I have been here a few times now and every time I have been here the food is always been amazing. There is a wide verity of options to choose from, from Oysters to cheese burgers. Staff is always quick to check up on the table and helpful with food suggestions. With all the dollars on the wall you get the feel of a dive bar with the cleanliness of an actual restaurant.

I've been here twice and I love the wings . It's kind of a spot for old lovers and season people..but the response of service is pretty good. They see about you when you come in..but it truly determines what day you come in on....it's truly a bar situation but it can be good . I got a beer and Sriracha wings. I received sweet potatoes fries that I didn't order but..ok...the first day was great that's why I came back again..onion rings and my wings... absolutely great!!!! I can lie the wings are awesome.it a bar situation...I will come back.

Original Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Choice of Side (Baked Beans)

This new sports themed restaurant offered oysters, wings, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and kids' meals. They also had a full bar and a patio. I liked the newly remodeled dining area with a mix of booths and tables, many TVs tuned to sports channels and 80's background music - a notch or two too loud. The original grilled chicken sandwich with choice of side ($10.99) was served 12 minutes after I ordered at the bar, where the service was friendly and attentive. The sandwich had a moist, perfectly grilled, premium chicken patty on a buttered and toasted bun with fresh veggies. I enjoyed the many side options and opted for the baked beans, which were okay. A happy hour is on the way. Overall, pretty good.

We came in craving wings the other night and left full and happy. Jefferson's has some great happy hour deals that include a $1 half order of friend pickles, $5 tank 7s and my favorite $3 wells! Happy hour runs Monday: ALL DAY Tues-Friday: 11AM-5PM & 8PM - Close. We ended up splitting a 15 piece order of chicken wings with sweet potato fries (which was almost too much food.) They had a ton of sauce options, I absolutely loved the spicy garlic Parmesan and the hot citrus honey sauce! I really appreciated how clean the restaurant was and the service was fantastic. This might be my new favorite happy hour spot.

Stopped in to the newly opened Jefferson's in Lenexa for dinner. This place is amazing! TVs everywhere, and a fantastic menu with something for just about everyone. Hannah was our server, and she was absolutely great. Great service without being overly attentive. We tried the guacamole bacon burger, the fried oyster basket, and the fried mushrooms. The burger is on a potato bun & cooked perfectly, to a medium well, if you want it lower I think you can ask. The fire oysters and mushrooms had a similar breading, and it was flaky and crunchy, and the mushrooms were great with their homemade ranch. I highly recommend stopping in supporting this new local place. Also, if you're in Lawrence there's two locations there!

The beer at Jefferson's is COLD. It's probably my favorite thing about this restaurant, although there is a lot to like. The severs are quick and attentive and the food is great. I do wish the veggie burger was an Impossible Patty or something similar. A black bean burger just crumbles and falls apart when subbed for a regular meat patty. The ambiance is great with the exception of the lighting. It's so so so bright in this restaurant. All in all I love Jefferson's.

My husband and I love wings. We were really excited about trying this place. The wings were a perfect size, very well cooked and crunchy the way I like it. Unfortunately, they lacked flavor. I was really hungry and I definitely ate it all. I like that the wings come with tortilla chips or you can get a different side. My husband had a mushroom Swiss burger and that was delicious, very flavorful. The fries were a bit salty but not bad with ketchup. I will definitely return and try a different wing flavor perhaps a wet wing vs a dry wing. The service was good. The server was attentive and the people were super nice and inviting. The ambiance is a sports bar that has a lot of tvs and a great place to watch the game. It was interesting to see how they had dollar bills pinned to the walls. I'll need to do my research to find out the meaning behind that.

When dining at Jefferson's in Lenexa they really step up to the plate! I have yet to have a bad meal there! They are on par with their NKC location. Make sure to decorate a dollar and get the fried pickles. Or try fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks (or my personal favorite) fried jalapeños! For your entree you can't go wrong with the guacamole chicken wrap, fried pickle chicken sandwich, the philly cheesesteak or the oysters (I tried mine Cajun style.) For the sides I recommend the tots, curly fries or onion rings. Be sure to check out one of their 20 fabulous sauces as well! I use them for dipping! My favorites are Sweet N' Sassy, Hot Yaki & Turbo Charged. Make sure to polish it off with a dessert. Their best are their funnel cake fries. As usual the service is always on point! With friendly staff who will always get you what you need. The environment is clean and casual with a small outside area for dining.

