It was amazing. I went on Valentine's Day and I was partnered up with a teacher. I forgot her name. I'm so sorry but it was so amazing. I loved it. It's family owned and I I love the persona and the atmosphere. Everybody was so kind and loving.

From the POV of a male who works 60 hours a week and realized in order to be sustainable, I needed something that was truly special: I found it - Yoga. Most importantly, I found the perfect family for my yoga practices for the rest of my life #yogiforever #yogasix4evet Community. Love. Respect. Once you're in YogaSix, you are family for life across all their branches. Context: As a loyal YogaSix member from the Mountain View branch in Northern California, I've always had an amazing experience with this incredible community. YogaSix truly feels like a family. The app provides seamless visibility into all the branches, and as a member, I appreciate the discounts on supplies, the thoughtfully designed spaces with clean water stations, well-maintained bathrooms, and all the equipment you could need. The staff knows your name if you're a regular, and the diverse, calming instructors ensure every yoga session is exceptional. Yogasix Irvine Location: This location and service, especially GM Kelsi: During the holidays, I visited Irvine, where I lived for over 10 years before moving for work, to spend time with my family. I reached out to the Irvine YogaSix location, and the service I received from the general manager, Kelsi, was beyond exceptional. She immediately accommodated me by opening up two spaces for classes-no questions asked. Kelsi's warmth, professionalism, and ability to make the entire process so smooth made me feel right at home. The studio was spotless, the logistics were seamless, and the family-oriented culture reminded me why I love this brand so much. Anytime I visit my family in Irvine, I'll absolutely return to this location thanks to Kelsi and her amazing team. #yogi4ever #yogasix4ever Highly recommend starting your yoga journey, or enhancing your existing one with the Yogasix family. I have and have never looked back.

YogaSix is located in the same plaza as Trader Joes, Omomo and Smart & Finals off Culver and Walnut. Parking is always terrible. They are like 5 minutes from me so when I saw a class opening on ClassPass I made the mistake of booking it without reading the description. WARNING WARNING HOT YOGA!! If you like hot yoga, this might be the place for you... but not a place for me. As instruction I arrived 15 minute prior to class time to fill out any first time studio paperwork. Pretty standard, but if an online version was available to be filled out it would be even better. Before even trying out my first class, they were immediately PUSHY ON MEMBERSHIP. What a turn off. Membership prices here are ABOVE AVERAGE RELATIVE TO NEARBY YOGA BUSINESSES. Only 4 classes per month for $96 monthly commitment or $146 single location unlimited assess. I know other businesses in the area around $99-125 unlimited classes per month so this is on the high side. There were cubbies to put you belongings in. No cell phones in the studio space, please put your phones on vibrate or off. I liked that there was a water dispense in the lobby, which is much needed since the studio room is hot. From the minute I walked in the studio space I was like uh ohh what did I sign up for? But I stuck with it cause I'm the type of person to follow through, but I really regret it. The instructor forced us to grab 3 pairs of weights. The lowest was a 3 pound and I KNOW that's heavy for me for doing reps and things, but I was forced to grab 3 sets. I grabbed 3s, 5s and 10s... Guess what?? I never used the 5s or the 10s and at the end I had to clean and carry them back. Jeez if you were going to clean them, by all means I'll grab 3 but now it's an INEFFICIENT!! All that traffic from a room full of students returning 3 sets of unwanted weights is annoying. The class was also not very yoga-like. Other reviews warned me of this. The flow was very upbeat probably more similar to Soul Fusion or Pilates and less like Yoga. During class the studio was stinky and stuffy. FULL CAPACITY NO DISTANCING. There were moves where we were endangered of bumping into each other even with attempts to stagger. This would have annoyed me even pre pandemic. The whole time I felt like we would catch Covid from this nasty sauna STINKY room with terrible distancing. My poor yoga mat was contaminated. I threw all of my clothes in the laundry when I got home... and I threw away my new face mask. I was already turned off for pushy sales services and pricing reasons. They made my decision on rating easy because the day after my class, they decide to CALL ME ON A FRIDAY NIGHT asking me about membership. I was like this is NOT an appropriate time to reach out to me and I am NOT INTERESTED!! I feel like everything about my experience was awful and a 3 star is already generous on my part. They are less than 5 minutes from me and I have no intentions to come back .

    Welcome sign!

