The instructor was so nice, gave clear instructions, and made key adjustments in form when needed. I love the gentle reminders on the floor under the machines it's a unique touch. I think I'm past due for a review update, especially since I've been attending classes at Fierce45 for over 18 months now and have taken close to 300 classes. I love the community and the fact that people make an effort to get to know each other. In a city as big as Denver, that is very hard to come by. I also love that there is no talk of weight loss, diets, calories, or being thin in the classes. Fierce45 takes a holistic approach to fitness that focuses on mindset and strength building rather than looking a certain way. Not every studio does this so it is much appreciated. Thanks to Fierce45, I also now have core strength that I never thought possible! I no longer dread when planks are cued. You simply cannot find a better workout for building strength or endurance. Come on baby, make it hurt so good. I finally made it back to a Fierce45 class after a long (like, a year) break and was reminded why I love it so much. Not much has changed since the last time I was in--this studio continues to be clean, professional, and extra motivational. A few more reasons why this place rocks: + In and out in 45 minutes?! This is the quickest mix of strength, endurance, and cardio I've been able to find. + The music and instructors both make you want to work harder. If having "Booty" on the loud speaker while someone preaches to you about dancer bodies isn't motivational, I don't know what is. + Location, location, location. While I don't live in this 'hood anymore, I still think this is a great spot for a studio. Parking is super easy and there's a Whole Foods right around the corner to reward yourself with a green juice (or a donut...I'm not judging). Boutique workout fans, strength buffs, endurance junkies...this is a workout for you! Grab yourself a pair of sticky socks (they sell them there and trust me, you'll want them) and get into it. read more

My new jam. I have done pilates for years and have slowly gotten into reformer pilates. Fierce 45 takes pilates to a whole new level! Do I suffer? Yes, the classes are VERY challenging and I'm in pretty good shape. I like being challenged, though, and this is a very effective workout. It took me probably a good 6 classes to understand the machines and there are still times when I have to look around at what everyone else is doing to figure out the next move. In fact, seems like a lot of us do this! It's the best when there is an empty machine and the instructor can demonstrate the moves. It is pricey....and you do have to plan out your class in advance. Those are the biggest cons and won't keep me away. read more

Took a free intro class and it was great - definitely something worth trying! I was not familiar with Lagree pilates, so was unsure how this (or I) would work out, but loved it. The workout was good but not overwhelming for an active 50+ male since most positions felt very comfortable (unlike some yoga poses for me), but I could also feel the strain and push, especially on muscles I don't use a lot. I did pause occasionally if I needed to, and the instructor was fantastic, nicely encouraging us all to finish out each specific exercise. Get ready to shake and love it! F45 is my new-found workout love. My coworker recommended that I try it out to mix up my routine and I'm hooked. I've always been a "stick it out on the treadmill & elliptical" kind of girl and I love how much these classes challenge not only my body, but my brain as well. I'm always telling myself I can get a little lower, push a little farther, etc. The instructors are so motivating and provide great feedback throughout class. I positioned my foot incorrectly this morning in the middle of a move and my instructor caught my form within a few seconds. I also love the restricted size of the classes (you have to schedule early - more on that later), never do I feel overwhelmed or intimidated. I think the class size truly is a huge reason for the great experience. The studio itself is a great location right off 25, and parking is always available on the surrounding streets. It's a hip and relaxing space, that is decorated perfectly for the workout. I love the neon sign behind the desk! Plenty of room for storing your purse and jacket. A couple things to note: there's only one bathroom available and changing rooms are made with curtains hanging from the ceiling. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind! The pricing is a bit more than this "elliptical" girl is used to, but I really do believe it's worth it. Make sure you're on top of your scheduling via the website or app - classes book up fast...but don't be afraid of the waitlist. For my class this morning, I was originally ninth on the waitlist, but got in two days before! You can try your first class for free and then continue on to the two new member options - unlimited week and unlimited month to make sure this place was for you. I did that and I now feel comfortable enough that I'm calling tomorrow to buy a whole year! Come on in and try a class - you won't regret it! read more

