Yoga studio
Andrea C.

This studio is absolutely amazing. Everything from the space, to the instructors, to the music. It's so zen and the decor is so beautiful and intentional. I have been to a few different studios over the years but I feel like I found my home here. You can tell the owner Kim has poured so much love into this place. I always look forward to my classes. Whether you're in the beginning of your yoga journey or have been practicing for a while, I highly recommend checking this studio out!

A beautiful new studio

Still the most amazing yoga studio in OC. Recently moved to an even better location with incredible windows and views of trees. If you are looking for a beautiful place to practice yoga with supportive and wonderful teachers, this is your spot!

Caffe Yoga is a yoga and wellness studio tucked in the center of retail madness at the District at Tustin Legacy. They are right across from Pinot Palette. I pass by all the time but the stars did not align until recently for me to attend a class here. I booked my class via classpass and the credits required was really affordable. It is suggested that you come 15 min prior to the class time to prevent delays. The real cause of delays is this busy plaza. You will need to fight through parking and walk your way over. The check in line was congested so definitely come early. Staff is nice. One thing I didn't like was the TINY FONT form in DIM LIGHTING. I literally had to ask them to let me take it outside where there's decent lighting for me to read the form before signing it. Your signature protects other people, so read before signing. Advice to the business: Maybe have a QC code people can scan and fill out or sign on their phone. Less points of contact and the digital record will be easy for the business to maintain. I got a mini tour of the studio since it was my first time. To the left of the entrance is where you put your belongings. Front desk is to the right of the entrance, with merchandise right behind. The location makes it difficult for me to look at the items as long as there is staff behind the desk... which they are most of the time. Then there is the main studio space. To the back they have the restroom in this nice peaceful room with props like the rental mats ($2), blocks and bolster. Their bolster is skinnier than the standard bolsters at other studios. I prefer the thicker bolsters for my poses. Anyways back to my Rest and Restore class with Stephanie. We were told to place our mat down anywhere we want. The class started 3 minutes late and extended 4 minutes over. It bothers me. The class itself was a decent format. Nice stretches and twists. There were variations if you prefer a deeper or less deep practice. It would be more relaxing if I didn't hear sounds from their neighbors. Thin walls. The downfall of a studio in a busy retail area and sharing walls without enough insulation. While the one class pricing via classpass seems reasonable, I don't personally see frequent visits to this studio because they currently only have 1 or 2 classes a day. My preferred practice time would be at 4:30pm on the dot if the business plans to have additional times in the future. So I like this studio, but not loving it. I don't mind visiting when the stars align again, but it wouldn't be integrated into my schedule any time soon.

So many things to say about this amazing studio, the class flows are well designed so that you can try new, challenging movements, lots of them involve balance so I feel more agility. The cues that Kim gives are so helpful for improving your form. After class I always feel grounded, well stretched and worked out, a beautiful combination. The studio is a peaceful yoga setting!!! Ambient lighting, beautiful music and the interior has a natural vibe. This is a great yoga studio, love the classes, and the instructors are so kind. Highly recommend.

Got to check this studio thru class pass and I enjoyed it! Located Inside of the district. Right in front of the Boba cafe. I tried their vinyasa flow class and the instructor was great. Good flow of the routine. They offer these coins that's placed on top of your mat and depending if you want instructors to correct you or not you have the option to say yes or no before the class starts. Overall love how zen this studio is and temperature is just right. I got to try their community class offered on Sundays taught by newly certified instructors and it was a good experience. I appreciate the efforts of cultivating growth in these practicing instructors. It can get a lil choppy sequencing between 5 different instructors but still a very good session. I definitely suggest checking this studio out!

