I'm all about ambience. The room is dimmed and relaxing whether you're doing a morning or night class. The sculpt class is definitely more high tempo if you're interested in a weight lifting yoga fusion. They have various levels. When I first started I would take breaks throughout the class. The instructors are very knowledgeable and will give modifications if needed. You are guided through various movements but are welcomed to do your own variations. I'm older and have a lot of old sports injuries and I modify my positions all of the time. Come sweat it out. The heat is moderate. Above 80 degrees but not Birkim hot. For me it's perfect. Hour long classes. Be sure to arrive early they will not allow late entry out of respect for the other people in the class. Classes start on time. The doors are locked during the class. If I could gatekeep this place, I would. Lxryoga is my favorite hot yoga studio for many reasons: first, all of the instructors in the classes I've taken were all very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They each have their own style and approach in yoga which I appreciate. Shoutout to Veesta, Bobbie and Troy for being awesome instructors! I love how there's a variety of classes being offered too - from the fast paced and intense Yoga Sculpt to more focused and intention-setting classes like Yoga Vinyasa 2. Another thing I love about this studio is how they don't pack everyone they could in a small room, which is a nightmare for hot yoga. They have an online system which makes reservation easy and have specific markers for the spots to ensure proper spacing between people. All of the facility are kept clean and well-maintained, including the locker, restroom and the yoga studio. Lastly, they make use of infrared lighting in the studio which I've read has a lot of benefits for your skin and health. I definitely noticed improvements in my immune system upon consistently attending these classes. read more

Absolutely love this place. The owners, Tess and Huy are extremely hospitable. They truly have a passion and love for their business and it shows in the quality of the studio and it's instructors. I used to go to Radiant Hot Yoga- honestly, I got over the rude and negative staff there. They only did the same routine every class, and they cranked up the heat so hot people would be sick during and after class. They raised their prices to be even more expensive than equinox, and would never return your calls. Thankfully, LXR is quite the opposite. I'm grateful for finding this studio. Not only are the owners and instructors great, but each class is different and unique. I love how each instructor has their own style, and they don't require them to follow a strict routine. The studio is always clean and smells great! The prices are reasonable and the people who go here aren't trying to do hot yoga because it's trending. I'm always exhilarated by the classes here. Lxryoga is the closest thing I have had to an actual steady routine that motivated me to keep coming back, in a very long time. Each and every class and yoga instructor has been in and of itself a thrill, a challenge, and a relief in my day to day life. I purchased a package to motivate myself to go more than once, and accidentally bought two. When they offered to resolve it for me, I I decided to jump in with both feet and keep both (10 sessions). I arrived at 7:04 and the door was locked. I waited 10 minutes before someone finally came to the door and was refused to enter the class. How was I supposed to come in if the door was locked? Was really upsetting because I drove from really far for this class and was excited to do it with my friend. Never coming back. read more

This place is incredible. I can't wait to use up all my RA yoga classes so I can get a membership at this spot. It's a super cute boutique-y studio. The owners are very nice. New equipment, spacious room; everything is perfect. And I love that they don't pack you in the room like a bunch of sardines--you can actually stretch! The infrared heat is AMAZING. It really makes a difference with detoxification. You genuinely feel better after class. And the ginger kombucha shot at the end is such a nice touch! Thank you LXR for my free class. A great yoga place in the heart of CM! The studio is located upstairs in a small business strip, with plenty of parking. Studio itself on the smaller side, but very clean and modern (no showers, just fyi!) I loved how warm they kept the class, and the infrared lighting is awesome! I 100% recommend Lexi's Buti class, but I hope to go back for others! Also the eucalyptus towel at the end was such a nice touch. read more

I have been a member of this studio for over a year now and I could not recommend LXR enough! It has classes for all levels and is a very welcoming, zen, and positive space. The teachers are so talented and really bring their own personality/style to each class. The studio is also locally owned and managed, you will not meet two sweeter people than owners, Tess & Huy, who are also amazing instructors. The membership is fairly priced, there is always parking available for class (a huge plus!), they have a dressing room, a water station, rentals available, lockers, and merch for sale. At the end of every class, they offer a cold eucalyptus towel to cool down with. They now are offering teacher training as well! The monthly unlimited membership is more affordable than competitors and the facilities are nicer. They have classes for different skill sets and layers from beginners to advanced. I've been coming to lxryoga for several months now, I am an unlimited member. I've tried several yoga studios once I began to incorporate yoga into my fitness routine and I can honestly say that lxr yoga is the best and I want to express my appreciation for the space. It's something really special I love the small intimate and romantic environment. I describe it as "romantic" because at night the yoga is in the dark by candlelight most nights which is what drew me to the space. Im all about environment and I love Tess and Huy really took the time to create a beautiful aesthetic space. All the instructors are passionate and make you feel comfortable and I love each instructors independent style and their focus. I have various body injuries that don't allow me to practice certain positions but I still feel comfortable and do my best. My schedule hasn't allowed me to practice with each instructor but the night and days I do get to go I always have a great experience. I love both hot yoga and yoga, I know some people can't stand the heat but I do recommend taking a yoga class in a regular temperature room and then try hot yoga to see if your body can take the heat. read more

Took a relaxing class here to try and unwind a few weeks ago and couldn't stand the young ladies voice who was leading the class ... her name was Melissa don't mean to be rude but her voice was very high pitched and unpleasant she needs to find a new career!! Honestly this is the best studio I've been to! At lxr every single class you take will be unique and incorporate new sequences which I love! Previous studios I've been to were very repetitive. Also the variety of different classes was perfect for someone like me who some days wants an intense workout, and others a nice relaxing flow. Major bonus is the 2 separate floors that separates hot yoga vs normal, giving you the option to listen to your body's needs for that specific day. They deep clean and sanitize after every class. Only thing I didn't like was the cancellation policy, but it's understandable due to the limited capacity due to Covid. I couldn't recommend more! read more
