    Breakfast

First time in, been by 100 times at least, stopped in and so far two thumbs up . Will add more to this as time goes on. Very friendly staff, poor lady was doing it all herself.

We stopped in at 9:45 on May 25th. We sat at the bar to have one drink. As soon as we sat, the bartender indicated the kitchen was closed. We told him that was fine as we were only having one drink. He then proceeded to say "frankly we're about to close". As my photo shows the hours for Fridays are 11 am to 2 am. I completely understand bars close early if the place is dead. It was but there were a handful of other customers sitting at the bar. The bartender lost two potential customers last night and received the $0.30 tip he deserved.

    Beef sandwich with aus juice

I was referred to this place. I was disappointed in mu Luke warm sandwich which was supposed to beef with aus juice which was leaked all over the bottom of the bag. I ordered onion rings which were thrown in the same container with a pickle. So everything wad soggy and tasted like pickle. The beef tasted off . I took two bites and decided I didn't want to get sick. I don't feel a need to give this place a second visit. It was a waste of my $18.

We're here overnight and had a look online for local eats. Lots of fast food around, but had enough of that on the journey and most places are 10-15 min away. So we see JTs and figured we'd give it a go. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the place looked, modern and welcoming. Staff greeted us right away, seated us and had the waitress to take our order without a minute passing. Now they weren't busy at the time, but seemed like they could handle a busy night. We out in our order right away and the food arrived within about 8 minutes, hot and nicely presented. Waitress remained attentive the whole time and the food was quite good and affordable. We had the Cowboy burgers and enjoyed them cooked a perfect medium rare. We also ordered the onion rings and they weren't worth it. Greasy, soggy and average, but the standard fries were nicely done. It's a sports bar and represents the area well. Worth stopping in if you're passing through or a local wanting to grab a beer and burger.

The burnt ends were very much the burnt ends of the beef - my husband really liked them but I had some dry bits that were not fun to eat around. Mac & cheese was good, not off the charts. He liked the cheesy corn but did not care for the Mac & cheese. They decided the beef burnt ends is the best meat. I had the pineapple crush martini. It was nice but the glass could have been a little more full. The drink seemed like it's probably the kind that will sneak up on me but I only had one. It was pretty smooth and could have had several because it was very tasty. Can't wait to come back!

From what I hear it used to be pretty lame and just used to serve golf course food like hot dogs and hamburgers and stuff. But it's actually got a full on bar an awesome outside patio and plenty of seats inside. We had a party of six at quickly turned to a party of eight and our server Wyatt could not be beat. I ended up getting to Philly cheese steak while we also got some firecracker shrimp and cheese curds for an appetizer. We are pretty far south into the Midwest for cheese curds but they did them up just right. I ended doing a little bit of a special order on my Philly cheese steak I subbed in lettuce and tomato for onion and green pepper which I like but they do not like me. Food came out exceptionally fast between the burgers and salads that were made they also make an absolutely fantastic Pizza. The pizza is Detroit style which means the sauce goes on top which is kind of weird but it does work out. The crust is like Pizza Hut crust where it's super thick and tasty little on the greasy side but that is all in the plan. To top it off we were able to ride our golf cart there and back which made the six Busch lights I had even more pleasurable. Relax I didn't drive the golf cart people. We like so much we went back a second night! Thanks Wyatt!

We hit the club for brunch with a group, and while the ambiance was pure "Country Club Chic," the execution was a bit more "Sunday Morning Sand Trap." The Liquid Courage I started off my round with two drinks. the Bloody Mary. It was fine--tasty enough, but it certainly didn't change my life or inspire any poetry. However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

It's a lovely restaurant. It seems a bit out of the way with mostly corporate buildings around. The restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. I like the purple hyacinths hanging from the ceiling in one area. It was very steady for an off time in the afternoon. First, our server Olivia was amazing! Very attentive and we were extra needy this day so I really appreciate her patience. We even dropped food on the floor. Oops! She was so nice about it and cleaned it up immediately. We had customizations and extra requests. No problem for her! She went above and beyond. I hope she sees this because she was such a joy! The food was also very good. We started with the biscuits and one peach compote and one blueberry. Both were yummy. They were traditional drop biscuits and I love a good biscuit! We also had an order of fried green tomatoes on goat cheese grits. You get 4 very large slices. I could only eat one. The grits were yummy but there were not enough of them in relation to the friend green tomatoes. They were also encased by a sauce. I'm guessing a remoulade. I don't really care for remoulade sauce so I'd have removed it had I known it came with the dish. It really overpowered the goat cheese taste in the grits. The tomatoes were very al dente and I would have preferred them cooked a bit more. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. We got coffees and a chai. All of them were very good. A bit pricey for the amount you get though. Even with the smaller complaints, I'd still give th a 5 because of the outstanding service and the dishes were overall very good and large portions. We will definitely return and I hope to try out a breakfast item next visit!