Fierce45 is always an amazing, killer workout. I have been to several classes, with many different instructors, and truly all of them are amazing. They are so encouraging, always help you with your form, and they are always changing things up. You will never do the exact same workout twice! (At least that is how it feels!) I will say that it takes a couple of classes to learn the lingo, and I am still learning moves each time I go, but after a 2-3 classes you definitely feel more comfortable. After the last ~6 weeks of doing Fierce45 classes regularly, I have noticed a change in my body! The workout is low-impact, which is great. And there are always modifications if a certain move is too much for your body, as well if you need to up-level on anything. I love that your first class is free - it is an intimidating class, but this is a great way to get people to try it! Give it a try - you'll be hooked! read more

The teachers are encouraging, and let you know when you have modifications and give you the extra push when you need it. Nice lagree studio! I like the exposed brick and that there are towels complimentary for use. Another bonus is that you can have three free classes. They also do a promotion if you do an Instagram post. I teach lagree in California so I am pretty critical and I really enjoyed both of my workouts :-) Lagree produces amazing results in general, as in total body transformation. Based on my positive experience here I would expect any regular clients would see similar results. read more

If you haven't tried Lagree Pilates, you should check out Fierce 45. The workout is tough, you will feel sore, you will see results and it will be super efficient as the classes are only 45 minutes. The design of the workout makes it impossible to plateau. I am always challenged. The instructors are welcoming, supportive, and the small class size ensures you get the right amount of attention. They pay attention to your form which is important. Only negative is that the classes are pricey but on par with the going rate for most Lagree studios in Denver. Important to note that sticky socks are required for all classes. read more

My coworker introduced me to Fierce45 and I decided to give it a try this morning at the Wash Park location. Honest to goodness, one of the hardest but best full body workout classes I've ever been to! I was shaking and sweating by the first few minutes. This class is no joke. Sophia was the instructor for the class this morning. She was so welcoming and walked me through how to use the MegaFormer machine before the class started. She walks around and corrects your form throughout the whole class and pushes you to go further and harder. They have a variety of times available for the classes at 3 different locations. The first class is free! They do require sticky socks, which you can purchase for ~$16 plus tax. It was an intense workout but a great start to my weekend. Can't wait to go back! read more

If you think you are in shape... come try these classes! What a killer workout! It stems from a lagree fitness- I like to think of it as extreme Pilates/barre/mental health workout. The team here is fantastic and really works with newbies like me. Classes have been relatively small and gives the instructor enough time to tweak and get each person who needs it in the right position. You can feel your body slimming down in all the right places, by building lean muscle. Parking in WashPark can be an issue for later classes so give yourself time. You know what's both invigorating and frustrating at the same time? Going to the gym on a regular basis, feeling pretty fit and strong, and then going to a new type of workout and getting your ass handed to you. If you look at the pictures, you'd think it was just pilates jacked up on steroids. I've done pilates and loved it, but I've never worked up so much sweat during normal pilates. Fierce will work out the big and little muscles in your body. There's really no time to stop for a drink, so hydrate well before class. At this location, plenty of street and some parking lot parking. Also, small classes (I think 12 max) so you get plenty of attention from the instructor. Bring grippy socks if you have them!! Torey, the owner, is so welcoming! I truly enjoyed my first a second class. I can't believe how difficult it is! I am super active and a regular at other facilities in town, but this workout takes the cake as far as difficulty goes. I didn't sweat a ton, but I felt like I was really working my smaller muscles. I felt very elongated after class! I think Torey knows when to challenge you, but also doesn't make you feel like a newbie when you really are. I LOVE Fierce45 and have done over 60/70 classes. I can't recommend it enough. It's effective, challenging, motivating, and life changing. My only pet peeve with the Wash Park studio is that it is usually chaotic with new teachers (not so much if it is with a tenured teacher like Torrey, Meredith, Bettina, Stephanie, Molly) and almost all new students. I prefer to go to the LoHi location because of this reason, even though I live in Wash Park. Teaching methods, flow of exercises, transitions, technique (form and going SLOW - I'm talking slow like a sloth) are much more on point with the LoHi staff. However, I'm sure this will change drastically once Wash Park is at full functionality in a few months. If you're new here, try it and keep with it. I fully believe it will change your perspective on fitness and the process in creating a healthy/toned/lean body. The community here is also amazing and inclusive. Hands down one of the best workouts in Denver. read more

