Pros: Adorable studio! Love the ambiance! Kim was the instructor and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable and gave explanations for each pose. I enjoyed that she explained which areas/ muscles were being stretched/ focused on with each pose. Kim also offered modifications for each pose- THANK YOU SO MUCH! There's all levels of fitness and having modifications, allows everyone to participate- regardless of fitness level/ experience with doing yoga. The restorative yoga truly is for all levels, beginners included! The ambiance was perfect. I loved the dim lighting, the relaxing music, smell of incense, the feel of wind on your face, and the tranquil noises during the yoga. Kim created an entire experience. Blocks, straps and pillows were provided. Cons: The studio is hard to find. My gps took me around the block a couple times. I was looking for a building. It's definitely a suite in a building with lots of other businesses. It's on the second floor, in the corner. It's an older looking building with a lot of corporate looking businesses. There's parking in the back. Hard to find, but once you know- you know. 10/10 yoga class!

Behind the check in desk

I found caffe yoga by accident a little over a year ago, and I have referred it to several people who are now just as hooked as I am. The owner Kim is so welcoming, and so sweet. She cares about each and every yogi, and welcomes everyone with open arms. She has cultivated an amazing group of instructors, carefully selecting those that value physical safety first and then vibes. Which for those of us with injuries is so important! The studio highlights the small details- like the vibey lighting from unique lamps, to candles lining the walls, and the cool towel at the end (for most classes) with the lemongrass scent. The sense of community that you get when you come to caffe yoga is one that I've never found in any other studio. Everyone is accepted with open arms from not just the instructors but also the students. I've never met a more grounded and friendly group of people as I have when I started regularly coming to the classes here. Aside from my physical health, my mental health has improved so much since joining. Each class is like a mental reset that my brain needs at this point. I start my weeks with the hot classes and get my workouts in but I end my weeks with the reset and restore with Kim, which is such a good change of pace and honestly my favorite class style to take to end the week. 10/10 recommend to anyone in any walk of life- you don't need to be a pro- all the instructors que to different levels so you can always modify to fit your needs and mood. All modifications are welcomed and applauded because "listening to your body" is valued highly here. If you need a studio to start your yoga journey, you've found your place!

This studio is absolutely amazing. Everything from the space, to the instructors, to the music. It's so zen and the decor is so beautiful and intentional. I have been to a few different studios over the years but I feel like I found my home here. You can tell the owner Kim has poured so much love into this place. I always look forward to my classes. Whether you're in the beginning of your yoga journey or have been practicing for a while, I highly recommend checking this studio out!

Caffe Yoga is a yoga and wellness studio tucked in the center of retail madness at the District at Tustin Legacy. They are right across from Pinot Palette. I pass by all the time but the stars did not align until recently for me to attend a class here. I booked my class via classpass and the credits required was really affordable. It is suggested that you come 15 min prior to the class time to prevent delays. The real cause of delays is this busy plaza. You will need to fight through parking and walk your way over. The check in line was congested so definitely come early. Staff is nice. One thing I didn't like was the TINY FONT form in DIM LIGHTING. I literally had to ask them to let me take it outside where there's decent lighting for me to read the form before signing it. Your signature protects other people, so read before signing. Advice to the business: Maybe have a QC code people can scan and fill out or sign on their phone. Less points of contact and the digital record will be easy for the business to maintain. I got a mini tour of the studio since it was my first time. To the left of the entrance is where you put your belongings. Front desk is to the right of the entrance, with merchandise right behind. The location makes it difficult for me to look at the items as long as there is staff behind the desk... which they are most of the time. Then there is the main studio space. To the back they have the restroom in this nice peaceful room with props like the rental mats ($2), blocks and bolster. Their bolster is skinnier than the standard bolsters at other studios. I prefer the thicker bolsters for my poses. Anyways back to my Rest and Restore class with Stephanie. We were told to place our mat down anywhere we want. The class started 3 minutes late and extended 4 minutes over. It bothers me. The class itself was a decent format. Nice stretches and twists. There were variations if you prefer a deeper or less deep practice. It would be more relaxing if I didn't hear sounds from their neighbors. Thin walls. The downfall of a studio in a busy retail area and sharing walls without enough insulation. While the one class pricing via classpass seems reasonable, I don't personally see frequent visits to this studio because they currently only have 1 or 2 classes a day. My preferred practice time would be at 4:30pm on the dot if the business plans to have additional times in the future. So I like this studio, but not loving it. I don't mind visiting when the stars align again, but it wouldn't be integrated into my schedule any time soon.

A beautiful new studio

Still the most amazing yoga studio in OC. Recently moved to an even better location with incredible windows and views of trees. If you are looking for a beautiful place to practice yoga with supportive and wonderful teachers, this is your spot!

So many things to say about this amazing studio, the class flows are well designed so that you can try new, challenging movements, lots of them involve balance so I feel more agility. The cues that Kim gives are so helpful for improving your form. After class I always feel grounded, well stretched and worked out, a beautiful combination. The studio is a peaceful yoga setting!!! Ambient lighting, beautiful music and the interior has a natural vibe. This is a great yoga studio, love the classes, and the instructors are so kind. Highly recommend.

Got to check this studio thru class pass and I enjoyed it! Located Inside of the district. Right in front of the Boba cafe. I tried their vinyasa flow class and the instructor was great. Good flow of the routine. They offer these coins that's placed on top of your mat and depending if you want instructors to correct you or not you have the option to say yes or no before the class starts. Overall love how zen this studio is and temperature is just right. I got to try their community class offered on Sundays taught by newly certified instructors and it was a good experience. I appreciate the efforts of cultivating growth in these practicing instructors. It can get a lil choppy sequencing between 5 different instructors but still a very good session. I definitely suggest checking this studio out!

