Chicken strips & a bar, yes! Strips ranks to be my top strip establishment so when you add cocktails than it's a win -win. I had the 3 pice dinner, which has dark meat (my fav). The food took some time which I expect so my chicken was very hot. The crust was crispy but needed more flavor. They do have a decent selection of cocktails.

What a cute little spot to stop in! The chicken tenders were super yummy and loved the dipping sauces ! I didn't get the "pretzel" breading vibe but they were good !! The mashed potatoes were delicioussss. The beer selection was roettt good and service was fantastic. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Very casual (like plastic plate appetizer casual) but great food and a nice variety of craft brews. When you go to a place called "Strip's" for the first time, it makes sense to start with strips. I'll definitely order that next time I come. The pretzel breading on the chicken is just perfect. The sauces were awesome, and the fries were not soggy. We added an order of chips and queso which arrived warm. Hot chicken and cold beer is the perfect combination. We will be back!

I enjoyed the tasty food, healthy menu options, reasonable prices and fast service during my opening day dine-in lunch visit. My grilled chicken sandwich with choice of side ($10.99) was served just six minutes after I ordered at the bar. The sandwich was nicely sized at 3" high and 5" wide with delicious grilled chicken. I loved the variety of side options on the menu. The superfood slaw I selected tasted great. The service was merely accommodating, except for the presence of the helpful, inspiring, entrepreneurial owner. The dining area was clean and freshly remodeled with background music and a mix of booths and tables. I also noticed a covered patio with heaters, a full bar with 13 beer taps and unique craft beer options. Overall, very nice.

My husband and I came here because we heard they have great Mac and cheese and chicken strips. I am not a fan of Mac and cheese at all. However, we both tried a Mac and cheese bowl with strips and chicken nuggets. It was so delicious and comforting. Definitely a comfort food and well worth the $11.99 . I had their tasty barbecue sauce with it. I love that they serve the bowls in these containers that you can easily take home by placing a lid. There was plenty left over to enjoy again later. The environment was super nice and clean. The booth we sat at had a nice tv with the Nintendo game system. Super cute and we had great service. Lauren was super accommodating and great service over all. We look forward to coming back and trying their pork tenderloin sandwich. We really enjoyed our meal. We came on a Saturday for lunch. Met the owner and everyone was great. Much continued success.

My extended family and I (7 of us) all had lunch yesterday at Strips in Lenexa. As far as I'm concerned, this gets . The owner (Todd) came out and talked to our table for quite a while, so I got to ask all the questions about separate fryer, dedicated workspace, etc. I have complete confidence eating here. Also, all my "gluten goblins" thought the GF food was good too. In fact, they all said the GF onion strings were the best they've had anywhere!!! I did not have a reaction, so I'm spreading the good news! GF food can be really good...and it is here!!! I ordered the smoked pulled bbq pork sandwich on a GF bun...that DID NOT FALL APART!!! It wasn't hard and was sooo yummy. Woo hoo!!! I also tried the GF fried zucchini and enjoyed that as well. Just let them cool down a bit and use the fork they bring you. The coating will fall off as you try to eat it. My sister was thrilled that they had real broasted chicken. The only thing I would change is--please have a chipotle ranch dressing for dipping. That is my favorite for dipping anything and slathering on sandwiches. Oh, and need wet naps! My husband was not happy with the price of the cocktails ($15), but they were awesome. My mojito was strained. So no chunks of mint sneaking up the straw. I definitely tasted the mint though. We sat at a two tables moved together, but we noticed that a couple of the booths had TV screens with Roku. I guess you can choose what you want to watch. Also, the booths have tall backs, so I would imagine it would feel nice and private in there. Everything was a dark wood surface--very homey. There was a patio on the east side, which would be nice in the evening. We will definitely come back!!!

We had a good meal, for what it was, at Strip's last night. You seat yourself. First we tried a booth but it's clear they didn't measure the spacing - the open booth was laughably small and the table was against my rib cage and the person across the table, so we opted for a regular 4 top. Service was very quick and food was tasty. As others have mentioned the menu says the meals include the side but that's not accurate and while it's still an affordable option, it's confusing for no reason. The waitress did clarify when ordering but why make her do that with EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER, when you could just be clear about it on the menu? Anyway, mine was quite good. Not groundbreaking but we all enjoyed our meals and thought we'd probably come back. My dad enjoyed the QR code check out. While our waitress was very prompt - it's nice to be able to leave when you're ready, rather than waiting on servers when it gets busy. Oh and they did renovate the space nicely, but again, they could do with remeasuring their booths since they aren't spaced correctly.

