My name is Jeffrey S. Bowerman, and I have been a dedicated member of your gym, frequently working out with my wife, Debbie Bowerman. The incident leading to this ban occurred in February 2026 and involved a staff member named Cindy. At the time, I was dealing with significant personal and health challenges, including a broken foot and multiple hospitalizations, as well as serious illnesses affecting my brothers. During an interaction regarding the recovery and tanning beds, there was a misunderstanding about my membership level and the use of the mobile app. While I admit I became frustrated, I immediately apologized to Cindy and explained the personal stress I was under. Unfortunately, when I asked to speak with Chris, he upheld the decision to revoke my membership across all locations without, to my knowledge, reviewing any video footage of the interaction. My wife and I valued our time at Chuze Fitness, as it was a vital part of our routine and wellbeing. Being restricted to the local recreation center has been a poor substitute for the facilities and community at your gym. I don't think I could start a review at this point in time without mentioning safety and health measures. I feel one-hundred percent safe and comfortable with how the studio is handling things. Upon entry, your temperature is taken and you're asked about any symptoms. Class sizes are limited, stations are spread out, extra wipes are provided and rotations are like a dance - spreading people out intentionally and methodically. Although I miss the high-fives, I love being back in the gym and I sincerely appreciate these measures. Aside from the COVID-specific health and safety measures, this studio is one of my favorites that I've been to. The front desk staff are incredibly kind, answering questions and always remembering your name. The coaches are motivating, play great music and are in-tune to what's going on their class, respectfully correcting form, as well as offering acknowledgement and encouragement. Pre-COVID, I appreciated the little things throughout the studio like water bottles if you forgot yours and hair ties, deodorant and other items in the restroom. It's the little things that stick out and make you feel welcome. They understood completely when I had to pause my membership due to some surgical complications, and welcomed me back with open arms when the doctor said I was ready - always offering modifications and options until I recovered completely. Great people plus awesome workout plus clean location equals one awesome OTF studio. I'm glad to class this my home studio and look forward to many more workouts!

The women were all very warm and welcoming. The space was really clean too which is important when it comes to gyms. I felt very comfortable here. The lifts were taught in a very educational way and it was clear that safety was of the utmost importance here, which it needs to be when we're talking about lifting heavy stuff. The environment was so supportive with everyone cheering others on. I can definitely see myself coming back for other classes after doing the workshop. The only disadvantage for me is that it's so far from where I live, so that's a personal downside not anything directed at the business. I'll definitely try to come back when my schedule allows for it though since it's been hard to find a good powerlifting gym around Denver.

I love the community and the fact that people make an effort to get to know each other. In a city as big as Denver, that is very hard to come by. I also love that there is no talk of weight loss, diets, calories, or being thin in the classes. Fierce45 takes a holistic approach to fitness that focuses on mindset and strength building rather than looking a certain way. Not every studio does this so it is much appreciated. Thanks to Fierce45, I also now have core strength that I never thought possible! I no longer dread when planks are cued. You simply cannot find a better workout for building strength or endurance.