First off, the studio is located in the Village, which has ample parking, even if you run a bit behind on schedule. I like that it is in the corner where there are not a lot of people. When I got to the studio, I was welcomed by the friendly staff and then they showed me around. I was in one studio for HPF and this class is hot! It's a great way to practice your balance and get a good stretch while getting a sweat on too. This class left me feeling really calm and relaxed. A few days later, I took the C2 class in the other studio which was a little smaller. This was a good practice since we did a lot of balancing but also some ab work. Not as hot as the HPF class, but when you're super concentrated in the poses, the sweat was coming down! I felt super tired after this class, but a good sort of tired! After the classes, the instructors would check in with how the classes with before you leave and they bid you farewell too. I think it is so nice to have such intimate classes, but also get a personal connection with the instructors. They all are great in their practices and you can tell they want to be there to teach.

I also never had an instructor wipe my forehead with the towel, or touch my body. The studio cares a great deal about the sanitary conditions, particularly when they clean the floors with a strong cleaner between each class. As far as the 5-10 minute late window is concern, I learned to be punctual. 5-10 minutes really is more like 8-13 minutes because we have to set out mat and grab our weights, blocks, strap or whatever we need for the class. They also have a class wait list, adopting a 5-10 late window can seriously affect the schedules of other members. As far as the classes being warm, there is a strong reason for it. There is a description for every class. Otherwise, upon arrival one can ask the instructor the particulars of the class, including temperature. I love many of the instructors here, including very skilled and very friendly; Michaela. None of the instructors teach for the money. You will find that many of the instructors are dentist, attorneys and other professionals who love to share their talent and love being part of the community. If you live to give, come join!

It was a great way to explore different classes and find what I enjoy. I've really loved Gentle Yoga, Yin Yang, Slow Flow, Harmony Breath & Sound, and Restorative Yoga. All of the instructors I've taken classes with have been wonderful, especially Sylvia, Sara, Divya, and Natalie. Aysha has also subbed a few classes I've attended and has a very calming voice. I ended up signing up for the monthly unlimited membership after my trial. The pricing is very affordable compared to other studios, and I love the small, intimate atmosphere. The Sanctuary is such a peaceful and welcoming place, and I truly feel like it's a place of healing. I made sure to arrive early... especially when there was this excerpt on the class that says, "Arriving late, even unintentionally can take away from others - their peace, focus, and time". The parking lot was hard to find. I actually had to circle it a few times before finding it, and parking in their back lot. I entered from the back door and made my way through the front to check in with the owner. I checked in early. I signed in. I SIGNED THE WAIVER. The owner was going to give me a studio tour but she kept getting busy with other things. That's fine, not an issue. Their studio space is small. For aerial, there are 9 silks, so 1 for the instructor and 8 for the students. The front left is a bit close to some equipment so the teacher took that spot when it got busy. The spacing is a bit tight, and can cause students to bump into each other if they are not mindful. Also the studio is off a busy street and I can hear the cars driving by, so it could be more relaxing. Come early! Especially with aerial. It is important to adjust the silks where the bottom is at your pelvic height. A lot of the students did not come in until the start of class time, and the instructor still had to lower the silks and then adjust it to their height. OUR CLASS STARTED 10 MINUTES LATE. I don't blame the instructor because they can't turn away their students... but that is 10 minutes wasted from my time even though I was early and prepared. The aerial class itself was a great work out. A bit on the basic end of aerial yoga. I know the instructor mentioned she designs it based on the level of the class and we had some folks who were first timers so the instructor went easy on us. The owner offered to take pictures for us, but she went away. The instructor was nice to take photos too, but her yoga skills are definitely better than her photography skills. In one of the photos where my face and body shaped looked the best, she had her whole thigh in it. Sigh. We were 3 minutes from class ending time and we didn't even get into the silks for a cocoon savasana. At that point I just left cause it didn't seem like we would be doing the savasana or anything. What annoyed me the most ... is receiving a messaging telling me I didn't sign a waiver and that I need to sign one next time. WOW !! I came early... signed the waiver... had my time wasted... and now I get this email telling me I didn't sign the waiver. Before receiving that message I was in the air about coming back. But after seeing that message I was so annoyed. I am not coming back... It would have been more tactful to wait for me to come back and ask me at that time to sign if they misplaced the last one. I work out to relax but this whole experience was so stressful. I shouldn't have my time wasted if THEY are disorganized.

I've taken Sculpt, Signature, TRX and Core here, and the instructors are great at guiding you through a pose, whether you are a beginner or advanced yogi. I appreciate the options given on how to use blocks to actually get you into the correct form for each pose. Evelyn and Walter in particular are excellent... clear cues, good adjustments, the kind of teaching that makes a difference. I've been practicing yoga on and off at a lot of different studios over the years, and I can say with confidence that not every instructor gets you there. These two do. I hit a full wheel and splits for the first time since I started practicing, which tells you everything about how well they teach. One thing I noticed... I much prefer when instructors use the mic headset during class. It keeps their voice calm and steady, which matters a lot when you're trying to stay present in a pose. I took one class there with an instructor who didn't use it, and having to project over the music gave the whole thing a bootcamp energy rather than a yoga one. It wasn't a great fit for me, though I know that style works for some people. What also keeps me coming back is the community. The instructors and other students here are kind and welcoming, the kind of studio where people actually say hello. And the schedule works... there's enough variety in class times that it's easy to find something that fits your day. A few practical notes... there are two bathrooms, no showers, plenty of cubby space for your belongings, and a filtered water fountain if you need a refill. If you're newer to yoga or have been at it for years, this is a solid studio to build a practice at. Just try to peek at who's teaching the mic-free classes if that's not your vibe.