Wasn't a good greeting from the waitress walking in, however Jake was awesome and made up for the short attitude getting! Thank you Jake! Burger was very good and love the fries.

Jefferson's has quickly become my number one go to place for wings. They have many different flavors with a broad spice level. My favorite so far has been the spicy garlic parm and the hot honey wings. The meat is good quality and always slightly crispy, just the way I like it. The hot honey has a sweet taste with an after taste burn. They are not too sticky considering the honey in the sauce and the sauce is thick enough to not immediately sink to the bottom. The Spicy garlic parm is also delicious. The spice level is comparable to a regular Buffalo level. Considering the placement on the scale I would have thought it would have a bit more of a kick but I have not tried anything higher on the scale yet. I also upgraded to the sweet potato fries and they did not disappoint. They were fresh and crispy and served with a delicious cinnamon dipping sauce. The tables were also very clean and I liked the amount of lighting. Some of the sports bars in the area tend to feel greasy and dark but I was pleasantly surprised that I did not feel like a ball of grease after leaving. Our waiter was really friendly and nice. He gave us suggestions and even pointed out the happy hour times to make sure we were able to get the best deal. The next time I am craving beer and wings I know where I am going!

I'm excited just thinking about it. But oh man was I hoping for better. And I think this place could get there, if they can change some things. Joyce and Brandy laid it out well, so I'll just echo some main points: - The food could be better. Apparently it has been before. What I saw felt pretty low effort, the crispiness wasn't there. (South) Korean Fried Chicken is amazing because even with those delicious sauces, the chicken stays crispy. Best of both worlds! These wings were soggy. I didn't feel great after eating the meal. It wasn't ideal. - The service was nonexistent. I came up to the human at the counter, who directed me not to talk to her but to put in my order on the screen to the side. I hate these. I hate them so much. The UX on the terminal was clunky, the navigation in particular was so bad that there were whole sections of the menu that seemed to be missing. I now know to swipe left on the headers to scroll right to a second page of root-level categories, but be honest, just reading that in a sentence is confusing and annoying. Some people may like kiosks. That's fine! But mandating them is awkward and obnoxious. - I'm still on the service. There's a big menu. There are paper menus. There are little signs advertising fun looking items. I already know what I want. It is so much easier and more enjoyable to order with a real human and get their help. Why put the added friction of learning a clunky interface? An employee would be fluent in the system even if it's bad. And if my case is any indication, it's not helping their sales. I would totally have ordered more dishes if I'd known that was an option. It just looked like they were out so it wasn't available. - After putting in the order, I was prompted for a tip for the service. Which just felt like a coup de grace to my psyche. - It felt like there was no heart here. That's probably an ownership issue. I'm sympathetic to a point, it's not easy in general and there's a lot of pressure to cut costs (especially with the tariff arsonist disrupting supply chains). But the vibe here was dismal, you could feel it in the food and the staff. The space itself seems set up well to have large groups and good times. Could be a fun spot. But right now, the impression I get is that aside from the wings the kitchen does a lot of prepackaged instant food. So I'm not sure what they're trying to be - a decent wing place, or more of a fast-food/gas station type of spot. A vending machine with a deep fryer. Like I said before, this place has potential to be great if they can change some things. They're just going to have to want to. I'm rooting for them.

Upon request, our wonderful waitress walked us first-timers through the menu and made some recommendations (spoiler: all were fantastic!). We nabbed a couple appetizers - fries and mac and cheese - and ordered two half chicken servings: one thigh meat, one breast meat. With the chicken we tried four different sauces, and all were fantastic! Our favorites were the spicy sweet chili and the glazed honey soy! The chicken is perfectly fried - super crispy, but still moist meat! They know how to fry up a mean chicken here! We crushed ALL the food, and it was a perfect amount for four hungry people! Although the menu set expectations of the chicken being made fresh and taking up to 20 minutes to cook and arrive, ours arrived much quicker! Props to the cook for the prompt service!