Fierce45.. how much do I love you? It's a friggin sweet sweaty ride that burns alllllll your core and brings the shakey shakey to even those who like to shakey shakey. Out of the coaches I've had the pleasure of almost crying in front of, Stephanie brings the hardest class, and for that reason I take her classes. The megaformer was the brainchild of a body builder who enjoyed pilates but wanted a bigger strengthen routine. It's just a sled, a sled with springs, a sled with springs you sloooooowly move your body with, and its awesome. If you want a full body condition blast, this is your place. You will sweat, you'll want to quit, but your body will thank you for each crazy lunge, push, pull you endure. read more

Awesome unassuming workout. Take the hardest yoga class you've ever done. Add weights. Now do the whole thing on a sliding platform. The result? The best kind of sore. I woke up the day after and thought I was ok. About 5 hours later I realized I wasn't quite lifting my arms on the way and was still sitting because it hurts to get up. Love Fierce45. LOVE. Whether you're new to working out or a regular somewhere else, you will get a great workout here. If you've never been to a Fierce45 before, be sure to get there 15 minutes early so the instructor can show you how to use the machine and explain what the moves are. Here is why I love it so much: --I am a morning workout person so having 6 a.m. classes that are only 45 minutes is perfect for me. --The majority of the instructors are so upbeat and motivating. Though I've figured out my favorites and try to always schedule with them, I still like to try new instructors just in case there is a new favorite out there (which seems to happen when I try new studios). --Depending on the instructor and what moves they do that class (and depending on how hard I truly push myself), I could be sore for either a few hours or a couple of days. Either way, I'm sore and that always makes me feel like it was worth it! This studio specifically is a great location. They seem to have slightly less apparel as the other studios, but still a good selection. I always end up looking through the racks after class. I've only been early mornings but parking was never an issue, there is lots of street parking plus a small lot to the side of the studio. First class is free so it doesn't hurt to try (doesn't hurt money wise, your body will definitely be hurting though). read more

Our instructor, Gwendolyn, made the experience even better with her encouraging yet funny attitude. She was also excellent at introducing me to reformer and walking me through all of the (new) positions, most of which I never knew my body was even capable of holding! I'm so happy to have been introduced to Fierce45. This will definitely be an addition to my regular workout routine. I highly recommend checking them out. Sick workout but don't "late cancel" because you lose the class you paid for and get charged another $20. First class is free, so try it out! Be prepared to spend some $$. Even with my 8X/month membership, its still $20 per class. That being said, I am obsessed with Lagree and have become irrational about the cost because its addicting. read more

Oh my gosh I cant say enough great things about Fierce45 and the workout! I started a little over a month ago (first 1-2 classes are free) and i was hooked. I immediately bought a 3 month unlimited plan and have been going 6 times a week ever since. I can already see the changes in my body and i cant wait to see future results. If you are going for your first class you can either buy socks for around $10-$14 or rent for $2 All the instructors are great....however I definitely have my favorites (cough cough *Charlene & Sophia* cough cough). Classes do tend to fill up so you do have to sign up ahead of time for the popular times but they have a great app that makes it super easy Oh and they have the cutest clothes on sale- who doesnt love that? read more

I recently attended a prenatal class at Fierce45 and I did not know what I was getting myself into! It was intense, different and fun! I had not done anything like it before, but really enjoyed the challenge. I would highly recommend the class to any other prego mommies, especially if you're early in your pregnancy and have time to develop your technique.
