Very pretty studio! I came for the reformer pilates class and there were 5 people total in our class so very intimate. I kinda wish the instructor showed is more moves in the workout because I was confused most of the time because she just walked around and described what to do. I think everyone in the class was a little confused too because we were all kinda doing different things but it was still a very good workout! Parking was super easy and the studio was easy to find. So this place was hard to find. The suite is 110 but it's technically on the second floor if you're coming from Coffee Dose. The space itself is minimal with cubbies, a FloWater dispenser and a couch that was in desperate need of a refresh. It looked a little raggedy. The workout itself from Clarissa was great and has my inner thighs sore even 2 days after. The lights behind the mirrors looked like they were flickering out, some mirrors looked foggy and the ceiling looked dusty/unfinished. The mirrors on the ceiling were also not ligned up with the reformers so they seemed useless (at least to me). Since I was on my back a lot of the time, I had a lot of time to look up and critique. Overall, this is a simple spot for a good workout. Clarissa had nice mellow music the entire time and wonderful cueing. read more

I had such a great experience at Coeur Pilates with Fallon! She led a challenging yet super fun workout that left me feeling strong and energized. Fallon is incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, and made sure to correct form when needed, which I really appreciated. tried coeur pilates for the first time ever and had such a great experience! this was my first time doing pilates so i didn't really know what to expect, but my instructor fallon geiger was super welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. i booked through classpass and she still took the time to walk me through everything, correct my form, and check in throughout the class...even with a full room. the studio itself is really cute, clean, and has a calm, inviting vibe. everyone wipes down their reformers after class which i appreciated, and parking was super easy which is always a plus. it's a smaller space so the class felt more personal and less overwhelming. perfect if you like a more intimate, focused environment. highly recommend for anyone new to pilates or just looking for a solid studio! read more

I absolutely love the Pilates classes here and all of the teachers are very well educated and so sweet!! I have tried many other Pilates studios and this one seems to have the most effective workouts for me. I always leave feeling like "definitely going to be sore tomorrow" which I want. I had a pass for this studio and renewed it twice. Everything was fine until my 9th class, where I became dissatisfied. 1. The cueing wasn't clear, so I was confused about what movements were required. 2. We switched from arm exercises to leg exercises and then all the sudden to ab exercises, but I didn't feel like I got a proper workout in any specific area. 3. The music was so loud that I couldn't hear the instructor's voice at all. I expressed my concerns through a message, which was marked as "read," but I did not receive a response. As a result, I sent an email. In my email, I respectfully communicated my dissatisfaction and politely requested an additional session to address the issues. However, when she responded, there was no apology or acknowledgment of my dissatisfaction. Instead, I was told that preferences vary and that I should understand that instructors are also human. While I recognize that personal preferences can differ, I spent my time and money on this session, and even though it was only $20, I felt it was wasted. I wasn't asking for a refund, yet I felt my concerns were completely dismissed. I would have understood if she had acknowledged my feelings and explained that, due to policy, an additional session could not be provided. ********** I believe that when a customer expresses dissatisfaction, it is important to acknowledge their feedback and strive for improvement. Additionally, I noticed that the Reformer and the floor had a lot of hair, which made me question the cleanliness of the studio. Just finished my two week package at coeur. Although this studio is a one minute drive away, which would make this so convenient for my morning workouts at 6:30-7:30. I unfortunately do not think I would ever buy a package here. I came from a small studio who truly practiced Joseph Pilates and was not cheap.. ran me about $375 a month but felt so worth it. So i was hesitant when i moved cities and looking for another studio. To start, these are really cheap reformers & there is not a lot of range / variety offered from them. They look like they are from Amazon. Also, This is not true Pilates and either the studio or instructors need to be more clarifying this is more lagree. Form is rarely corrected and they barely use the reformer it's insane. I think we use the reformer straps about twice each class. Usually an arm expansion move once and then legs in straps in the end. I wish they practiced true Pilates here as this space could be so nice. Also, you're pretty cramped in so when you are using the reformer you will have other peoples feet in your face or be careful not to hit someone. They should have one less reformer each row in here but they won't because they want everyone's $$$ It was nice to get a workout in and if this place was cheaper, i would probably not mind signing up just to get a sweat in and who cares if the outcome. However, some of the classes feel like an absolute waste of time. The worst instructors were Jenny and dani, i am so sorry but their classes were horrible. Literally 4 sets of whatever the heck that was the whole time. Also, Jenny counted down way too fast & dani used an app for a timer which was crazy to me. It felt like a home workout not a class i was paying $ for. Also the music was INSANELY loud and i have a high tolerance, im 28 years old. I couldn't ever imagine bringing a friend, my mom or a coworker here it would be so embarrassing I can't risk $325 a month to leave not feeling like i got my moneys worth... coeur do better. Nice new website though, definitely made it less confusing & all the girls are super sweet and welcoming. But please find some experience girls and make sure their classes are worth the price you a charging for read more