Who forgets that their body needs some relaxation from time to time? 100% guilty. Taking a class at YogaSix reminded me of how much I actually loved and missed the feeling yoga gave me compared to the intense work outs I sometimes do (keyword, sometimes hahah) So, I chose to go back to beginner mode & took a "slow flow" class in a warmed room. I personally liked the pace of this class because it gave me the opportunity to really explore all the postures the instructor demonstrated and pushed me to focus on the fluidity of each movement. Safety wise, I feel like I've had a different experience than most reviews on here. Almost everyone had their masks on & there was a limited capacity of 6 per class. All in all, I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the studio & how friendly the staff + other fellow yogis were. It's no surprise they've remained open for this long during the pandemic. I NEEDED the peaceful energy after a long 12 hour shift & that's exactly what this place helped me walk out with. Slept like a baby once I got home!

    Blissful day after Lyna's class!

The space feels so warm and welcoming the moment you walk in, and I love that the yoga classes are heated, it just adds to the whole experience. The staff was very friendly when I checked in, which always makes a difference, especially when it's your first time somewhere. A quick heads up: The studio is a little hard to find at first. It's located inside a business complex in a suite (not a standalone storefront). I parked in the lot across from Mud Hen Clay & Art Studio and found the stairs there that lead up to the studio. I'd recommend arriving a bit early so you have time to find parking and get settled. Also, the restroom is a shared community bathroom with the other suites in the complex, so just keep that in mind. I took a Hatha/Vinyasa class with Kimberly on a Saturday morning and it was great. The flow felt balanced and grounding. This was my first time here and my first impression was such a good one. I'd love to come back.

The restorative yoga truly is for all levels, beginners included! The ambiance was perfect. I loved the dim lighting, the relaxing music, smell of incense, the feel of wind on your face, and the tranquil noises during the yoga. Kim created an entire experience. Blocks, straps and pillows were provided. Cons: The studio is hard to find. My gps took me around the block a couple times. I was looking for a building. It's definitely a suite in a building with lots of other businesses. It's on the second floor, in the corner. It's an older looking building with a lot of corporate looking businesses. There's parking in the back. Hard to find, but once you know- you know. 10/10 yoga class!

I made sure to arrive early... especially when there was this excerpt on the class that says, "Arriving late, even unintentionally can take away from others - their peace, focus, and time". The parking lot was hard to find. I actually had to circle it a few times before finding it, and parking in their back lot. I entered from the back door and made my way through the front to check in with the owner. I checked in early. I signed in. I SIGNED THE WAIVER. The owner was going to give me a studio tour but she kept getting busy with other things. That's fine, not an issue. Their studio space is small. For aerial, there are 9 silks, so 1 for the instructor and 8 for the students. The front left is a bit close to some equipment so the teacher took that spot when it got busy. The spacing is a bit tight, and can cause students to bump into each other if they are not mindful. Also the studio is off a busy street and I can hear the cars driving by, so it could be more relaxing. Come early! Especially with aerial. It is important to adjust the silks where the bottom is at your pelvic height. A lot of the students did not come in until the start of class time, and the instructor still had to lower the silks and then adjust it to their height. OUR CLASS STARTED 10 MINUTES LATE. I don't blame the instructor because they can't turn away their students... but that is 10 minutes wasted from my time even though I was early and prepared. The aerial class itself was a great work out. A bit on the basic end of aerial yoga. I know the instructor mentioned she designs it based on the level of the class and we had some folks who were first timers so the instructor went easy on us. The owner offered to take pictures for us, but she went away. The instructor was nice to take photos too, but her yoga skills are definitely better than her photography skills. In one of the photos where my face and body shaped looked the best, she had her whole thigh in it. Sigh. We were 3 minutes from class ending time and we didn't even get into the silks for a cocoon savasana. At that point I just left cause it didn't seem like we would be doing the savasana or anything. What annoyed me the most ... is receiving a messaging telling me I didn't sign a waiver and that I need to sign one next time. WOW !! I came early... signed the waiver... had my time wasted... and now I get this email telling me I didn't sign the waiver. Before receiving that message I was in the air about coming back. But after seeing that message I was so annoyed. I am not coming back... It would have been more tactful to wait for me to come back and ask me at that time to sign if they misplaced the last one. I work out to relax but this whole experience was so stressful. I shouldn't have my time wasted if THEY are disorganized.
