave up because my fiancé had to wait over and hour just for my manicure before it was even ready to be dried and I didn't want to redo anymore. I'm done, unfortunately Ive sent many friends here over the year but won't anymore. This experience was just too much of a disappointment all around. read more

Been doing my nails there for some time.Two younger technicians are skilled and really enjoyed going there... Went once and got an older (than the two younger) technician but not the manager. She was very slow and caused my foot to bleed while she buffed and buffed despite me explaining against my that it wasn't a callus but just my foot shape. Horrible experience. Hit or miss I guess. RACIST ESTABLISHMENT My friend (Dominican) and I (Black) were referred to this location by the diva spa down the street and we walk in and ask for mani pedi deal and pick our nail colors. A white woman comes in after us and asks if there is a wait and the worker tells her no. My friend and I were told to sit and the white woman sat down right after us. My friend starts her pedi and I'm sitting while the only other available worker starts the white womans pedi. I sit and look for a moment like why would they service her first. My friend then asks why isn't she being served and the worker woman says someone is "on their way" for me. I sit for almost two mins before I must get up and cry my tears outside at the thought of this place blatantly serving the white woman first. I leave and my friend asks why the white woman was taken before me and they lie and tell her she had an appt. she DID NOT have an appt and didn't have anything to say. Just sat there and allowed them to service her before me. My friend stopped her pedi and followed me a few mins later. We went back to the diva spa to inform the owner and he offered no apology. Overall experience was not that great. I was able to walk-in at 3pm and get the next available appointment at 3:45pm. So getting an appointment was easy. However, there is really nothing else I can say positive about this establishment . I received a gel pedicure. The lady who worked with me left scratches all on my toes while trying to remove my gel nail polish. So obviously my feet were "burning" when she kept placing alcohol-based products on me during the rest of the pedicure. Fast forward to the nail polish. She did not complete many coats at all, she did not coat any of the nails evenly, nor did she coat all the way to the edge of each nail. I am a student and asked if there was a discount and the total still came to $48. Definately not worth even $10. My girlfriend went to Studio Diva to get her her nails done and wound up getting her eyebrows threaded as well. Her nails turned out fine but they butchered her eyebrows. She came out with cuts all over her eyebrows, two days later and she still has some cuts that bleed. The lady did not even apologize for the bad job she did. The Studio Diva hair salon down the street gives cards for a mani/pedi for $30. I stopped in and was greeted warmly. They did a fantastic THOROUGH job. You can find cheaper places but i'm willing to pay more for a good mani/pedi. They have student discounts and offer punch cards for 1 free Mani after 10 visits. I thought it was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. If you prefer that neighborhood-y feel definitely go here. Very warm and enjoyable experience!
