    Wallaby's Nachos

Came in on a Monday around 9pm. Was only us and a few people at the bar. Liked the feel of the place and its decorations, laid back and comfortable. Service was super fast and nice. Would love to see it during a game. Got the black and bleu burger and split a plate of the nachos. Burger was a bit cheaper thanks to the Monday special. Burger was slightly dry but for $7 who cares. Fries were incredible! Highly recommend this spot for a good burger on a budget.

Very solid bar & grill overall. Classic feel with a mixture of high tops / seat height tables, golden tee and trivia, and tons of screens to watch the game. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and the burgers are big and tasty. They also have good ranch which is very important at a bar.

Unfortunately, this was one of the shabbiest take-out meals I've had in as far as I can remember. We ordered : Teriyaki Boneless Wings Thai Garlic Boneless Wings 2x Chicken Caesar salads "Boneless wings" (see pics) were two (per order, four total) breaded chicken fillets with a large amount of relatively flavorless sauce. Not at all what you'd expect when ordering boneless wings. The romaine in the salad was fibrous and dry, definitely left out to dry. Caesar dressing was unremarkable but heavy, probably calorie-dense but of little pleasure. The salad needed a lot of help. This meal overall was not quite abysmal, but very far from good. I don't know what else to say except that for takeout, I don't recommend this pub/restaurant in the least. Almost anything else (non-chain) would be a more responsible choice. Teriyaki thing : 3 / 5 Thai thingy : 1.5 / 5 Caesar Salad : 0.5 / 5 Overall : 1.75 / 5

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Good place to watch football. The boneless wings are Hugh and delicious. We will go back.

Me and my company ate here twice now during lunch hours. They get busy with only 2 people so don't mind a wait. Friendly people and great food. Great pricing for what you get. Tequila and pineapple only $4 .. Mixed beers also cheap. I definitely don't agree with some of these bad reviews.. but hey.. Burgers A++

Parking was ample outside and we came in right about dinner time. We were sat immediately and I soon had a nice red beer. The cheese burgers were the special, so I opted for one of those with fries + the "my girlfriend isn't hungry" add of a couple chicken strips and some extra fries. The burger was perfect, but I've gotta say...for being a place called *Burg* and Barrel, their chicken strips are the best. They're juicy, the breading is fantastic, and they're always just really high quality. We came in while they were starting the trivia night deal, which I couldn't care less about, but if that's something you're a fan of...it's a thing here. Overall it was just another fantastic meal at the best burger/brew chain in the KC area.

I saw they had $4 vodka Red Bulls, and that solidified my want to come here even more. I didn't order an appetizer because I wanted to get straight to the food. I went with the Fried Clucker and a side of waffle fries. This sandwich was unbelievable huge..smothered in their house sauce, which tasted like a milder version of buffalo sauce. I thought the flavor was good, but the fried skin was falling off the chicken. Every time I cut a piece, the breading would just slide right off. Maybe they need to brine the chicken better to help it stick more but it was no biggie, it still had a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered the chicken-fried chicken, and honestly... nothing too special about it. The mashed potatoes that came with it were flavorless at first, but once we added salt and pepper, they were tasty. Now, I get that this is a bar and grill, so I'm not trying to be overly critical or nit-picky but in that category, Brewbakers definitely ranks on the higher end. This is hands down the best bar and grill I've tried when it comes to food. They even serve Jambalaya here.. what kind of bar and grill do you ever see serving this?? Would I come back? Of course! It is out of the way where i usually am, but im excited to come back and try other things off their menu.

She was more interested in hanging out with friends in the corner booth on her phone than worrying about customers. Maybe some training would be encouraged. I have worked in customer service for many years, and this experience could definitely have improvements.

The place is decorated really cool with a front patio & open garage door windows with cool lighting inside. Tons of TVs and a huge bar! The good stops there. The margarita was way too sweet but the canned Nutrl peach seltzer was good. The chips & salsa & queso took 25 minutes to come out, I figured they'd forgotten and almost wished i hadn't ordered them. The muscly bartender guy was nice enough but a big air head bc he forgot the guy's drinks beside me 2x... and it wasn't even busy, maybe 25 people in the whole place. Worst part was that they added 20% gratuity automatically but didn't tell me! I was ready to go & he took forever so I just handed him my card. He returned just the signature slip & I signed it but also asked for a copy for my expense report. Took 5 minutes for that & when I got it, I realized they added 20% gratuity, but yet the signature receipt didn't indicate that anywhere that tip was already added, so I accidentally tipped 50%! I didn't realize til I got back to my hotel & they didn't answer when I called back (it was 10pm). I was so mad, and when I called back the next day, the lady told me to call again around 4 & when I did, they didn't answer. Don't get fooled by this place -- check your receipts & don't bother with the food! And don't expect good service either.... OOOOOF.