Took my first class here tonight and had a blast! First of all, the studio is both super cute and functional - nearly every spot has access to a side mirror AND every spot is under a circular ceiling mirror - something I've never seen! It was SUPER helpful to be able to see my form from the top view - for example, I noticed that my knees were caving inward during footwork and was able to make the correction. The instructor Fallon was super nice, helpful and ran a great sequence. She was the perfect mix of motivating and challenging and I loved the pace of the class and the playlist. Coeur offers new students a discounted $20 single class, and has packages / memberships that are valid at this studio and their Huntington Beach location (haven't checked it out, but now I want to!). Note that you won't be able to see Coeur from the street or even the front parking lot. It's located upstairs above Coffee Dose - all the more reason to reward yourself after getting here for a sweat sesh. See you in class! read more

Though I felt it awkward if I did that, so I walked around the balcony awaiting class. + This pilates studio has a unique feature I've never seen elsewhere. There are big flat circular mirrors installed into the ceiling, one above each reformer. You can observe your technique while performing workouts where you're lying down face-up. + The instructor had great energy and is attentive to your technique and is encouraging. Tried Coeur Pilates while I was in the area and the instructor was super sweet, no complaints there. But the music? Way too loud. I could barely hear the cues, so half the time I was guessing what to do. Also, there was hair on the floor... yikes. Not sure how often they sweep, but it definitely didn't give "clean studio" vibes. Glad I gave it a shot, but I wouldn't come back and I wouldn't recommend it either. read more

I really enjoy my classes here at Coeur! This is a very boutique-ish pilates studio as it only has ~10 reformers. I find the classes to be pretty beginner friendly, though I think some of the instructors are more meticulous with position correcting which I prefer since I feel that is safer and keeping me more in the appropriate mechanics. I am shaking by the end of class but I love the stretch and strength I feel in my body. I definitely will be attending class from time to time here (through Class Pass) but I think it is a little expensive for a membership, especially when the pilates instructors are a little more inconsistent in terms of training! All in all though, a really beautiful location and a fun/good experience! read more

My daughter goes to college in CA and she goes here. They have charged me over $1000 in two months, 3 times in November alone. I can't get ahold of anyone, I have left voicemails, sent emails, no one will reply!! This is terrible business! I want our money back! Despite the rain, I still made it to my Pilates class and it was well worth it. The studio is so beautiful and the mirrors up on the ceiling was an extra plus. Our instructor Sue was the best!! Coeur is the best Pilates in OC! I've been going for over a year now, and each instructor makes the class challenging. It's finally a studio I feel I get my $ worth for each class. They even have mirrors on the ceiling so you can see yourself during the workout! My favorite instructors are Fallon and Ariana. I had my first class scheduled with them and 9:30 am in the morning. I was one minute late and the doors were locked as soon as I got there and as I was looking at the missed reservation I noticed you get charged a no show to reservation fee. I want to say I called 4 times to avoid having this happen. I was only going to be a minute late and nobody answered the phone every single time. I'm truly disappointed. read more
