I go to this cute little Pilates studios, right across the street from the South Coast Plaza before I go into the office. I always take Reagan's super early class & every time I swuuurrr it does NOT get easier LOL xD (not in a bad way) It's saur hard to get classes at this studio -- especially if you use class pass but it's so worth it once you do get a hold of a class ! Reagan focuses mostly on abs and legs with a bit of arms.

Very great classes with convenient location and good price. I love how they have multiple classes at different times to fit with everyone's schedules. My favorite pilates instructor is Shuaaa. Recommended this to all my family and friends.

My first time ever taking a pilates class, and I loved it! I booked the class through a third party (like ClassPass), and it was super easy to enroll and check in. There was ample parking, I did take an early morning weekday class but there is a huge parking structure and they validate for 2 hours. Reagan was amazing, she helped me with my form throughout the class, and was motivational without it being too much. As a beginner, it was already challenging enough but you can definitely adjust it to your level! 2 days later, I am still sore but I will definitely be back!

So far, I've had a really good experience at BeFit Pilates. I got a 10 class package and I plan on purchasing more. I've tried out different instructors and they're are all great! Morgan and Hunter are the best! Every time I come in for a class, I'm excited and the class kicks my butt. The studio is located in the same building as Philz Coffee across the street from South Coast Plaza. The studio is very clean and gets a lot of like natural light, which I like. You can park in either the parking structure or outside if it's available they give you a two hour validation if needed. If it's your first time, be sure to bring grippy socks. I would highly recommend checking them out if you're getting into Pilates with reformers.

BE Fit Modern Pilates is my best find on ClassPass so far. I try out many yoga, barre and pilates studio, and I can honestly say this work out has been one of the more intense satisfying sessions. The describe themselves as a "boutique fitness studio offering HIGH intensity, but low impact workout" and I definitely felt that intensity. Since the pandemic the entrance switched to the entrance off Sunflower. There is some parking in the private lot or parking in the parking structure nearby. They offer validation for up to 2 hours. You will need grip socks and I recommend plenty of water. The requirement for grip socks is communicated prior on the ClassPass app, so to the other person complaining about the grip socks, I call BS. And I've been to many studios that require grip socks. It's a norm for all of those who frequent fitness studios. My first class was with Morgan and I enjoyed it so much, I came back for a subsequent class a few days later with Anika. Both of them were super friendly and motivational. Morgan knew it was my first class so she did a great job explaining the layout of the studio and the equipment to me. The reformer machines are different than the ones I am used to at Club Pilates but Morgan did a thorough job explaining it to me. Both Morgan and Anika were super nice and provided alternative or supporting tricks to help me get used to their reformer machine. The work out at BE Fit Modern Pilates is so intense. They combine pilates cardio with resistance training to effectively engage your muscles. The warm up was even intense! During the work out I was shaking like crazy and the neon sign on their wall "Make it Shake" really lived up to its' fame. Their style pushes for quick results. All of the ladies there look amazing, so I believe it. BE Fit Modern Pilates has definitely made it into my rotation. I would definitely like to come as often as my schedule permits when I'm in OC.

I'm beyond impressed by his ability to teach while seemingly-effortlessly demonstrating the moves himself. I struggle with dance technique (and basic coordination---eek), and feel like I'm slowly improving while consistently enjoying a killer workout. Matt's classes are such a warm, welcoming way to start (or end!) the day. Grateful for him, and for the communal safe space that he has built.

Unfortunately I felt the need to write this review. I signed…read moreup for and attended a heels class here as an experienced dancer returning to dance after a hiatus. First of all, this studio is EXTREMELY hard to find. Obviously it is listed as "Groove Dance Fitness" online, however when I followed my navigation's instructions to the parking lot, I could not find any signage that advertised this business. I circled the block 3 times before parking somewhere random to pull up the website. I scoured the website to see if there was any specific instruction on where to find the studio to no avail. So, I figured I would call the number on Yelp. Once I opened Yelp, it stated that the studio was only open from 6pm to 8pm... I was signed up for a class that STARTED at 8pm. Confused, I called the phone number listed. After ringing for several minutes, it went to a voicemail that only stated a person's name as the outgoing message, nothing about it being associated with Groove Dance Fitness. Feeling defeated, I searched through the photos on Yelp and deduced that the studio was in a certain parking lot I had passed multiple times. I parked and watched someone walk into a door which was labeled under a different fitness studio name, but she was carrying a Burju bag, so I figured I would try it. Upon approaching the door, I saw in very small font to the left of the entrance "Groove Dance Fitness". I knew I was a couple minutes late when walking in due to the confusion of actually locating the studio. However, nobody greeted me. I joined the warm up on the floor which consisted of less than 10 minutes of stagnant stretching and a 60 second plank. Feeling zero percent warmed up, we were then asked to put on our knee pads and heels. I will say that the combination was fun, but I had some aches and pains since my muscles were effectively still cold. Towards the end of the class, the teacher paired us up as "watching buddies" to "amp each other up" during our run of the combination. My buddy did and said nothing as I danced. I decided to leave at 9pm since the class was listed as an hour and I do believe leaving a class early to be bad studio etiquette. This was also the time people were taking out their phones to record and I did not feel like being filmed. The cherry on top was that a fellow classmate saw me leaving and asked why I was leaving already. I just mentioned I have work in the morning. She then went on to ask if I have any dance experience, what my background is, and "who I train with". I stated that I've been dancing my whole life, but had to take a break due to personal reasons. I don't train with anyone as I am just getting back in the game. She then suggested to I try out a different studio that is more "beginner friendly". I politely smiled and took my leave. But not before the instructor noticed me, I told her "thank you for the class" and slipped out. Safe to say, I will not be returning. Personally, I did not feel welcomed at this studio. Hopefully, other people have a better experience than I did.

The first half of the class was an interval training between walking, jogging, and running. And the second half of the class was strength training. I wish there was more guidance from the instructor for the second half but it was just following what was on the screen like 100 step ups, 90 plank shoulder taps, 80 something, 70 something, etc. It was kind of like F45 style but without the timer and stations. Since there wasnt too much guidance on that part, I felt like I pretty much paid for an interval training on the treadmill. I enjoyed the experience though and would be open to trying out a different class to give it a fair review of if I want to continue or not. I'm still giving it a solid 4 stars though because I pay attention to little details. This studio had HAIR TIES and TAMPONS and even face wash in their bathrooms for us girlies and it's not much but so thoughtful!! Also there are earplugs inside the studio room for those who think its too loud!!! I get headaches when its too loud so I felt so seen and understood by the studio. Also at the end of class, a staff walks around passing out COLD WET TOWELS so you can cool down. These are all little extras that really make a studio stand out so kudos to this place!!
