Mo's expertise in body mechanics is impressive, and she has an incredible knack for finding and relieving tight spots you didn't even know you had. Her gentle approach ensures that nothing ever hurts, and I always leave feeling light and relaxed. After a session with Mo, my hip flexors, lower back, and quads are completely rejuvenated, which has significantly improved my hiking, walking, and mountain biking. Yes Adam, All they had to do when I asked about my session was to say at the month's end, "Do you want to continue with your sessions?" Then, hand out a paper to assist with stopping the sessions. They are not proactive like this because they trap others into another month of sessions and billing. They would have gotten months more out of me had they been professional and transparent. I had about 12 of my nurse friends ready to sign up. They all give a big thumbs down now. They have gone to the lab ?around the corner. read more

This review is for my recent experience after joining their monthly 50 minutes 4x a month program and having had a few sessions I was initially skeptical of the value proposition but I met an excellent instructor-- Rich Martin -- who has done a fantastic job so far helping me increase mobility and flexibility His experience plus professional and educational background in doing this for a long time shows up well during our sessions -- he has been able to isolate areas of focus and push me beyond what I thought were my limitations in terms of range of motion. He is also very knowledgeable regarding many other areas of general fitness and physical therapy I understand some of the other reviews that may have been negative because of the difficulty or misunderstandings re the cancellation process -- well I cannot speak to that yet, but so far it has worked out quite well for me and I intend to use the facility and the program for atleast through the summer read more

I paid $60 over the phone for a 25 minutes session. I show up at the appointed time and they tell me it's not happening. They rescheduled it to half our later. They said they messaged and called me earlier but when we dig deeper they texted and called the wrong number, not my number. So I'm supposed to wait 40 minutes now? The people who can afford this stuff are not blue collar workers, we can't afford to sit around and wait for an appointment that "had to be rescheduled" for reasons unclear. (If their employees might not be available at that time, why schedule me for that time in the first place?) I like StretchLab but this is my last time to this location, I live nearby but will likely seek out another StretchLab location in the future. read more

Won a 2 month membership to StretchLab Tustin and had a great experience! Each month comes with four 25 minute sessions which you can also choose to combine two sessions if you want a longer appointment. I prefer combining for a 50 minute stretch because that way I can get a full body stretch in one session instead of choosing upper or lower body. Booking appointments is also super easy using their online system. Every flexologist has a different style and since I prefer a more quiet session I really liked working with Rachel. She was always very friendly and stretched me out really well. Overall highly recommend if you need some assistance with stretching, workout a lot, or do sports! I have enjoyed the stretching but their lack of customer appreciation for a 2+ year customer is surprising. 7 months ago we moved to a nearby town. This made the trip between 30-45 minutes each way depending on freeway traffic. As opposed to 10 minutes with no freeway traffic. So I gave my cancellation notice on Jan 3, 2022. I was told that since my monthly bill was on the 1st I would be charged for Jan and that a 30 day notice was required to cancel so I would also be charged for Feb. I wasn't happy but its in their contract. This morning I had to cancel an appointment for later today. A few days ago I had what felt like a cold and decided to get tested for CV anyway. I got the results back late last night that I was positive. So this morning along with my request to reschedule I sent a screenshot of my test results to their company via text asking to reschedule. I immediately got a text notice of appointment cancellation. A few minutes later I got another text saying that since my request was within the 12 hour appointment window I lost my ability to reschedule. The appointment would go against my monthly allotment. This is also in their contract which I knew about. I just felt like this was pretty harsh as I was trying to do the right thing and I have never had to reschedule within the 12 hour appointment window, in the 2+ years I was going to Stretchlab. I stuck with them during 2020, which was a difficult year for small businesses! read more

As others have mentioned, the cancelling policy is unethical. I too was told all I had to do was cancelled anytime during the month, to not get charged for the next month (after my 3 month contract was up). Surprise...surprise...now all the sudden I am told I have to give them 31 days and told to look at my contract. So let me get this striaght: What comes out of your sales persons mouth doesnt count? The only thing that counts is whats in the contract? The trainer was great but I will NEVER EVER recommend this them to anyone else going forward (and I had referred a couple people my first 3 months). This kind of contract BS just shows you what type of firm they are. They cant be trusted. I purchased a gift card last December from the Spectrum store (now closed), but was told the card would be valid at any location. I gave it to my husband for Christmas and when he tried to use it at the Tustin store in January he was told they were not able to "activate" it so he paid for his session with a credit card. After many phone calls to different locations to get help, Elmer at the Tustin location very kindly helped me and told me I could set up an appointment at your TUSTIN location and that you would honor the gift card. When I arrived the cashier said he couldn't activate it. I asked to speak to a manager. The cashier called the manager from the back room and returned to say that the manager would be in in a half hour if I wanted to wait for him to tell me that they couldn't honor the gift card. I have tried contacting corporate for a refund without any response. I have also emailed the owner/manager of the Tustin location with no response. Any reputable business would've replied. How much do I love StretchLab?? It's awesome!! I'm a retired professional dancer and the regular stretch sessions that I have been getting for the past year have saved me from having chronic back and neck pain. It's absolutely essential for me to attend regularly and the flexologists here really deliver. Each one has something different to offer. They're well trained and they work with each person to make sure they tailor your session especially for you. The facility is clean and well maintained and everyone there is so friendly. Be prepared to get stuck in a payment plan that they make nearly impossible to get out of. I would call in to cancel and they would say the person that does cancellations isn't there. They get your number and say he'll call you back. He doesn't ever call you back. After 3 times calling for that trick I made them get me a manager. Then they delayed my cancellation so they could charge me another month. And if you cancel you lose all of your currently purchased and booked sessions. Even if your account is still active. They are very tricky how they take your money. I wouldn't sign anything again with these folks. read more