There's plenty of bright decor, neon signs, and TVs all around playing everything from live sports to K-Pop music videos! Upon request, our wonderful waitress walked us first-timers through the menu and made some recommendations (spoiler: all were fantastic!). We nabbed a couple appetizers - fries and mac and cheese - and ordered two half chicken servings: one thigh meat, one breast meat. With the chicken we tried four different sauces, and all were fantastic! Our favorites were the spicy sweet chili and the glazed honey soy! The chicken is perfectly fried - super crispy, but still moist meat! They know how to fry up a mean chicken here! We crushed ALL the food, and it was a perfect amount for four hungry people! Although the menu set expectations of the chicken being made fresh and taking up to 20 minutes to cook and arrive, ours arrived much quicker! Props to the cook for the prompt service! Also, I have to say that the value here is outstanding! A FULL family of four for less than $60 is headlining news these days! I guarantee we will be back often to 1981 K Chicken! Keven greeted me and walked me through their spice levels - so on the side of using good judgement I went for a medium 2 strip dinner. Made fresh to order it took about 8 minutes to get my order but it was a lovely change from the slightly warm chicken generally found at a fast food restaurant. These chicken strips were huge! And they've been crusted with the flavor - not drenched in sauce. The chicken was moist and delicious as were the seasoned fries. This will become a go to spot for chicken - winning out over any of the more well known places for me!

Overall, it gives the restaurant a modern street style feel with the bold colors and graffiti around. We bought 2 - one tender and one slider combos $14 each along with buffalo style Mac and cheese with three small chicken pieces $7 and the final bill including tip was $42. The tenders were packed with flavor - crispy and juicy chicken. It was perfectly fried and had the right amount of medium level spice on it. However the buffalo style Mac and cheese was cold and underwhelming - three pieces of chicken with hardly any actual Mac and cheese and fries - it was not what I expected. I definitely expected more Mac and cheese haha. Another downside for me was the pricing of the combos/food- it was high because if you look at the combo it's just two tenders with some bread and sauce. Portion wise it didn't really match the pricing for more of a fast food restaurant setup. The restaurant was clean otherwise and the service was decent - nothing amazing as such. Overall, good fast food with high pricing for what you get.

I'm excited just thinking about it. But oh man was I hoping for better. And I think this place could get there, if they can change some things. Joyce and Brandy laid it out well, so I'll just echo some main points: - The food could be better. Apparently it has been before. What I saw felt pretty low effort, the crispiness wasn't there. (South) Korean Fried Chicken is amazing because even with those delicious sauces, the chicken stays crispy. Best of both worlds! These wings were soggy. I didn't feel great after eating the meal. It wasn't ideal. - The service was nonexistent. I came up to the human at the counter, who directed me not to talk to her but to put in my order on the screen to the side. I hate these. I hate them so much. The UX on the terminal was clunky, the navigation in particular was so bad that there were whole sections of the menu that seemed to be missing. I now know to swipe left on the headers to scroll right to a second page of root-level categories, but be honest, just reading that in a sentence is confusing and annoying. Some people may like kiosks. That's fine! But mandating them is awkward and obnoxious. - I'm still on the service. There's a big menu. There are paper menus. There are little signs advertising fun looking items. I already know what I want. It is so much easier and more enjoyable to order with a real human and get their help. Why put the added friction of learning a clunky interface? An employee would be fluent in the system even if it's bad. And if my case is any indication, it's not helping their sales. I would totally have ordered more dishes if I'd known that was an option. It just looked like they were out so it wasn't available. - After putting in the order, I was prompted for a tip for the service. Which just felt like a coup de grace to my psyche. - It felt like there was no heart here. That's probably an ownership issue. I'm sympathetic to a point, it's not easy in general and there's a lot of pressure to cut costs (especially with the tariff arsonist disrupting supply chains). But the vibe here was dismal, you could feel it in the food and the staff. The space itself seems set up well to have large groups and good times. Could be a fun spot. But right now, the impression I get is that aside from the wings the kitchen does a lot of prepackaged instant food. So I'm not sure what they're trying to be - a decent wing place, or more of a fast-food/gas station type of spot. A vending machine with a deep fryer. Like I said before, this place has potential to be great if they can change some things. They're just going to have to want to. I'm rooting for them.

I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to receive my order and the food is always fresh. I also love that chick-fil-A has been banging out the limited release sandwiches recently, it's a nice switch up from a classic spicy chicken sandwich or cool wrap (my usual orders on the regular menu) Most recently my mom and I went in to try the jalapeno ranch chicken sandwich and we both enjoyed it but, be sure you ask for sauce packets because it doesn't come with the sauce already on the sandwich you have to dress it yourself. They also now have waffle chips (these debuted when the pretzel cheddar club sandwich was the limited release) it's nice to have a side option that's easier to take home with you if you don't want to eat it right then and there. The chick-fil-A sauce flavored ones don't necessarily match the taste of the epic chick-fil-A sauce in liquid form but, they do have tangy notes of bbq and a slight taste of honey mustard. It's unique to have a fast food restaurant put out a version of bagged chips! But, the best thing about Chick-fil-A will always be the sauce (and the quality of chicken) there are so many fun sauces to choose from, the OG chick-fil-A sauce is a must, the sriracha one is always something I order but, a tried and true combo is combining the buffalo with honey packets, little known about is their honey roasted barbecue but it's delicious!
