Maddi and Mel are both awesome coaches. They know how to push you without overdoing it, and I always leave feeling like I got a great workout in. Maddi especially is a huge reason I keep coming back. She's consistent, motivating, and brings great energy every single class. Even on days when I'm not feeling it, she somehow gets me to push a little harder. Great studio, great coaches, and just a really good environment to work out in. Definitely recommend the Tustin location!

It's rare to find a gym where you actually look forward to who's going to be there, not just what's programmed. Chris (owner/instructor) is especially good at reading people and pushing you just past where you think your limit is. You end up doing more than you expected, regularly. There's also real connection beyond the floor. They organize occasional events -- I recently did a cooking class with ~20 women from the gym -- and it adds another layer to the experience. Since there wasnt too much guidance on that part, I felt like I pretty much paid for an interval training on the treadmill. This studio had HAIR TIES and TAMPONS and even face wash in their bathrooms for us girlies and it's not much but so thoughtful!! The instructor's were great at walking around and giving you tips on your workouts. The workout was amazing as always, it's really as hard as you decide to push yourself. So you could have an easy workout by doing body weight exercises or you could lift heavy. Easy parking in the lot up front.

As far as the 5-10 minute late window is concern, I learned to be punctual. 5-10 minutes really is more like 8-13 minutes because we have to set out mat and grab our weights, blocks, strap or whatever we need for the class. They also have a class wait list, adopting a 5-10 late window can seriously affect the schedules of other members. As far as the classes being warm, there is a strong reason for it. There is a description for every class. Otherwise, upon arrival one can ask the instructor the particulars of the class, including temperature. I love many of the instructors here, including very skilled and very friendly; Michaela. None of the instructors teach for the money. You will find that many of the instructors are dentist, attorneys and other professionals who love to share their talent and love being part of the community. If you live to give, come join!

This location of CorePower Yoga is located at the Marketplace, in the same plaza as Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack, and Boot Barn. There is plenty of parking in this retail plaza. Upon entering the studio, there was a cute waiting area with a fire place, merchandise for purchase, and a front desk. I came early since it was my first time at this studio, but I was surprised when I was told there was no waiver. I was shown to my studio space, but pretty much left on my own to explore the rest of the studio. They have 2 studio spaces that both look large. There are also male and female lockers areas with lockers, bathrooms, and showers. For the CoreRestore class, there were battery-powered candles throughout the studio space. We were instructed to grab 4-5 blocks and settle in at a spot by the wall for the legs up the wall poses. The class was pretty full. Unfortunately there was a person near me that was sniffling and coughing which made me even more germ concerned since we were trapped in this steamed room together. I liked that Elizabeth asked the class if we had any areas we need extra focus on. There were those who mentioned shoulders and back so those areas got extra loving. I enjoyed the opening poses and I feel mostly restful. Elizabeth was really nice and encouraged the class to do what we are comfortable with. At times there were some descriptions that were hard to follow, especially since the room is dark, but she would come around and guide us if we needed help. Class pricing is on the pricier side, since I did use more credits for this class compared to similar classes at another studio. I checked their pricing and confirmed that it was also more than other studios if I came without classpass. Great for those who enjoy hot yoga work outs, but I don't find it relaxing. I dislike stinky classmates sweating, potential for cardiovascular strain, and increased injury risk from over stretching that comes with hot yoga.

If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

Mia complimented my flexibility but then suggested I come 3x/week. I think it was to fully upsell me if I'm being honest. Sharing the prices below, I couldn't justify spending anywhere close to that for a 30m stretch session. It close to the price for a massage. Minus 1 star for the pricing, but it did feel great!

I still remember taking my first intro class with Maddy B. She was so energetic, encouraging, and attentive that I signed up immediately after class. Over the past four and a half years, I've progressed from Level 1.5 to Level 2.0, and Pilates has made a huge difference in my life. It has helped relieve the neck and shoulder tension from years of sitting at a desk, strengthened my core, improved my posture, and made me feel stronger and leaner overall. My favorite instructors are Maddy B., Brittany K., and Adriann. Their classes always have a great flow, creative combos, and full-body programming that keeps every workout challenging and engaging. Brittany K.'s classes, in particular, always push me in the best way possible. Another thing I really appreciate is how well the studio is maintained. Over the years, they've continued to update the equipment, so everything feels modern, clean, and in excellent condition. I've also tried a few other modern Pilates studios, but I still prefer Club Pilates because the classes incorporate a wider variety of equipment, including the Pilates Chair and ballet barre, in addition to the Reformer. That variety makes the workouts feel more dynamic and the class flows much more interesting. It's one of the biggest reasons I've continued coming back for nearly four and a half years. I also have to give a shoutout to the front desk team. They are always so warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Whenever I've had scheduling questions or needed to reschedule a class, they've been incredibly responsive. Even if the person I initially contacted wasn't available, someone else would always return my call promptly and help me get everything sorted out. That level of customer service really makes a difference. I can't recommend this studio enough. I don't expect much from a gym besides a clean environment, working equipment, and decent staff, and this location does all of that well. Another thing I've noticed is that the members here generally have pretty solid gym etiquette, which makes workouts a lot more enjoyable. I went to On Center Conditioning for a couple of years back when I was a college student. During…read morethat time I was in the process of losing 40 pounds and On Center helped me acheive that. They had a student discount at $10 for a semi-private session back then. Since then everytime I go to a Pilates class I compare it to On Center. A few times I even was lucky enough to have Rael himself as part of the teaching team during my session. I still hear his voice in my head -- granted he never pronounced my name correctly -- but it sounded good in his accent. He would correct my movements from around a corner where I wondered "How can even see that I'm not bending my knees?" But he can. Because he is a Pilates God. Not to mention he's trainined the BASI Certified instructors that you will encounter all over the world. The other instructors are just as awesome Lisa Clayton and Maria were some of my favorites. Also, If you ever feel like slacking off during your workout you look next to you and there's a 60-year young lady balancing on the reformer with a way better body than you had at 17 for inspiration. I love this place and miss it dearly. Why can't I just be rich? It was worth every penny but unfortunately I'm out of pennies these days.

I've always wanted to check out a Pilates reformer class, so when there was a KGB deal for 3…read moreclasses, I was game. Prior I had only done Pilates mat classes at a local yoga studio. The deal was for either the long and lean reformer and/or the Pilates body reformer class. I took both classes to see the difference of the two classes and the two instructors. I ended up liking the Long & Lean Reformer classes with Jill. Felt I got more one on one time and she made sure to correct my form and I felt a little bit more challenged. If you've done yoga or Pilates mat classes, the classes won't be too bad, though I need to focus on when to inhale and to exhale during certain moves. Though my favorite part is the view which is AMAZING and it's really tranquil in their space. They have the whole sixth floor and I love the view. I got an opportunity to check it out both in the evening and the day.