I received a gift card for a stretch as a birthday present. I had wanted to do this but never took the time. Thanks to the gift certificate I made it a point to finally do it. I Was greated by Sarah the owner of the business when I arrived. Sarah was very welcoming. She assigned Rachel as my flexologist. Rachel was amazing. Her techniques felt so amazing that I continued with more sessions. I didn't realize how an assisted stretch would loosen my body so nicely. I agree with others on here, who had a good experience with the stretch, but a bad experience with payments and contracts, and no ethical treatment there. I was told when I signed up that I could cancel at any time so that the 299 wouldn't be charged Again however that's not the case I was not allowed out of my contract and told I must keep my 12 week commitment which is two more payments of 299 on top of my first payment of 299. That's a hell of a lot of money that I wasn't planning on spending!! so with the cost of gas and groceries and everything else that's happened in this world you would think that businesses would have a little bit more flexibility to what's happening, but no, I guess business is business and people don't matter! What a poor business model for continued loyalty from customers. You definitely don't have my continued loyalty or money. super frustrated. read more

Sara assigned me to Kelly, who was extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Kelly gave me stretches I can do on my own and really educated me about the best thinks I can do for my tight muscles. I was able to go in once. Justin was great. However, you should know a few things before you spend hundreds of dollars like I did. First, any sessions you buy can only be used at this stretch lab or "maybe" those owned by same owner (as reported by a rep from the Long Beach location). They are not exchangeable accross various stretch labs. Second, I bought a set of 4 sessions and I was not told they MUST be used within 30 days. So, I lost those sessions and that money. Had I known I would not have purchased them because I knew I could not guarantee that I would be able to use them with my sister within the month. Stretching is great, but this is a very expensive way to go. Super dissappointed in the lack of transparency about these two key factors. Shame on me for not being a more savvy consumer. read more

The concept of StretchLab is excellent and could be something everyone could benefit from, no matter your age or activity level. This is an investment in yourself. The facility is clean, and the primary flexologist I've gone to, Beri, is an ace whom I can't recommend enough. She's smart, a great conversationalist, and tactfully careful and considerate with each assisted stretch. The facility also has a FloWater water dispenser (read: basically a top-notch water filtration system) that you can refill your reusable water bottles with at your visits. They do ask that you bring grip socks; otherwise, they do have pairs for sale as well. The primary reason I'm only rating it 4/5 stars is primarily because of the cost factor. This is a luxury service, without a doubt. I signed up as a "founding member" for this new StretchLab location, but I have recently cancelled my membership because I felt the cost of it was not something I wanted to get locked into paying month after month. Additional gripe would be how often the facility would contact me -- it was a fine line of being considerate and accommodating vs desperate for business. I think they've toned it down since their initial opening, though. As a fresh business, they do appear open to feedback and just want to improve. I do hope to return for the occasional session here and there in the future. TLDR; A service everyone could benefit from -- but for a pricy cost. Had an excellent 3 months at StretchLab! I tried myself for years to improve the flexibility of my hamstrings but could only maintain my range of motion. So, I decided I needed help, and in 3 months I made so much improvement ! I do ballroom dancing and with StretchLab I reached my goal to kick my feet up higher. I've suffered from chronic back pain for as long as I can remember. My weight and the size of my chest does not fit with the frame of my body, which makes trying to work out very difficult. I have had to manage the pain on my own for a long time. It wasn't until a couple of months ago, I was referred to Stretchlab in Tustin through a friend I met at the gym. It was there that I met Allie. I have to admit, I had a lot of anxiety about getting stretched. Sometimes with body pain, you can't always tell if you'll feel better or worse after a stretch or massage. Even with the best masseuse or flexologist that does everything correctly to try and help you, you can still be in pain at the end of your session. Allie is very patient and kind. Being able to sense my anxiety, she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed as she guided me through each stretch. She would let me know what part of the body we were going to focus on next, where I should be feeling the stretch, and she always made sure that the stretch did not cause me any pain. I can honestly say my back felt a lot better after that my first stretch session with Allie. I've only had 2 sessions with Allie so far because sessions are not cheap. But working with a flexologist like Allie, I believe the money is worth it! I hope I can get on Allie's table again soon. read more

Hands down the most satisfactory purchase I've had in maybe 5 years. I have to shout out Andres who was super easy to get along with and had really good informative way of teaching as he was working. I think his casual judgement-free demeanor really went hand in hand with the process of release and I highly recommend him for a session, at the same time everyone of the staff seemed awesome and super friendly. It's one of those things you have to experience to fully understand and every other customer in the building seemed to be having the same great experience. I highly recommend scheduling her if you can.Clean environment; parking can be a problem at certain times/days. Reception staff is not always the friendliest or most welcoming, but I can live with that. At the high cost, it is definitely a luxury item, but great if you can afford it.