I don't like hot yoga, but I will try to refrain those sentiments to give this studio a fair assessment. This location of CorePower Yoga is located at the Marketplace, in the same plaza as Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack, and Boot Barn. There is plenty of parking in this retail plaza. Upon entering the studio, there was a cute waiting area with a fire place, merchandise for purchase, and a front desk. I came early since it was my first time at this studio, but I was surprised when I was told there was no waiver. I was shown to my studio space, but pretty much left on my own to explore the rest of the studio. They have 2 studio spaces that both look large. There are also male and female lockers areas with lockers, bathrooms, and showers. For the CoreRestore class, there were battery-powered candles throughout the studio space. We were instructed to grab 4-5 blocks and settle in at a spot by the wall for the legs up the wall poses. The class was pretty full. Unfortunately there was a person near me that was sniffling and coughing which made me even more germ concerned since we were trapped in this steamed room together. I liked that Elizabeth asked the class if we had any areas we need extra focus on. There were those who mentioned shoulders and back so those areas got extra loving. I enjoyed the opening poses and I feel mostly restful. Elizabeth was really nice and encouraged the class to do what we are comfortable with. At times there were some descriptions that were hard to follow, especially since the room is dark, but she would come around and guide us if we needed help. Class pricing is on the pricier side, since I did use more credits for this class compared to similar classes at another studio. I checked their pricing and confirmed that it was also more than other studios if I came without classpass. Great for those who enjoy hot yoga work outs, but I don't find it relaxing. I dislike stinky classmates sweating, potential for cardiovascular strain, and increased injury risk from over stretching that comes with hot yoga.

The Best Sculpt Instructors! LOVE this Corepower location!…read more I absolutely love taking sculpt classes at this location especially at 9:30 am. The workouts are so well-structured -- challenging in the best way, with use of weights that make you feel strong and accomplished every time. They push you without ever feeling overwhelmed and their energy is truly unmatched. I've been coming to this location for the past few years, and last year it truly helped me both physically and mentally throughout my 3rd pregnancy. Now I'm 6 months postpartum, and it's been rough getting my body to feel "normal" again -- but their classes have been a total game changer. They make me feel strong, capable, and proud of my progress every time I do show up. And the music... always a vibe! Their playlists hit perfectly every class and make the workout motivating and fun. You can tell they put real thought into creating an amazing experience. My two favorite yoga instructors here are Nora and Nicolette -- they complete the experience with their calming, supportive teaching styles. Truly such a great team all around. If you're looking for a sculpt class that tones, energizes, and empowers you, they are it. Highly recommend! ‍

I have been curious about Sanctuary Wellness Center & Yoga Studio for a long time now. I was so…read moreexcited to see an opening for Aerial Yoga during a time I was available. I made sure to arrive early... especially when there was this excerpt on the class that says, "Arriving late, even unintentionally can take away from others - their peace, focus, and time". The parking lot was hard to find. I actually had to circle it a few times before finding it, and parking in their back lot. I entered from the back door and made my way through the front to check in with the owner. I checked in early. I signed in. I SIGNED THE WAIVER. The owner was going to give me a studio tour but she kept getting busy with other things. That's fine, not an issue. Their studio space is small. For aerial, there are 9 silks, so 1 for the instructor and 8 for the students. The front left is a bit close to some equipment so the teacher took that spot when it got busy. The spacing is a bit tight, and can cause students to bump into each other if they are not mindful. Also the studio is off a busy street and I can hear the cars driving by, so it could be more relaxing. Come early! Especially with aerial. It is important to adjust the silks where the bottom is at your pelvic height. A lot of the students did not come in until the start of class time, and the instructor still had to lower the silks and then adjust it to their height. OUR CLASS STARTED 10 MINUTES LATE. I don't blame the instructor because they can't turn away their students... but that is 10 minutes wasted from my time even though I was early and prepared. The aerial class itself was a great work out. A bit on the basic end of aerial yoga. I know the instructor mentioned she designs it based on the level of the class and we had some folks who were first timers so the instructor went easy on us. The owner offered to take pictures for us, but she went away. The instructor was nice to take photos too, but her yoga skills are definitely better than her photography skills. In one of the photos where my face and body shaped looked the best, she had her whole thigh in it. Sigh. We were 3 minutes from class ending time and we didn't even get into the silks for a cocoon savasana. At that point I just left cause it didn't seem like we would be doing the savasana or anything. What annoyed me the most ... is receiving a messaging telling me I didn't sign a waiver and that I need to sign one next time. WOW !! I came early... signed the waiver... had my time wasted... and now I get this email telling me I didn't sign the waiver. Before receiving that message I was in the air about coming back. But after seeing that message I was so annoyed. I am not coming back... It would have been more tactful to wait for me to come back and ask me at that time to sign if they misplaced the last one. I work out to relax but this whole experience was so stressful. I shouldn't have my time wasted if THEY are disorganized.
